This is a revisit to an old champion suggestion I made a long time ago.

  • Initial considerations: This version of Ora'war is quite simple, but with a somewhat complicated gameplay. He has an absurd range with his abilities, but has little mobility (hence, few ways to escape), is predictable, can be easily detected on the map due to the movement of his skills and very little life bar. After all, I wanted to create a mortar from the Void that attacked from a great distance, and like a mortar in real life, you would have a certain difficulty to aim and give predictions in order to hit enemies. Of course, I've tried to create a jungle that does not need to gank to help its team directly. Certain things can still be weighed and balanced. For example, how will I keep the player away from the possibility of turning Ora'war into a tank? How am I going to keep a cadence (recharge time on skills) interesting for it to be useful, but not be broken? What will his process be like to clean the jungle? How useful could I do it in team fights? Who knows, I could reach out to him based on damage (either ap or ad), or sacrifice life in exchange for damage/range, or increase range as damage increases. I could also make the ultimate be scalable by level, the first evolution of the ult being only the front of the fortress, the second and the middle, and the third, the ultimate complete.

 

Skills:

  • Passive - Destructive Proliferation: Ora'war's volatile energy violently breaks the fabric of reality in the places hit by his offensive abilities, creating small connections with the Void and corrupting the terrain with his insatiable life forms. Corrupted terrain will spawn voidlings every x seconds (there is a limit amount of portals). On top of these terrains, Ora'war will gain speed of movement and regenerate life more quickly.

  • Q - Tracing Beam: Passive - Chain of command: Ora'war can coordinate voidlings to a certain range in an area. Ora'war loads for x seconds a shot of precise energy that crosses and deals damage to all the hitted enemies. (like Jhin's E skill). NOTE: This shot will corrupt the terrain around Ora'war Tracing Beam leaves a trail of energy visible to everyone on the map, so it's best to use off enemy territory. Ora'war stay still during loading.

  • W - Call of the Void: Activating this ability outside the Corrupted Terrain area will send a seismic wave around Ora'war, creating an area that will slow enemies that will last for x seconds. By sending a quake, Ora'war can detect nearby enemies within range. Activating this ability on a portal in the Corrupted Terrain will make the portal unstable, allowing Ora'war to transport a bomber from the void, which will attack enemies from a distance x for x seconds. (bomber shots do not corrupt the terrain)

  • E - Fragmentable Shot: Passive - Sharing Hunger: Voidlings that give final attacks to jungle monsters or champions will absorb the experience that Ora'war would get if they were close. Ora'war charges for x seconds and fires an arcing energy ball, upon reaching the ground, the shot will explode and scatter perforating fragments in random directions. Perforating fragments cause bleeding for x seconds. NOTE: The shot will only hit the ground to a minimum distance, so it is not possible to shoot nearby enemies. Ora'war alsto stay still while charging.

  • R - Insatiable Fortress: By activating this ability on a bomber created by Ora'war, he will merge the two bodies to create a moving fortress that will automatically advance towards the lanes and then toward the enemy base. The mobile fortress will attack random enemies around it, the player will also have a bonus of reducing reload time in skills and can conjure while moving, however, these abilities will have a considerably smaller range. Upon being destroyed, Ora'war will be vulnerable again.
