[Rework Suggestion] [Game Mechanics] Vladimir
Initial considerations Vladimir is a pain in the ass to play against, he has a lot of sustain and until today he is used in championships (I think), but I only make these suggestions of rework for mere hobby, because sometimes I feel that certain characters didn't had their concept fully exploited (not that I "think my idea is better and everyone should accept", I prefer to see this more like us talking to our friends that it would be much cooler to see Blitz using a skill that let him shoot laser through his eyes, for example hahahah).
Important Note: I'm not part of the League of Legends balancing team, so everything seems to be op, but that's just a matter of reload time and damage. hehe As I have explored with the concept of sanity, the sane form will be the one that needs the most logic and think a step or two ahead, while the other forms are more aggressive and predatory.
Skills:
Passive - Insatiable Blood: The more Vladimir consumes blood, the more he will feel Hunger. By sucking blood or killing enemies, Vladimir loses accumulations of Sanity. Losing Sanity will increase Vladimir's healing and AP, as well as changing his appearance and abilities. If Vladimir stays too long without feeding himself with blood, he will lose x% of life per second, by spending enough time, he will become more and more Sane and will return to the mental state of the previous form (the less Sanity, the more damage over time Vladimir will suffer, this passive is not able to kill him, but decreases his life significantly, which is useful, but dangerous).
- 100% sanity: Vladimir will be Sane, your skills and appearance will be normal.
- Between 60% and 20%: Vladimir will become Savage, gaining x of movement speed, x of bonus AP and "adaptive healing" (will be cured based on damage done, either ap or ad). (for more information, see Savave skills kit).
- From 20% onwards: Vladimir will become Insane and insatiable, gaining x speed of movement towards enemies, x healing by skill and executing enemies with W - Blood Tide will cause Vladimir 's blood body to penetrate them and explode their bodies, inflicting damage in area around them and he will automatically suck blood from enemy units and jungle monsters to whichhe approach. (for more information, see Insane skill kit). NOTE: This is his most unstable state, so it's a fight against time to attack/kill enemies, and even sucking life from everything around you, it's still not enough to keep him in this state for a long time more because their abilities still consume life).
- Sane - 100% Sanity:
Q - Transfusion: Passive: Vladimir's abilities will cause enemies to leave a Blood Trail on the ground, which can be absorbed to form a shield. Activating a skill while the shield is active will make the skills consume the equivalent shield value instead of Vladimir's life. Vladimir exchanges his old blood for the enemy's new blood, causing damage and slowness and healing over x seconds. NOTE: Passing over the Blood Trail will automatically absorb it.
W - Body of Blood: Vladimir sacrifices x of life to transform his body into blood, becoming invulnerable for x seconds, however, he can still be shot (even if it does not cause damage), throwing parts of his body of blood behind, which can take time to recover your life completely.
E - Hemotrance: Vladimir opens wounds on an enemy and sucks his blood from a distance, inflicting damage over time while he is close to Vladimir. If after x seconds causing damage to the enemy while he is close to Vladimir, the enemy will be in a trance and will move towards you. Activating Blood Body while Hemotrance is being channeled will not interrupt the ability and if Vladimir touches his body of blood on the enemy in a trance, Vladimir will control the body of the enemy for x seconds (with speed movement debuff and able to only give some attacks basics that deal damage based on vladimir's ad [he is unable to use the skills of controled enemies]).
R - Hemomancy: By activating this ability, Vladimir violently forces the blood of enemies from an area, causing damage and creating innumerable wounds on their bodies that cast floating blood bubbles, go through those bubbles will heal Vladimir on x value. After x seconds or when activating the ability again, it will transform the blood bubbles suspended in the air into projectiles that will go towards the mouse, causing damage to crossed enemies.
- Savage - Between 60% and 20% sanity:
Q - Blood Bank: Vladimir sacrifices life and sends a wave of blood that deals damage to enemies on the way, and the healing comes back with the blood wave (healing is greater than sacrificed life).
W - Blood Jet: Vladimir advances in a straight line, transforming his body into blood, becoming invulnerable, if hits a enemy, he will stop his advance and will cause damage and splashing on enemies behind him, also causing damage, becoming a pool of blood soon after. If the enemy has left a Blood Trail behind, Vladimir will follow the trail to reach the enemy (if the trail is too large, Vladimir will stop at a distance equivalent to the distance of the advance). If an ally is receiving damage, Vladimir can advance on it and will allow to use the ability to advance again. NOTE: I thought of protecting the ally in which he advanced, but I do not think that would make much sense in this concept.
E - Hemoforming: Passive: Both enemies and allies who suffer damage will leave Blood Trail behind, which can be collected by Vladimir. By sucking enough blood, Vladimir will turn it into Blood Wings that will block a small percentage of the damage if projectiles hit them first and do extra damage when using basic attacks (Vladimir will use wings to cut enemies). Activating this ability will cause Vladimir to sacrifice life to create blood thorns in a cone-shaped area in front of him. Activating this ability with the accumulated Wings of Blood will cause Vladimir to fly straight, causing damage with his wings.
R - Hemoplague: Vladimir sacrifices life and sends jets of blood that ricochet between enemies, causing damage and creating a rotten blood web between them and after x seconds, deals damage based on the life regenerated by life regeneration (poor Dr.Mundo). Enemies connected to more than 3 webs at the same time will be temporarily snared.
Insane - Below 20% sanity:
Q - Banquet: Vladimir sacrifices life to inflict on-time damage to nearby enemies and heals based on damage done. NOTE: In the description of the passive Insatiable Blood I said that it deals damage and sucks life from enemy units automatically, not included champions.
W - Blood Tide: Vladimir sacrifices life causing his blood body to explode violently, inflicting damage to enemies around him and his body will become a pool of blood, becoming invulnerable for a shorter period of time, but being able to use abilities (which will also sacrifices Vladimir life and will not heal him) and deal damage to the enemies he cross. If Vladimir triggers this ability after receiving a group control (snare/stun), he will sacrifice twice as much life, causing it to automatically become blood and recompose itself behind the enemy that caused group control, but unable to become invulnerable (he doens't get free of group control). NOTE: Insatiable Blood continues to take his life as he is invulnerable to enemy abilities. As said at the beginning, killing enemies with this ability will cause Vladimir to enter their body and blow them inside out in blood, dealing damage to nearby enemies.
E - Dehiscence: Passive: Vladimir's abilities decrease enemy healing by x%. Vladimir sacrifices life and forces the blood of his enemies violently in an area, causing blood waves to leave each of them causing damage in the area around them.
*R - Hemonemesis: Passive: Dying during the cast will allow Vladimir to use abilities for x seconds. Vladimir sacrifices life and sends a wave of blood in a straight line that deals damage and fear on crossed enemies. Vladimir can join the wave of blood and move along with it, having the possibility to change its direction (he still vulnerable to damage). NOTE As you can see, in this last form he does not have so much mobility, after all, it would be the state he would achieve after a team fight or a long battle.
