Craig Hughes, the Contract Hunter
I really wanted to capture the essence of a sniper-esque champion sorta like what you would see in a console game. Craig here is a sniper that utilizes traps and careful positioning to deliver strong shots that can kill easily. Please enjoy and let me know what you guys think!
Craig Hughes, the Contract Hunter
Lore: Craig Hughes is a solitary man who lives a life in the woods. Although originally from Bilgewater, he could not stand the busy nature of the sea drawn town. From Bilgewater, he took his beloved revolver "Mary" and his revered sniper "Jane" into the woods. There, he escaped the noises of the endless ships pulling into port, the drunken sailors who occasionally knocked on his door, the Wharf Rats that gnawed at his house, and so much more. He built himself a small cabin in the quiet, peaceful, woods. There, he would live peacefully, until disturbed by the occasional wild animal, in which he would get up from him chair, grab "Mary" and "Jane" to go hunt down the nuisance. Craig craves to live in the perfect haven for a solitary man, in which he has taken into his own hands to build, but he needs money! Craig utilizes his extreme marksmanship and has become a contract hunter, hunting down many exotic animals... and the occasional human, and only for the right price. Over the years he has built a fierce reputation for himself as "One-Shot Craig" because he promises each of his clients a clean job with only a single shot fired.
Those upon his assassination list are considered to be on.... "Craig's List" (Did you get the joke?)
Appearance: Craig walks around with purpose, not lazily nor hurried. Craig's voice would be very southern and dark... so that he seems like a solitary hunter. Craig appears much like the picture provided by StTheo on DeviantArt (Go check him out!), however, he probably wouldn't be allowed to have a cigar... >.> Perhaps Craig could be friends with Graves? They have the same demeanor.
Additional Info: Craig carries his revolver "Mary" for sentimental reasons... http://www.deviantart.com/art/Pistols-and-Revolvers-259170689
Craig has amazing one-liners... such as "Boom." "Bang." or "One Shot." when he uses his R. Craig also shouts out emotes whenever he lands a critical strike, such as "YEAH!" "One shot, one kill.." "Heh." or "I'm gettin' better!"
Role: Adc
Passive: "Jane" Craig's sniper "Jane" has 700 range Craig must aim down a target, requiring .25 second wind-up (this scales down with attack speed) and cannot be cancelled. (this is very similar to Kallista's passive, however it does not grant additional mobility, its supposed to invoke the sniper-feel of this character)

Q: Two Birds, One Bullet **Cooldown: **10/9/8/7/6 seconds **Cost: **60 Mana Ability Type: Enhanced Auto-Attack Craig loads an FMJ bullet into his rifle, his next auto-attack gain 150 additional range and pierce his target, dealing 40/70/100/130/160 (+100% of total AD) physical damage to those in a narrow, line. This does apply on-hit effects to all targets struck and can critically strike
**W: Headshots Only ** Cooldown: 15 Seconds **Cost: **70 Mana Ability Type: Active Passive: Critical strikes deal 5%/10%/15%/20%/25% more damage (this does stack with runes and IE) Craig gains 5%/10%/15%/20%/25% additional critical strike chance and gains 15/25/35/40/55 attack damage for 5 seconds.
E: Trip-Wire **Cooldown: **25/22/19/16/13 seconds Cost: 65 Mana Ability Type: Target Location [First Cast] Craig stabs a trip-wire into the terrain (either wall or ground). [Second Cast] Craig runs to a target point with 25% bonus movement speed and sets the remaining portion of the trip-wire (the trip-wire is laid out as he runs to the target location.)
The trip-wire takes 2/1.75/1.5/1.25/1 seconds to arm and stealth. Once the trip-wire is laid out and armed, enemies who pass over the trip wire are slowed by 40%/45%/50%/55%/60% for 3 seconds while revealing them. Craig gains up to 3 charges of Trip-Wire. Trip-wire lasts for 5 minutes, can only have 5 in-play at a time, and can be triggered only once.
R: One Shot... Cooldown: 100/80/60 seconds Cost: 100/80/60 Mana Delay: .5 Seconds Ability Type: Skill Shot Craig crouches down and charges up a lethal shot. After .5 seconds, Craig fires, dealing 300/400/500 (+100 percent of bonus AD) damage in a straight line.
Overview:
Craig's passive makes him a REAL sniper. It sort of emphasizes the saying "Choose carefully". You should choose when you shoot carefully, as you are immobile during the wind-up. However, this makes him an amazing long range shooter, he has incredible range, even longer than the original sniper, Caitlyn! Ok, so that's nice and all, but this will allow the feel of a sniper to really come out in Craig. I'm sure all you sniper players would love to play him!
Craig's Q is a his main source of poke damage. Allowing him to strike multiple targets, this can be enhanced if Craig uses his W "Headshots Only" to increase the chance for a critical strike, indirectly causing more damage. You should preferably use this in narrow corridors or tight spaces so you have a better chance of hitting more targets.
Craig's W is his main auto attack steroid, that accompanies of today's adc's. Unlike the others, this focuses on Craig's critical strike components. Like all snipers, a headshot is what they aim for, so to emphasize this, Craig does more damage per critical strike to simulate a "head shot"! Also, this serves as his way to keep stronger and more consistent DPS so that he can almost out-trade other adcs, if he's lucky!
Craig's E is the most fun part of Craig! By setting up Trip-Wire throughout the jungle, you can create areas that are sort of a "hunting ground" for Craig. When you have these set up, you can simply sit and wait, a weary enemy champion comes through, gets slowed, and get sniped by you! I personally made this a two-part cast so that it feels amazing as you set up these traps, almost as if you are actually a hunter! It also gives Craig a small amount of mobility, giving him that speed boost to maybe get out of a sticky situation, or leave behind a trap while fleeing.
Craig's R is his execute and/or game changing ultimate. This is similar to Lux's R "Final Spark, in many ways... I sort of think of it as an AD version of it. However, this will feel completely different, as you crouch down into sniper position to fire this devastating bullet to kill multiple targets! This would be used in a sort of way that Craig would use his W, but only when you need more "bang for your buck".
One of Craig's main weakness is that he must have a set up in order to pull off kills. He'll need to lure people into trip-wire so that he can snipe them from afar. His main strength lies with his sniper, and even then, he is immobile during his windup, making him less effective against multiple targets who can close the gap on him.
A warning against Craig, attack speed may sound attractive, however, do notice that the more attacks you perform, the more time you stay standing still!
