Champion Concept: Rhodes, The Soul-Broker (Version 2.1) -- Contracts

Since my last post I have come up with how to improve his contracts and make his ability kit a little more balanced (I felt like I didn't do that enough last time). I decided to start with his contracts since that is where most of the changes are being done. Upgrading the contracts are now cheaper and more worth it. They have some powerful unique passives and actives that will make it worth your while. No changes have been done to Dealer's Contract, because no changes are needed at the moment.

Contracts > Basic Contract Cost: FREE!!! +100 Health Unique Passive: Profit Protection--20% of all damage dealt to this champion is converted to Rhodes (Range: 2500)

>Specialized Contracts Total Cost: 400 gold

>Longevity Contract Cost: Basic Contract + Ruby Crystal (400 gold) Cloth Armor (300 gold) + 100 gold +20 Armor Unique Passive: Profit Protection--30% of all damage dealt to this champion is converted to Rhodes (Range: 2500) Unique Active: Longevity--Become immune to death for 3 seconds.

>Skill Contract Cost: Basic Contract + Long Sword (350 gold) + 150 50 gold +150 Health +20 Attack Damage Unique Passive: Profit Protection--30% of all damage dealt to this champion is converted to Rhodes (Range: 2500) Unique Active: Skill--All basic attacks within the next 3 seconds are critical strikes, damage increased by critical strike chance.

>Power Contract Cost: Basic Contract + Amplifying Tome (435 gold) Sapphire Crystal (350 gold) + 65 50gold +150 Health + 30 Ability Power +300 Mana Unique Passive: Profit Protection--30% of all damage dealt to this champion is converted to Rhodes (Range: 2500) Unique Active: Power--Restore 30% of missing mana over 3 seconds.

  • 100 120 Ability Power + 10% Cool Down Reduction Unique Passive: Profit Protection--50% of all damage dealt to this champion is converted to Rhodes (Range: 2500) Unique Active: Power--Restore 30% of missing mana over 3 seconds.

In case you haven't noticed, I made the core concept of Rhodes' old ult Soul Loan into the unique active effect for the Longevity Contracts. This is because the whole effect of the ult was too much, but the core concept was perfect for the longevity contract.

I also decided to give each contract the passive effect of Rhodes' E. This is because the only part of this ability that really works for Rhodes is the passive effect. I couldn't come up with a better active so I decided to just make move it to the contracts.

Edit: The Contract's Unique Active effects have a 120 second cool down.

I will later make another post that explains the changes I made to his ability kit. As you may have already guessed there will be at least 2 new abilities, but they may not be what you think. Keep an eye out for a the abilities.
