Marvin the Mech Bee. ( Champion Concept)
Well, got bored, listened to my siblings crazy imagination, and came up with something cool! Marvin the Mech Bee, my siblings started to talk about how League doesn’t really have a good Bee champion, and I thought to myself: “ You know…. actually, they really don’t! This….This actually could become a thing!” And, after brainstorming, came up with something pretty cool. Hope you guys like it!
Appearance: Marvin wears a grey mech suit, flashing yellow lights line his chest, fire can be seen shooting out of his feet as he flies around the battlefield, a stinger is painted on the middle of his chest, and bright, yellow circles glow on his palms. His voice is fairly robotic, though he isn’t robot, he’s human, he’s a sarcastic, arrogant, smug, little genius, constantly mocking and making fun of everything.
Passive: Too Much Honey. Whenever Marvin casts an ability, his next ability will do more damage, this effect stacks itself, for every stack he gains more damage for his next ability, movement speed, AS, and basic attack damage. Every 5 stacks he gains a special effect for each of his abilities, once he uses that special effect for one of the abilities, the others will still stay, unlike Rengar. This gives Marvin marvelous burst potential. ( Lol, I just saw what I did there.) Once Marvin uses all his special effects up, the more damage for the next ability effect is consumed and starts over again. Marvin has no limit of stacks, it is just until 5 stacks that he gains a special effect for his abilities, which means that Marvin will have to cast a spell eventually.
First: Sticky Bomb. Marvin dishes out a black and yellow bomb, Marvin has control of when it explodes. If enemies get close to it, Marvin’s screen will flash red making an alarm sound, and he can trigger it. Marvin can place 6 of these down. The bomb will become invisible a few seconds after it is placed. The bomb also has honey explode everywhere, not flames. If the bomb explodes under an enemy, it will deal 180/220/240/260/280 (+ 80% AP) damage, and slows by 30% for 2 seconds. If Marvin does not trigger it when enemies are near it, the bomb will become attached to them and will suddenly become visible to enemies. Enemies near their ally that is victim to the Sticky Bomb, will also take the same amount of damage as it would normally. So victims must be careful not to go close to their team. Marvin can use this to deadly effect by tossing out multiple Sticky Bombs in the middle of a team fight where everyone is packed together. Because of the passive, Marvin will stack the damage on his bombs, meaning, the more he casts them, and the more enemies that are victim to the Sticky bomb, it will deal that much more damage. Special Effect: (See passive) Marvin’s Sticky Bombs have a larger blast radius and slow by 35% instead of 30%. Range: 1200. Cooldown: After all Sticky Bombs have been placed, he needs to wait 8 seconds to place more. Once he does, it replaces the ones he’s already placed down. Cost: 20/30/40/50/60 Mana.
Second: Lightem up! A large line of black and yellow missiles with stingers painted on them come out of the armored battle suit. Marvin can target any area within a 1800 range with these missiles. Once activated, the missiles launch themselves at the targeted area. On contact these missiles explode, ( in a shower of sizzling honey of course) dealing 230/260/290/320/350 (+ 60% AP) damage to enemies nearby. The explosion also slows for 25%. Each missile is launched individually, after 6 missiles have been launched, the cooldown begins. Special Effect: ( See passive) Marvin’s missiles become Warheads, dealing twice the damage and in a larger blast radius. However Marvin can only launch 3 missiles with this Special Effect. Range: 1300. Cost: 50/60/70/80/90 Mana. Cooldown: 12 seconds.
Third: Honey Powered Blast. Marvin takes out a gun with a bee’s nest attached to the end, winding up for a shot. After a few seconds the gun unleashes a blast of sizzling honey dealing 200/215/230/245/260 (+ 70% AP) damage to enemies in a 100 area radius of Marvin. After the gun fires Marvin is launched into the air, giving him boosted movement speed for 6 seconds. On contact the blast also stuns for 2.5 seconds. Special Effect: ( See passive) On contact the blast does much more damage, and after Marvin is in the air, he can reactivate his ability to dash forward in a straight line. Range of dash: 800. Cost: 35/45/55/65/75 Mana. Cooldown: 6 seconds.
Ultimate: Swarm Bombs. Marvin takes out a massive gun filled with giant Sticky Bombs, firing at a targeted area. On contact these bombs will stick to their targets, or the ground. Marvin can reactivate this ability to detonate the bombs. Once he detonates the bombs, they explode, dealing 400/500/600 ( + 80% of AP) damage to all enemies nearby. Additionally, after the bombs explode, smaller bombs appear around the originals. Marvin can activate this ability up to 4 times, the AOE expanding each time. Note: the bombs only do that amount of damage on the initial blast, not on the others. The first time Marvin detonates the bombs it stuns the enemies for 3 seconds. Special Effect: ( See passive) Marvin may activate this ability 6 times instead of four. Cost: 700 Mana. Cooldown: 125 seconds. Range: 1350.
