Yuley, the Elemental Fox

Yuley is a pure fox that will be a range mage, but starts out the game being melee. So the catch, besides being a true fox, is that he has to purchase one of three elemental essences from the shop that cost 100 essences each, but once you consume an essence of magic for that game you are permanently locked in to your choice for the rest of that game, so choose wisely to what you need the most! Fire is for a true damage burn, electricity (lightning) adds a brief paralyze which is similar to a stun to your damaging spells, and water is for healing properties if you need both self-sustain and if you want to heal your allies!

Somewhat of a lore: "That Ahri, I don't know what the other foxes see in her. She prances around being all cutesy and pretends to be nice, sure she may look good at the outside, but at the inside I can tell that she is rotten to the very core... how despicable of a fox! Not to mention that she has this crazy idea of wanting to become a human, like why would you ever want to become one of those clumsy and unintelligent creatures, besides they are so ugly, and they cannot even use magic; unlike us foxes who are adorable, fluffy, intelligent, and know how to use magic."

"So Ahri is going around the village saying she found someway to become a human! How preposterous of an idea! A fox become a human? Do not even get me started, there is no known magic that can possibly do that... well, there may be one way, but that will never happen, and who knows what price they will charge to do it if they consider doing it."

"So she did it, she actually became a filthy human, what a foolish girl that Ahri is. My question is what did she give up for it? Whatever, as long as it does not concern me or affect me it does not matter, but boy that Ahri will regret never being a fox ever again in the near future."

"The humans attacked our village! Our home is completely destroyed and many foxes died, the humans may be filfthy and stupid, but they would never attack us unless something happened, and I think I know why they attacked us too..."

"So my assumptions were correct, that stupid traitorous Ahri sold us out, she sacrificed her own village in order to become a human. So now not only did she completely reject the notion of being a fox and betrayed us entirely. That Ahri will pay for this, a traitorous fox deserves a traitorous end, I will hunt her down and make her feel the pain she inflicted onto us before giving what she deserves."

"Ahri will not get away from this! Once I catch up to her, then she will DIE for what she has done!"

Basic attack range: 125 units [melee]; 550 units [range] once you become an elemental fox Stats: For simplicity sake, Yuley will have similar stats to a normal range mage.

A Fox's Decision (Passive): [Changes to Lightning Fox / Fire Fox / Aquatic Fox based on what essence was consumed] Essence of magic will randomly spawn across the map that remain for up to 15 minutes that Yuley may pick up in order to use to purchase one of three elements. Once he becomes an elemental fox each essence of magic will grant Yuley small gains when he picks them up based on what element he is.

Yuley may purchase a special consumable item from the shop that costs 100 essences of magic that is called "Essence of Water", "Essence of Lightning", and "Essence of Fire". Only one essence may be purchased and consumed which once consumed will permanently transform Yuley into a fox of that essence's element to grant special effects to his damaging abilities based on what element he is and increases his basic attack range by 425 units.

Aquatic Fox: Yuley's abilities heal himself for 4%(+1% per 100AP) of his target's maximum health, one-third of the value for multi-target abilities. Additionally, Yuley's area of effect abilities heal struck allies for 40 plus 2%(+1% per 100AP) of their maximum health. Each essence of magic permanently grants Yuley 10 Mana.

Lightning Fox: Yuley's abilities briefly paralyze struck enemies for 0.25 second. Each essence of magic permanently grants Yuley 1 bonus movement speed. Paralyze cannot be reduced by Tenacity and increases by 0.1 second for every 1000 health the target has.

Fire Fox: Yuley's abilities burn struck enemies for 1.5 seconds dealing 6%(+1% per 100AP) of the target's maximum health as true damage over the duration (maximum of 150 damage against monsters). Each essence of magic permanently grants Yuley 0.5 Ability Power.

Tail Strike (Q): Cooldown: 5/4/3/2/1 second(s); Cost: 50 Mana; Range: 725 units Passive: Once Tail Strike is no longer on cool down Yuley will form a visible, illusionary tail every 5/4.75/4.5/4.25/4 seconds up to a maximum of 8 illusionary tails at one time to deal 20/25/30/35/40(+17%AP) additional magic damage to his target for every illusionary tail that was consumed.

Active: Yuley strikes his target with his tail and any illusionary tails he may have to deal (+80/90/100/110/120%base AD)(+14%AP) physical damage and consume all illusionary tails that were created. If Tail Strike directly executes its target then 35 Mana is refunded and the current illusionary tails do not get consumed.

The total damage of Tail Strike cannot exceed 30/32.5/35/37.5/40% of an enemy champion's maximum health.

Elemental Avenge (W): Cooldown: 10 seconds; Cost: 100 Mana; Range: 1000 units; Aura: 1400 units Yuley forms an orb of elemental magic from the tears and suffering his enemies afflicted on his allies sending the orb to the target location to deal true damage equal to a value of the damage nearby ally champions took. Maximum true damage is 200/275/350/425/500(+100%AP). This damage cannot exceed 30/32.5/35/37.5/40% of an enemy champion's maximum health.

If Yuley is currently an elemental fox then the elemental bonus will always apply regardless to whether or not Elemental Avenge does damage.

Magical Leap (E): Cooldown: 0.25 second; Cost: 60 Mana + 1 Charge; Range: 325 units; Radius: 400/450/500/550/600 units Yuley leaps in the target direction and then twirls around one time when he lands releasing magical energy to deal 20/25/30/35/40(+15%AP) plus 4/4.5/5/5.5/6%(+1% per 50AP) of the unit's maximum health as magic damage to all enemies around him, deals quadruple damage against minions (maximum of 150/175/200/225/250(+15%AP) damage against monsters).

Yuley forms 1 charge every 24/22.5/21/19.5/18 seconds up to a maximum of 3 charges at one time.

Deceive then Strike (R): Cooldown: 140/90/40 seconds; Cost: 100 Mana; Radius: 2000 units Passive: Tail Strike's illusionary tails creation time is reduced by 1/2/3 seconds. Magical Leap's charges are increased by an additional 1/4/7.

Yuley will instantly stealth for up to 6 seconds creating 20/25/30 identical, motionless, and harmless foxes made of magical smoke randomly placed in a large area around Yuley. Whenever an enemy champion deals damage to one of these foxes the fox will disappear into a puff of smoke and stun the champion for 1.25/1.5/1.75 seconds (does not stack for damaging more than one fox at the same time). If Yuley was attacked with a champion basic attack 1 second after going into stealth then he will no longer be under stealth, all foxes will disappear into a puff of smoke, and stun that champion for 2.5/3/3.5 seconds.

If Yuley deals damage to an enemy while stealth then he is instantly no longer in stealth and all foxes will go into a puff of smoke to do nothing.

Note: the recharge rates may be lowered with cooldown reduction.

I think this champ is broken. The passives provided by the magic stones are just too strong. You could basically permastun an enemy and kill them. You have a strong true damage burn. You have great sustain. How will you ever die unless you are shut down early and completely focused by the enemy team?

The stun duration should be reduced since you have a guaranteed stun so it is pretty broken to get something like that. If you build full AP (i'm assuming a build like Ahri ) so you will get so much damage or healing from the passive alone.

Also Magical Leap shouldn't have a charge system, seeing as it is somewhat similar to Nidalee pounce. Everyone hates her right? So with a charge system she can basically jump 6 times at max rank and literally escape anything. If you're going for a charge system, stick to a max of two.

However this concept is very unique and I like how interesting it is.

EDIT: A Fox's Decision: Each elemental effect has gone through balance changes, mainly to focus better on Yuley being a hyper mage, and focus on her role to be a late game tank buster that kites really well dancing about with Magical Leap rather than being an assassin which is something I want to avoid is an assassin playstyle.

Aquatic Fox: No longer heals for a value equal to 25% of the spell's damage value; but now will heal herself for 4%(+1% per 100AP) of her target's maximum health and one-third the value for area of effect abilities. The ally heal for allies being struck in the radius of her area of effect abilities are now healed for 40 plus 2%(+1% per 100AP) of their maximum health.

Lightning Fox: Damaging abilities no longer stun for 0.75 second; but now a new unique crowd control is created which is paralyze to be weaker against squishies and stronger against tanks/bruisers. The paralyze duration is 0.25 second plus 0.1 second per 1000 health the target has and cannot be reduced by Tenacity (the health value will round up and down to the nearest thousand just like every other thing in the game to decide on the paralyze duration).

Fire Fox: No longer deals 33% of the ability's damage value as true damage over 1.5 seconds; but now damaging abilities deal 6%(+1% per 100AP) of the target's maximum health as true damage over 1.5 seconds.\

as a reminder and clarification, only one magic stone is allowed per game passively and is permanent for the rest of the game once the magic stone is consumed (if not consumed you can sell it for a different magic stone), only time you get all 3 elements at the same time is during your ultimate's duration.

Tail Strike: Cooldown lowered to 4/3.25/2.5/1.75/1 second(s) from 4/3.5/3/2.5/2 Cost lowered to 50 from 60 Mana Total damage now cannot exceed 25/27.5/30/32.5/35% of the target's maximum health this change is the biggest factor to discourage an assassin play style and have Yuley be a tank buster hyper mage Per illusionary tail damage increased to 17% from 15%; Tail Strike physical damage lowered to 14% from 30%AP this remains with 150%AP for the full power Tail Strike, and is technically a buff since the damage type is more efficient with more magic damage and less physical damage, spam damage is lowered but only because of my Lightning Fox change and having the cooldown 1 second at max rank so that the constant micro stunning (paralyzing) to a single target is minimal damage and waiting on her illusionary tails does not allow for constant single target paralyzing; so overall a change to allow for better gameplay against Yuley

Magical Leap: Cooldown lowered to 0.25 from 0.5 second Cost increased to 50/55/60/65/70 from 50 Mana Charge creation increased to 24/22.5/21/19.5/18 from 12/11.5/11/10.5/10 seconds Charges increased to 3/4/5/6/7(+1/2/3) from 2/3/4/5/6 Flat AP ratio reduced to 15% from 25% Now deals quadruple damage to minions.

Elemental Trinity: The passive gains an additional effect that increases Magical Leap's charges maximum by an additional 1/2/3. so maximum charges can be 3/4/5/6/7/8/9/10 charges at one time, meaning if you wait and store up a bunch of charges at once in the very late game you become super mobile leaping everywhere; cooldown for the recharge rate is greatly increased to better emphasize the waiting Yuley has to do in order to achieve insane mobility, because without waiting you basically become a very immobile mage.

Sounds pretty cool. I'd love running around the Rift fkn people's day up as an OP Eevee.

2 things, again. The rock part seems to fit with someone like Taric better, as he is all about magic rocks, and this would be a good rework for Ahri, making her start as a magical fox and evolving into a fox girl by the end of the game. I mean they already have the same ults.

The stones are cool and stuff, but I don't really see the point in them... People would just pick the one they liked the best every game. I think it would be better if you made their effects a little more niche, like maybe being designed to shut down certain types of opponents. (fast healers / ones with lots of armor / crowd control heavy champs / ect)

Also I wouldn't make Yuley a girl, that's Ahri schtick. Instead I would make him a sly, cunning, gingerbread man eating, grape appraising, boy fox.

And instead of stones (eevee anyone?) have his items be called tricks or essences. He should either get his choice of tricks at the start of the game, or have a more meaningful way of acquiring them other then just spending gold. Maybe some sort of mini collecting game like Gangplank?

Q: Okay... My one gripe would be the 9 tail thing. (you will make Ahri sad)

W: Odd skill... I don't really see how it fits in with the rest of the kit. Mobility? he/she has PLENTY of that with magical leap. Deception? you already said that people can easily tell it's fake. All I see anyone using this for is as an unnecessary engage because you can't switch if you have taken damage.

E: Holy cow that is a lot of mobility! Sure he/she needs to ration it to let it build up but still! In my opinion you should cut it down to 1/2/3/4/5 charges and keep the recharge time constant across all ranks.

R: I don't think Yuley needs the passive portion of the ult. Well the Q buff might work out... maybe. As for the active I'm hesitant. I think that the passives would be less special/meaningful if you could have them all at going once. Plus it would be a harder to balance them against each other, if you also had to balance them with each other. However I don't have any ideas of what it could be replaced with...

What ever... those are my thoughts. I hope you find them useful.

EDIT: I just noticed that he/she doesn't have any poke skills. Was that intentional, if so why?

A lot of changes:

EDIT: Other: Yuley is now a male, decided the kit makes more sense for Yuley to be a boy, plus I will come up with a lore in a future date that is fitting for Yuley to be a male fox that kind of makes him a somewhat leadership role and a male personality (I have a rough idea of what I am going to do with it right now, I just do not want to write it up at this current time).

A Fox's Decision: No longer buys magical stones, but now they are essence of elements, this overall is still the same just renamed to something different. The change is now instead of buying an essence with gold you buy it with 100 essence of magic which an essence of magic will randomly spawn on the map and last for up to 15 minutes until Yuley picks it up, similar to the Bard mini-game, you cannot exceed 100 essence of magic as a non-elemental fox, and an essence of magic does not do anything but act like currency to become an elemental fox. Once you are a permanent fox the 100 essence of magic are spent so you go back to zero and the essence of magic will grant very tiny permanent bonuses based on your element; lightning is +1 movement speed, fire is +0.5 AP, water is +10 Mana.

Tail Strike: Cooldown up'd to 5/4/3/2/1 from 4/3.25/2.5/1.75/1 second Illusionary Tail cooldown increased to 5/4.75/4.5/4.25/4 from 4 seconds Damage increased to 80/90/100/110/120% base AD from 60/75/90/105/120% Now refunds 40 Mana (cost is 50 Mana) and does not consume illusionary tails when Tail Strike executes its target (this is a last hitting mechanic for the early game, especially since Yulay is melee early game) Cap damage against champions increased to 30/32.5/35/37.5/40% from 25/27.5/30/32.5/35% of the champion's maximum health; also stated this is only capped against champions was never meant to be capped against minions or monsters

Elemental Avenge: Fox of Illusion is removed, and Elemental Avenge has been added; completely new spell - this spell (without including element bonuses) is a useless spell when Yuley is by himself since you can only deal damage whenever a nearby ally champion takes damage and does not apply to himself taking damage this spell will go with his lore a little bit

Magical Leap: Cost adjusted to 60 from 50/55/60/65/70 Mana Charges reduced to 3 from 3/4/5/6/7(8/9/10), but the maximum charges are still 3/4/7/10, his ultimate now gives more charges to help keep the mobility within a late game spot

Deceive then Strike: Elemental Trinity is removed; this is a completely new spell, the passive is still the same however, with the Tail Strike illusionary tail change the base cooldown is now reduced by 1/2/3 seconds instead of lowering the value to 3/2/1 second, the tail recharge rate is still the same late game This new ultimate is basically a counter attack ultimate trying to trick your opponent to attack the fake foxes made out of smoke; it is also utility based and does not apply elemental bonuses since it cannot deal damage; very long stun duration if you have true vision and consciously basic attack Yuley while he is stealth which makes him no longer stealth and makes all the foxes of magic smoke to disappear, this is a "take one for the team" mechanic of instead of granting a porential AoE stun a tank can attack Yuley with true vision to ensure his teammates cannot become accidently stunned (since there a lot of foxes randomly placed within an area around Yuley when she first stealth)

Stacona8/10/2015, 6:56:04 PM1 votes

added a lore for Yuley; I am not the best with creating lores so let me know what you think... also, DOWN WITH AHRI!!!

Tail Strike's mana refund on direct executes lowered to 35 from 40 Mana
