Champ Concept: Ax'Locea the Void Swimmer
We need an Ocean Born Void character. In Nami's lore it is her people's job to defend the world from a rift connecting Rune Terra to the void, I think we need something that made it out of that. First off, i want it to be cute, like, super cute. If possible I want it to be based off of an Axolotl https://futurism.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/11/axolotl.jpg It should, in my opinion however, not be so super evil I want to eat/destroy everything like other void monsters. It should just want to swim, which, obviously, would be more fun in the oceans of Runeterra. My concept is this:
Passive: Void Swimmer: When out of combat for 5/4/3 or more seconds Ax'Locea's swimming opens a small rift to the void, granting him Void Bound. When Void Bound is active, Ax'Locea is able to tap into his true powers as a void creature, and this effect shows in his abilities. All abilities gain -50% CD, but 50% increase mana cost while remaining out of combat, in addition, they each gain an additional effect. Upon entering combat, Ax'Locea's next ability will still be affected by Void Bound.
Q : Aqua Jet: Ax'Locea dashes to an enemy champion displacing and damaging all units between them. Q : Void Bound Aqua Jet: Ax'Locea dives into the void, becoming intargetable, and emerges at the targeted champion's location, knocking up all enemies.
W : Aquatic Convergence : Ax'Locea creates a large aoe zone, slowing enemies within, while granting allies a movement speed boost. W : Void Bound Aquatic Convergence: The zone now blinds enemies, and, when Ax'Locea is inside it as well, it deals damage over time.
E : Little Wanderer - Toggle : Ax'Locea leaves a trail where ever he goes. When not on this trail, Ax'Locea becomes excited, gaining a movement speed buff. When on the trail, he becomes bored, losing the same amount of movement speed. The trail lasts for 10/15/20 seconds. When toggled off it does nothing, when toggled on it damages enemies over time. E : Void Bound Little Wanderer : When void bound is active, your team is granted vision of the trail, and are granted the movement speed buff while traveling it.
R : Deep Sea Swimmer - Active: A torrential whirlpool is formed around Ax'Locea, damaging enemies with steadily increasing damage over time. R : Void Bound Deep Sea Swimmer - Active : The area of the whirlpool which holds Ax'Locea becomes fog of war to the enemy. R : Void Bound Deep Sea Swimmer - Passive : Ax'Locea's vision is not inhibited by terrain, although only he is able to see this, his teammates cannot, it's up to him to tell them when danger is nearby.
Tips: For playing: Ax'Locea is very much an initiator champion, try to find the perfect combo of void bound abilities to give your team early advantages in teamfights. While he does want to get up in the enemy's face, he is not a tank, try to stay safe, and don't stay in a fight for too long. Ax'Locea's Little Wanderer trail is visible to enemies as well as allies. Try to use it to set up a bait. Also, try not to wander over your trail, it will slow you down a lot. Try to plan out your movement ahead of time, he's built to go in, not escape.
For fighting: Ax'Locea grants his team a lot of aoe cc, try to get rid of him as quick as possible. Try to force Ax'Locea to double back on his trail, he's much easier to catch then. His trail is visible to both allies and enemies, if you're wandering where he went, try following it- but be weary, it could be a trap. When he ults, just because you can't see him, doesn't mean you can't hit him with aoe and skill shots.
