Astra, the Exiled Aspect (Champion Concept: WIP)
I do plan on updating this champion idea as time goes on
So, I have been reading up Riot's ways of how they create a champion. Things like how they chose a name, how their lore is based, etc. With those things in mind, I decided to have a central focus for this champion. It is this: "Dark" Aspect of Targon, has relations to
, mage + invisibility, name with power and follows other female targonic characters. I think I accomplished my goal. Also, I have been holding off on this idea until just recently with the release of
. It would have been out sooner, but I had a lot of tweaking to do. :D
Name: Astra (this name achieved other goals which were to have it reference space, namely stars and such, her title, however, may or may not change)
Lane: MID (however, I think she would be an okay jungle)
Rivals:
(Aurelion Sol is the only one Astra truly hates, other aspects or members of Targon, she just dislikes).

Quick Lore/Background:
Astra was one of the members of Silver City (where

would craft while Astra destroyed. They lived in balance creating new life from new death. However, one day, Astra's thirst for power grew. She wanted the powers of the universe for herself, and her alone. She tried to rise against
, she would have won if it weren't for her dark desires, she wanted to see watch

was able to defeat her and imprison her in a celestial prison between the fabrics of space and time. It was there that she slept for hundreds of thousands of years...
(Speed forwards to today in the lore)
, the messenger has come to warn the people of Runeterra that the Exiled Lady has broken free of her imprisonment and is coming to claim Runeterra has her own, however,
is ignoring her duties and is instead obsessing over the beauty of Runeterra (
) and eating chocolate mooncakes.

Passive: Celestial Imprisonment
After landing 3 abilities or attacks, Astra polymorphs her target(s) into a dying star/moon/sun (it will be random and only serves a cosmetic effect) that cannot attack, use abilities, or move for 2 seconds.
(The focus here was that I wanted to pull from her lore but also be able to have this interact with her ultimate).
Edit: Forgot to mention, the "marks" that allow her to execute her passive on people only last 2 seconds, they refresh when a new mark is added.

Q: Dawn to Dusk
Range: 1000
Mana: 40/55/70/85/100
Cooldown: 14/12.5/11/9.5/8 seconds
Astra tosses out a trail of cosmic dust that deals 40/90/140/190/240 (+60% AP) magical damage and applies near-sight for 1/1.25/1.5/1.75/2 seconds to all targets the dust touches.
(Near-sight is like Graves' smoke grenade [His E I think?])

W: Twilight Cloak [This name is due to change because it is similar to Akali's Twilight Shroud
Range: 1 (Self-Buff)
Mana: 60/75/90/105/120
Cooldown: 25/22/19/16/13 seconds
Cloak priming: 1.25 seconds
Astra wraps herself in a cloak made of space and time that allows to vanish from sight and grants her camouflage. If she successfully cloaks herself, she is granted the ability to apply an AoE effect to her next ability, item active, or basic attack that deals 35/70/105/140/175 (+30% AD)(+50% AP) bonus magical damage. If Astra kills someone while camouflage or within 1.5 seconds of exiting stealth, Twilight Cloak's cooldown will be completely refreshed. (The AoE effect will proc around the first enemy unit hit with her next ability, item active, or basic attack)
Note: Camouflaged people will "shimmer" if they are hit by abilities or step on traps (like Jhin's Lotus Trap). Additionally, during a target's "vanishing" stage they are completely untargetable. This is present in
's Ultimate. If you need an example of camouflage, think
. While she is camouflaged, she can use defensive item actives (i.e.
) and priming spells, however any form of offensive attack (made by her) will end her camouflage or if revealed by
or
(and its upgraded version).
Counterplay: If Astra is damaged while the cloak is forming, her cloak will cancel and go on cooldown. Kind of like
. Also, if Astra's stealth is broken and she hasn't used the bonus damage, she will only have 1.5 seconds to use it after her stealth ends.

Placing Range: 975
Range of shape (diameter): 250 units
Mana: 80/85/90/95/100
Cooldown: 16/14/12/10/8 seconds (cooldown starts after the ability finishes priming)
Astra primes an area with celestial magic. After 1.25 seconds, Astra calls down a star to strike an area for 40/80/120/160/200 (65% AP) magic damage. If the target(s) is/are standing within the center of spell, they will be knocked in the air for .75 seconds.

R: The Wrath of the Exiled Aspect
Range: 750
Mana: 100/100/100
Cooldown: 140/110/80 seconds
Astra send out a pulse that targets all polymorphed units effected by Celestial Imprisonment. The pulse deals 200/250/300 (+50% AP)(1 magical damage per 1 missing health).
Note: There would be cooler animations than what is written here. I was thinking that they struck by something for cosmetic effect. Also, the focus of this ability was to include the passive and her background. Astra likes to destroy suns, moons, and stars which is what her passive turns people into, but Astra enjoys destroying people when they are at their weakest, which is what her passive provides and her abilities and their damage.

As far as making a champion goes, I have the basis down (name, abilities, location, background). I will be adding the (other) gameplay aspects later into the creation (stats, mainly but also the interactions and other things like that :D ). Any how, let me know what you think!

These are my recommend items for some reasons.
GB - Applies W bonus AoE effect, stacks passive, and benefits scaling on W.
LB - Increases the burst from a successful W (if used on a basic attack).
LT - The burn effect applies only 1 stack of her passive as well as allows her to deal more damage. Also, LT does apply the AoE effect from her W.
VS - Better Magic Pen.
MN - Allows her stop people from healing, good cdr, etc.
SS - More Magic Pen.
RD - LOTS of magic damage.
LE - The "echo" effect applies her passive to more targets.
You could use things like
to better land abilities and
for protection.

Domination + Sorcery
Domination:
Electrocute for crazy good burst damage.
Sudden impact works with her W.
Zombie ward because of the free vision in lane.
Ravenous hunter because of the healing and how it pairs nicely with the healing from
.
Sorcery:
Manaflow Band - Free mana sustain in lane.
Absolute Focus - More damage when you are above X health %. The healing from Gunblade and Ravenous Hunter will allow her to accomplish this nicely.
Add charge only on Abilities or Item actives. This is because full AS build with
would be broken as hell.
Also add some CD timer per champion.
