Name: Miranda Rishard - The Rogue of Demacia Age: mid 30s Race: Human (With ties to some elven race if Rito has that) Gender: Female Resource: Grace, Starts at 200, gains 100 per point in ultimate, capping out at 500 at level 16
She does not scale in Armor, Magic Resist, or damage per level Her attack speed is high base, increases quickly. She only gains 2/3 of all crit chance, (example) Phantom Dancer gives 30%, she'd gain 20% Also her crits are 20% weaker, as a tradeoff she has higher base damage and attack speed
The only item worth building is a Triforce + IE then full tank with CDR (as an example. Not final product)
Hidden Passive - +1 max hp whenever another sword user is on the field (cumulative)
Passive: The Sharper Blade 10% of her total damage dealt to MINIONS and 20% of her damage to CHAMPIONS is put into her resource pool (Grace)
Also deals 2.5/5/7.5/10/12.5/15% additional true damage to sword users (Riven, Fiora, Tryndamere, Garen, Master Yi etc) or an equal amount of physical damage to any other type of weapon/champion
Q: Metal Flurry Costs 20 Grace at all ranks Does a series of 1/3/5/7/9 strikes each in three separate small areas around herself to her left, front, then right, she is rooted for the duration (1 second) This deals 125/100/80/70/60% of her total Attack Damage per hit Cooldown: 16/15/14/13/12 Blinds and Silences can stop this ability
W: Quickstep Gives 5/10/15/20/25 Grace Takes an immediate dash in your mouses direction, breaking free of all crowd control except roots, silences, interrupts and suppressions. This can move through terrain. Using this cuts your Cooldown on your Q in half (maximum, not current) Cooldown: 18/16/14/12/10
E: Brutal Swing Cost: All of her current Grace Using the force of her blade's sweep, after a brief .15 second channel she stuns in a small reverse crescent in front of herself for .5/.7/.9/1.1/1.25 +.025 of a second per 10 points of grace expended this way seconds dealing 30/50/70/90/110 + 50% of her current Grace, + 55% of her total Attack Damage 15 second cooldown at all ranks This ability does not give her any grace based on it's damage, as she forgoes any grace for a single brutal hit. silences can stop this ability, but does not refund the grace-cost
R: Rogues Wisdom For 30/45/60 seconds, Miranda pulls out a smaller, magical, dagger in her off-hand, doubling her attackspeed (this cannot break the 2.5 hardcap), as she attacks with her with amazing Grace and Finesse and applying additional effects/different animations with her prior abilities, this costs 100/200/300 Grace to activate. This applies all passives Cooldown: 5 seconds
AFTER USING HER ULTIMATE
Her grace begins to drain at a rate of 1 per .2 seconds (not 5 per second, but the total is 5 per second, the logic is for the attacks concerning your current grace. Every point counts. Jumping by 5's gives too big of an exploitation window)
Passive: The Sharpest Blade 15% of her total damage dealt to MINIONS and 25% of her damage to CHAMPIONS is put into her resource pool (Grace) - being CC'd triples the rate at which it decreases ONLY WHILE THE CC IS ACTIVE. Also being stunned, drains an immediate 25 grace, disrupted drains an immediate 50 grace, and suppressed drains an immediate 100 grace. Upon reaching 0 grace, OR the time limit, her ultimate expires. Should her grace run out/timer hit 0, all cooldowns are KEPT, they do NOT reset Attacks with her offhand weapon (Magical Dagger) deal 1/2/3% of enemies CURRENT life 3 times over 3 seconds, and healing 1/2/3% of her missing health 3 times over 3 seconds
Q: Metal Flurry Costs 0 Grace at all ranks Does a series of 1/3/5/7/9 strikes each in three separate small areas around herself to her left, front, then right, she is rooted for the duration (1 second) This deals 0/0/0/0/0 + 125/100/90/80/70% of her total Attack Damage per hit. Cooldown: 16/15/14/13/12 This applies a stacking 5/10/15% slow, stacking up to 3 times, to a cap of 45% This also applies a 2/3/4% of current HP Bleed 3 times over 3 seconds, stacking up to 3 times, any further application of stacks refreshes the 3rd stack (implied her magical dagger rending flesh while the sword parries) Blinding and silences will stop this ability!
W: Quickstep Gives 5/10/15/20/25 Grace Takes an immediate dash in your mouses direction, breaking free of all crowd control except roots, silences, interrupts and suppressions This can move through terrain. Using this cuts your Q's Cooldown in half (maximum, not current) Cooldown: 18/16/14/12/10 This applies a 65% of BASE movement speed increase that decays rapidly over 3 seconds down to 15% at the 2nd second, then holds for the last 15% for the last second which falls off immediately after.
E: Brutal Swing 25% of current grace Using the force of her blade's sweep, followed by a pirouette of her magical dagger after a brief .15 second channel she stuns in a small reverse crescent in front of herself for .5/.7/.9/1.1/1.25 +.1 of a second per 10 points of grace expended this way seconds, dealing 70/90/110/130/150 + 50% of her current Grace, + 55% of her total Attack Damage 15 second cooldown at all ranks This ability does not give her any grace based on it's damage, as she forgoes any grace for a single brutal combo. This also reduces all BONUS armor and magic resistance by 25% to each enemy champion hit. As her magical dagger rends armor and clothing Silences will stop this ability, but does not refund the Grace cost
R: Swordmasters Strength: only activated with Rogues Wisdom Cost - None After channeling for 1 second Miranda begins whipping around in a graceful, furious dance. Miranda Lashes out at all targets within range of her, (500 units) hitting them all in waves of damage within her dance. As she dances, her movementspeed is decreased by 10%, however she attacks every .5 seconds for 5 seconds (good luck actually lasting that long.) Each of these attacks deals 25/50/75 + 30% of total attack damage + 50% (minimum of 50) of her REMAINING Grace every attack, this drains the grace upon use, for maximum effectiveness, use at max Grace, once Grace runs out, her stance returns to normal, however her cooldowns DO NOT refresh SHE CAN USE QUICKSTEP WHILE CHANNELING THIS ABILITY. SILENCES WILL NOT STOP THIS ABILITY This ability does NOT provide Grace, based on her damage dealt (as that would be broken AF)
How to counterplay Rule number 1, watch her grace bar! translate that bar, into a timer, and that's how long you'll be stunned! Pay attention to her grace!
Step 1: Deny her grace There's many ways to do this, firstly and foremost, she'd lose to someone like renekton, who can EWQE, forcing her to waste her stun to peel him off her, wasting all her grace just to deal back some damage, otherwise renekton gets a free trade. This prevents her from using (R) Rogues Wisdom
Step 2: Poke from afar. She has only one dash, and it's on a very long cooldown early on. Use this to your advantage, Ryze, Vlad, Rumble, Yorick, Malzahar, Brand - that means you!
Step 3: Get a gank, even one! Once Miranda's flash is down you only need to worry about her single dash, It's about twice the length of a riven dash, so it's pretty easily readable. She doesn't have any other escape other than STUN 'N RUN! If she has no grace, the stun won't last very long anyway
Step 4: This one covers just about every champion, Deny farm! She may resort to rooting herself in order to farm, using her Q, Metal Flurry It attacks from left, to front to right, so as long as you stay on her right, you can get behind her for some free damage, remember she can't auto attack while channeling her 1 second Q ability so Eff her up!
Step 5: Dodge, dodge, dodge. Her abilities have huge Tells*. Use this to your advantage, get behind her, bring a stun, or just burn her over time. She doesn't have any healing or shielding abilities until she gets her ultimate, so beat her up pre 6. When she hits 6, just play the saftey-game.* Use this to read her abilities and get loads of free damage. Who doesn't like free damage?!
*Tell: An obvious visual or audio cue. Something you'll obviously know is coming: Example; Fiddlesticks ult. When he stands in that pose, and you scream to run away, or stun him. That's a huge tell. Orrrr Nasus' glowing staff when he uses Siphon Strike.
*Saftey-game: Avoid engaging her, lure her in for free damage, make her waste her abilities and cooldowns. Don't forget to laugh and taunt when she misses her brutal swing! Tilt her, and she'll play even worse!
Playing AS Miranda
1: Save your grace for a damage trade! Max out your grace, dash in with your W, use your Brutal Swing to stunlock them, and use your Q for a good damage trade. After that walk away. Another way to do this is walk up, auto > Brutal Swing > Q > Auto > W away - be careful though, as when you channel your stun, you're vulnerable from behind, as well as to CC! Beware Renekton/Garen!
2: Watch out for blinds, silences and roots! Blinds will stop your Q, so pay attention! Silences will stop your Q and E, Pay attention!
3: Health, Health, Health. Build a lot of HP, being a two-weapon fighter has it's downsides. You've got to get close, and close means 5 people smiling at you, ready to drink your HP bar! So stack those resistances! Miranda doesn't have great scaling on her abilities, so make sure to at least get 1-2 AD items, and a sheen is a MUST
4: Grace, not force. Wisdom, not power. Watch your Grace bar. This is arguably the most important thing about Miranda. Watch your grace, as that directly translates into damage and CC. If you engage with low grace? Expect to get smacked, and don't be confused when you do.
5: The Tenacious Woman you NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED Tenacity otherwise your grace-pool will just get exploded every time you get CC'd (Yes, that means you Morgana and Leona.)
Suggested items Top: Doran's Blade > Warhammer > Bami's > Boots > Phage > Sheen > Merc Treads > Sunfire > Black Cleaver, the situationalize your build from there
Jungle: Machete, + refill potion > Icy Smite machete-thing (Lolforgotit'sname) > Boots > Cinderhulk > Merc Treads
Mid: Doran's Shield > Warhammer > Boots > Situationalize Pink ward, Pink ward, Pink ward, Pink ward, Pink ward, Pink ward - every time you back, make sure you grab 1, because if you get ganked. You're dead If they CC you, you can stun, sure, but it will be at a great cost as you have to channel your stun, in order to use it (I hope they don't juke it!)
