Support/Assasin

I will grant you that most of my reasons for wanting this are personal, but I would really like to see a Support/Assassin / Assassin/Support Champion.

I would even be willing to help create it, but I quite doubt that you'd need any help from me, or that I could provide much anyway.

In any case, would anyone else be interested in such a Champion? Be it for personal reasons like mine or for game-play reasons?

What I'm imagining here is a protector, but an aggressive one. We already have defensive protectors, most of them being tank/support / support/tank.

I feel like it would be broken in the same way Tank Ekko and Tank Fizz were.

High mobility, lots of CC. Then without the gold to make them deal damage they will instead seek to build tanky and a lot of support items give defensive stats and CDR that made those champions a problem.

Basically you'd have a highly mobile CC Bot.

Balancing such a champion would be very hard, Support and Assassin are basically opposite ends of the spectrum. while you could look to integrate their play styles such as high mobility combined with the necessary CC to make them effective supports and you end up with the Tank Ekko problem.

If you seek the other route such as a highly mobile Healer/mage support well we already have mobile healer/mage supports but they don't go diving into the enemy team instead seek to kite. Perhaps there is a route here to creating a champion that feel like it contributes but even here it feels like you try to make an assassin/support and you just end up with Leblanc but with heals (I have seen LB support) and it will end up mid lane.

Some of the support champions have elements, Bard is fast moving and deals considerable damage. Thresh basically dives into the enemy team on occasion and scales off kills.

What about.. a stealth support?, that also sounds cool but difficult to balance.

Svek, the Daydreamer

Passive: Svek can sense powerful minds. Enemy champions and empowered enemies appear as floating orbs through the fog only she could see. These orbs cannot be interacted with by anyone other than Svek, and these orbs do not appear on the mini-map.

Q: Phantasmal Band First Cast: Svek collects and concentrates spiritual energy around her. All energy collected (up to 150/250/350/500) is stored for 10 seconds once full and dissipates if not used by the second cast. This is not a channeled ability. Collecting is interrupted should Svek be damaged by anything, but she is capable of battling and moving for the duration.

Second Cast: Svek designates an area nearby her, unleashing all the spiritual energy stored and trapping anyone hit inside the circle. This cannot be dashed through and must be broken through AAs, or waited out for 3 seconds. Allies can walk through this barrier (as they cannot even see it) Health is equal to amount of energy stored. Svek can cast this ability on orbs to trap enemies through the fog, then fling them to an area nearby Svek, damaging the target and any enemy nearby.

W: Wishbone Svek casts a spell on an enemy and herself. All stuns on Svek and targeted enemy are increased by 0.5 seconds, and all knockbacks/displacements gain an additional stun that lasts for 0.75 seconds. This spell lasts for 6 seconds, and should either of you die, aoe magic damage is dealt to all enemies around the survivor, dealing damage equal to 35% of the health of the one who died.

E: Lucidity Passive: All orbs have their armor and magic resistance reduced by 25/30/35/40% when attacked in orb form. Active: Svek blocks her own sight, turning all allies and enemies into spheres (that only she can see). This change is not visible to others.

R: Garden of Eden Svek draws in all enemies around her and neutralizes them. For 2 seconds, AAs and abilities cannot be used, and movement speed is reduced by 20%. Should enemies remain inside a 500 unit range of Svek, illusion copies form and strike each of them (up to 3 times) until they either die or move out fo the area.

I'd explain more about the names but I'm just too lazy to elaborate.

One specific ability idea that came into my head (and would be great to include in one of those dramatic champion introductions Riot likes to make) is some sort of thrown shield with an attached rope. The ability would be targeted at an Ally, block something meant to hit them, then instead of pulling the shield back to him/her, the champion would pull themselves either to the shield or use it to launch themselves to the attacking enemy.

Personally, I think Shaco is set to be League's premier Support / Assassin with a few QoL changes. He wants to keep his ally alive, not out of love or kindness or duty, but because they're a pawn in his game.

And he's a Jester. I mean, c'mon, he just screams support. No his kit doesn't work well for a support right now, but it could easily without any major changes. Here is a mockup of what I mean.

Support and Assassin inherently contradict each other. As one focuses on utility and CC and the other on mobility and damage. I don't see a complete combination without becoming OP (basically a champion with CC, Utility and Mobility with insane base damage and ratios [maybe even tankyness]).

That said combining aspect of those two roles works, which brings us to "what type of combination are you searching for ?" Mobility - CC -> Bard Burst - CC -> Blitzcrank Mobility - Utility -> Janna Soraka Burst - Utility -> Karma Lulu
