Maila, the Swift Archer
Maila is a marksman that uses duo bowguns and dances around the battlefield in an elegant fashion. She has very light (in colour, almost white) and fragile skin with silky, long, snow white hair.
**Brief Lore: **Once upon a time, or so stories go, there was this beautiful and pure maiden deep within Runeterra's oldest and most dense forest. This snow-white haired maiden would dart and dash all over her playground of grand trees as travelers will just be mesmerized by her, especially the males. When one of these travelers would watch her for too long they seem to disappear soon after to be never seen again; no one knows why. Maila is a very tricky young girl that no one really knows much about since no one can ever get close to her and the ones that get the closest end up being wounded travelers seeking aid by her trees of life that she grows; one can only assume Maila is a kind forest princess seeking to help those in need, but famous researchers have their doubts as they also point out that the wounded that go in never seem to come out and are deemed missing, dead or alive.
Whether Maila truly is good or has a truly evil side, no one knows for sure, but one thing is for certain is that not everything is all what it appears to be...
**Alternative View Lore: **Maila is a beautiful, pretty, and deceptively pure maiden that will dance about and dash about her playground of the forest. This forest is of the oldest and largest of Runeterra that many travelers come and visit to view the grand trees, perhaps see a super swift girl darting among the trees, and some come to seek healing from the white maiden's rumoured trees of life. Maila is a deadly and brutal archer using ancient duo bowguns and speaks only an ancient tongue. She lures in fools with her flashy acrobatics, quick motions, stunning beauty, and false kindness and sweetness. Even though the outside world will deem her the snow-white pure maiden, but in reality her heart is as black as the night sky. Maila will destroy any fool that falls for her deception, it just happens to be the desperate weak that suffer the most. Maila will lure in her prey through her inability to get caught by dashing about as well as with her trees of life, but as soon as these fools get close these trees turn to decay to destroy rather than aid and all the life that once was turns into death and despair everywhere rending the fools to be unable to escape. Even if they try to fight back they just end up hurting themselves more and more, until finally Maila swiftly comes out to finish off her prey.
So no one that sees the true darks and greys of Maila ever do return or live to tell the tale and warn those of what this pure-white maiden really is like. That she is nothing but a blackened wolf in fluffy white sheep's clothing.
