Champion Concept: Dim'Xi, Devourer of Light (Version 2.0)

This version of this concept has a new passive mechanic that really changes it. The abilities are the same and still builds luminescent drool, and the mana drain has been replaced with something else. Abilities

Mana drain replaced with mana/health damage and orbs that any champion can collect to replenish health and mana. LD is edited to accompany the new mechanic. Passive: Lumivore 2 Parts Luminescent Drool Dim'Xi will generate a stack of Luminescent Drool (LD) whenever another champion uses an ability, creates an Orb of Light, or consumes an Orb of Light. Each stack increases his AS and MS by 3%, maximum of 20 stacks. If Dim'Xi has at least 5 LD stack, he will leave a trail of drool behind himself that dissolves after 4 seconds. Stacks lasts for 5 seconds and wear off one at a time (like health potions). Orbs of Light Basic attacks rips out 4% of the target's current mana. If the target is manaless, than rips out 4% of the target's current health instead. An Orb of Light spawns off of the target, landing at a random location near it within 300 units. Any champion can consume an Orb of Light by walking over it, restoring 2% missing health and 2% missing mana.

4 stack bonus has been edited to accompany new Orb mechanic. Q: Void Bite Cost: 30 mana, up to 5 LD stacks CD: 3 seconds Range: 125 Dim'Xi bites the target, dealing 60/90/120/150/180 (+60% AD) physical damage. Bonuses added based on LD stacks spent. Range is increased to 300 while unseen by enemies.

  1. Reveals target for 6 seconds
  2. Applies On-Hit effects
  3. Deals double damage to shields
  4. Triggers the Orbs of Light passive a second time
  5. Deals 25/50/75/100/125 (+30% AD) (+50% AP) bonus True damage (calculated after bonus shield damage)

Nothing changed. Still perfect. W: Refracting Scales Cost: 70/80/90/100/110 mana CD: 20/19/18/17/16 seconds Range: Self Dim'Xi maneuvers his scales to refract the light off of him, removing disables and becoming invisible for 8/9/10/11/12 seconds. While invisible, Dim'Xi is immune to disables and take 20/25/30/35/40% reduced magic damage. If you have maximum LD stacks, Dim'Xi's mouth will glow and he will be camouflaged instead of invisible. Ability won't go on CD until stealth is broken. You can activate this ability while disabled.

Added a method to reduce remaining CD through Orbs. E: Devoured Ley Line Cost: 55/60/65/70/75 mana CD: 16/15/14/13/12 seconds Range: 600 Dim'Xi dashes in the target direction while leaving a line of corrupted magic in his wake. Initially, he deals 40/65/90/115/140 (+40% AD) physical damage to all enemies he dashes through and stun them for 1 second. The line of corrupted magic will detonate after 1 second, dealing 50/85/120/155/190 (+80% AP) magic damage to all enemies on it. Consuming an Orb of Light will reduce the remaining CD by 0.5 seconds. You can use this ability without breaking stealth.

Took full advantage of the vacuum. Replaced mana drain with health drain. Added shield to accompany over heal. Mana drain cap replaced with a healing cap. R: Gorge The Sun Cost: 25% current mana (100 minimum), 25% current health CD: 240/180/120 seconds Range: 1000 Targeting Matrix: 90 degree frontal cone Dim'Xi opens his maw and sucks in all sources of magic and light, instantly consuming all Orbs of Light in the effected area and draining 5/10/15% maximum health per second from each enemy champion in the effected area over 3 seconds. Extra health drained will over heal Dim'Xi, granting him a shield that lasts for up to 5 seconds. Dim'Xi can't move while using this ability. Enemies in the effected area will have their MS reduced by up to 90% when moving away from Dim'Xi, but increased by up to 90% when moving towards him. Stationary enemies will be slowly pulled toward Dim'Xi. This ability will automatically end early after Dim'Xi has been healed the cap of 1000/2000/3000 health this way, afterwards he will fall asleep for 1.5 seconds. You can cancel this ability early at any time. The CD will be partially refunded by an amount based on the difference of the amount of health that has been gained and the cap (maximum 120/90/60 seconds).


The Orbs of Light passive was inspired off of the fact that Dim'Xi's ultimate turns him into a vacuum cleaner. I would very much appreciate it if you let me know what you think of this passive. Same mistake don't touch recources of other champions. Decrease number of effects.
