Dux Dominus - The Hound Master

Lore: As a young boy, Dux was always sympathetic and kind to other animals. That day was no different when Dux had found them. Two Noxian Warhound pups wounded just outside the walls of Damacia, his home. Dux tried to approach the female pup in an attempt to help it, but he was immediately scorned by the growling of the male pup. The male had a cut over it's right eye and the female was bleeding from a leg wound. Dux couldn't imagine himself turning away and leaving while they were in their condition. He insisted on moving closer regardless of the male pup's warning. Just as Dux moved within arm length, his arm was clamped down on by the small jaw of the male pup. Dux felt a sharp pain but did not try to harm the male. "I understand." Dux tells the male pup. "You care about her. I do as well, and I won't hurt her. I promise." The pup that was locked on the boy's arm loosened it's grip. It was almost as if the pup understood him. Dux moved towards the female pup and examined her injury. He remembered how to clean and bandage a wound from when he got hurt at the orphanage. He quickly reached down and scooped up the female in his arms and decided to carry her back home. As he ran, the male pup joined in concern and followed them both into Damacia.

After a week of care and hiding the two pups from the orphanage caretaker's sight, they had made a full recovery. Dux had felt tired from the nights he had stayed awake caring for the two baby hounds. Luckily, his excitement for their health was enough to revitalize him. Before the celebrations could start, though, there was a knock at the orphanage's front door. Two Damacian soldiers were standing there, speaking with the caretaker. Dux couldn't understand what they were saying, but he was nervous all the same. The Damacian soldiers made their way through the house and, finally, to the backyard. There, they saw Dux sitting in front of the Noxian Warhounds that they had heard reports about. "Move aside, child." One Damacian soldier ordered. "These hounds are in the service of Noxus and must be captured." Dux knew what they were going to do to the pups and hesitated. He looked down at the two hounds he had taken care of an become attached to. They were scared and whimpering. They hid behind Dux in order to stay out of the sight of the soldiers that wanted to take them away. Finally, one soldier grabbed Dux by the arms and ripped him onto his feet. The other soldier quickly nabbed the pups and picked them up by the loose skin of their napes. The crying of the hounds was too much for Dux to handle and he lept into action. He quickly tackled the soldier that had been holding his hounds captive to the ground. Dux was able to get one punch in before the other soldier pulled him off. Just then, the male pup bit into one of the soldier's ankles as the female bit into the other's ankle. The bite was so powerful that it split the bones of their shins and caused them both to collapse. Before they could draw their weapons, Dux grabbed both of the pups and ran away as fast as he could. He left Damacia, hoping to never return.

Many weeks had passed since Dux left Damacia with his hounds in tow. The trio were very hungry and thirsty. Just as they were about to give up hope, the male hound started barking in excitement. In their view was the city of Noxus. The three rushed their way to the gates of Noxus only to be greeted by soldiers of Noxus wielding spears. "Stop! What is your business here?" A soldier asked. "I'm just looking for a place to get food and water for my friends." Dux explains. Before he could continue, a soldier interrupted him. "My word... Andrew, would you look at that!?" One of the soldiers said to another. "Noxian Warhounds... following the commands of a child..." Once the guards had noticed this fact, they were stunned. "Noxian Warhounds select their masters to follow. If they don't like you, they kill you on the spot." A guard explained. "Escort him and his pups to Noxian High Command at once!" A soldier ordered to the others. The gates of the city had opened for them.

Darkwill had conscripted Dux and the two pups into his army and asked their names. Dux introduced himself and introduced the male as Varta and the female as Gosha. They had been put through many years of training, but their bond had never wavered. After passing the academy, Dux, Gosha and Varta quickly shot up through the ranks of the Noxian Military faster than any soldier before them. As such, Dux was awarded with a custom made rifle designed by the greatest smiths in Noxus. Now, he serves Noxus on the battlefields. Damacia was once their home, but now, it is their enemy.

"We had heard what sounded like a great war off in the distance. Gunfire, barking of hounds and screams of agony. When we finally arrived, we saw the scattered bodies of an entire regiment. And in the middle of them, a man and his two hounds. They had brought their gaze upon us, and we knew then that there was no escape." - Final journal entry of a Damacian Scout cadet.

Role: ADC/Marksman Primary Form of Damage: AD Range: 550

Champion Kit:

Passive: Move as One: Gosha, Varta and Dominus all share 1/3rd of stats. This includes health, armor, magic resist, AD, AP, Crit Damage and Crit Chance. (Movement speed is universal between the 3)

When Gosha or Varta are incapacitated, Dominus receives their share of the stats as a boost. When both are incapacitated, Dominus loses 10% of his Armor and MR in favor of a 10% AD and 50% AS increase.

Q: Gosha: Passive: While Gosha is nearby, Dominus gains a 2%/4%/6%/8%/10% increase to MR. Active: Gosha leaps to a target area dealing X Physical damage upon arrival and stealths. When an enemy or minion enters Gosha's range (125), she attacks them with auto attacks while remaining stationary.

**W: ** Sights Locked Passive: Dominus marks an enemy with his shots, giving them stacks of "Targeted". This effect can stack up to 5 times. When Gosha or Varta attack a person with "Targeted" on them, the stacks are consumed and Gosha or Varta get increased attack speed based on the amount of stacks consumed.

E: Varta Passive: While Varta is nearby, Dominus gains a 2%/4%/6%/8%/10% increase to Armor. Active: Varta dashes forward in a straight line, stunning the first target hit and slowing all surrounding enemies while dealing X Physical damage around him. After landing, he auto attacks the stunned target while staying stationary.

R: No Escape Active: Dominus marks a target with 5 stacks of "Targeted". After which, Gosha and Varta leave Dominus' side and appear next to the target. The target is stunned for 2 seconds and attacked by Gosha and Varta. (Q and E can not be cast during this time. Dominus can still Auto Attack while No Escape is active) After 2 seconds, once the target is dead, or once the stun ends, Gosh and Varta return to Dominus.

Playing as Dominus:

Your greatest weapons are Gosha and Varta. Take care not to let them get incapacitated or you'll be vulnerable.

Position of Gosha and initiation of Varta could lead your enemy into a nasty trap. Especially if marked.

Since Gosha and Varta can apply on-hit effects, items such as Statikk Shiv could be a great choice.

Playing against Dominus:

When Gosha and Varta aren't near Dominus, he is weaker than normal. An assassin looking to take Dominus out would benefit most from this opening.

Gosha, Varta and Dominus aren't that strong on their own. Taking them out separately is easier than if they're all together.

Dominus is short ranged. Caitlyn could benefit from this range advantage.

**Joke: ** Ever gone hunting before? Ever BEEN hunted before? A Damacian and a Noxian walk into a bush. Only three walk out.

Taunt: You can run if you want. I WILL find you. It seems like every trail's a blood trail.

Dance: Unsure

Laugh: Unsure

What do you think, summoners?
