Amelia, Twain of the sun and moon

Im going to be doing these every few days or so in between my matches for fun mostly. I just enjoy doing this, if riot so happens to like it then that's nice too haha :D ART IS NOT DONE BY ME CREDITS TO THE ORIGINAL ARTIST.

Amelia Lore

Amelia was a child taken into care of the elders of Mount Targon. She was trained with the Ra-Horak, the warrior templars of the Solari. Aside this she was also very intrigued of Diana who at the time was also training with the Ra-Horak templars. Amelia growing up was always conflicted with the ways the of the sun giving life and the quashed teachings of the Lunari as she was always found of both..

There then came a time when all the other children began to outcast Diana but Amelia intrigued of Diana's strength and independence, even following Diana at the nights she gazed upon the sliver moon raising. Amelia one day catches Diana arguing with an elder and being dismissed for foolishness and ignorance questioning the elders. That night she once again followed Diana as before this time to notice she had a strange old looking pages in her arms reading passages Amelia could not word out. Several weeks later which felt as days, Diana was gone as the elders thought she had perished in the cold somehow. The following morning Amelia witnessed Leona escorting Diana before the elders and noticed her locks were now white. In the face of the elders Diana told of what she had learned of the Lunari, and was called out for blasphemy. The elders wished to punish Diana by death, then out of anger Diana lashed out on the elders with what looked as white flames and eliminated the elders before her. After Diana fled Amelia was ever more intrigued with Diana's new found power.

Amelia began contemplating what she had witnessed, the questions Diana always asked before the elders, the raw power.. Amelia then gained a new ideal.. loyal to the sun but drawn by the moon and began to lock herself in the libraries seeking answers. She then realized that one could.. possibly control both aspects of the sun and moon, achieve a power even greater than Diana.. but at a fault a she learned one could not combine both aspects but carry both switching between both strengths. Driven mad by power Amelia climbed to the mountain as Diana did. Reaching the top she was greeted by a women who spoke.

"You desire this power ?"

Amelia - "Yes i seek the power of the Lunari."

"Very well you climbed as she did.. i will grant you this power.. however i sense you do not truly desire to withdraw the teachings of the sun .."

Amelia - "That is false i changed my view on life i wish to live under the moon than the sun."

"That is a lie ! You cannot have both ! it is Blasphemy !!"

Amelia then drew her sword and embraced it with the light of sun screaming "I WILL TAKE IT THEN !" Fire beaming in her eyes as the women shot a sliver flame at her, Amelia jumped over the women and the flame and struck her with the suns embrace. The women then perished with a mist shaped in the form of a crescent, Amelia then grasped the air and suddenly the power began channeling through her.. Her goal was achieved she is now_ Amelia, Twain of the sun and moon. _

Amelia, Twain of the sun and moon Role: Fighter/Mage Lane: Mid, Top, JG

**Passive (Of Sun and Moon) ** Amelia can switch her aspect between the sun and moon with each giving different skill sets with her Q W E R. Switching between can only occur every 8 sec.

_ Sun aspect_ When on passively marks enemies with Sunlight for 3 seconds each time Amelia lands 3 auto attacks, consuming sunlight with an ability deals bonus AD dmg. Additionally if Leona strikes with her sunlight, Amelia can land her sun aspect dmg this way too. (limited once per 30 sec.)

Moon aspect When on passively grants vision over a target for 5 sec when struck by any of Moon aspect abilities.

**Q - Sun aspect ** Amelia spins with her sword in braced by the sun .

**W - Sun aspect ** Whenever Amelia last hits minions or monsters or takes dmg she begins storing charges. At 100 max she can activate the store power attacking everything within the circle around her and stunning targets for 1.75 sec. (Same range as the Q and looks like Leonas Ult.) (Taking dmg charges stacks much faster than last hitting.)

**E - Sun aspect ** Amelia passively gains free AD increasing over rank. Only passively active when Sun aspect is chosen.

**R - Sun aspect ** (Suns embrace) Amelia glows with the suns embrace gaining increased movement speed. While also spitting out constant heat waves for a total duration of 6/8/10 sec with Sun aspect active.

**Q - Moon aspect ** Amelia powers her sword with lunar power and dashes forward a bit slicing in the shape of a half moon inflicting moon light for 5 sec.

**W - Moon aspect ** Amelia dashes backward a bit and swings her sword in a full circle pushing all targets outward.

**E - Moon aspect ** Amelia passively gains bonus attack speed over rank. Only passively active when Moon aspect is chosen.

**R - Moon aspect ** (Moons embrace) Amelia glows with the moons embrace gaining vast sword reach and increased AP power. For a total of 6/8/10 sec.

Ult notes While using Amelia's Ult you can switch back and forth between her sun & moon aspects every 1 sec instead of 8 and you cannot switch unless you have used one ability from either aspect your using.

EDIT: Changing between aspects in the ult is just pressing R i forgot to add that XD

General Info Sun aspect abilities scale more with AD. Moon aspect abilities scale more with AP. A recommended full build:

item 3116 item 3078 item 3146 item 3071 item 3046 item 3158 Of course you can go full AP or AD. But she benefits from switching between aspects during her ult for more options of play.

Hello there! You have an interesting concept to be sure. Duality and all that is generally one of my favourite themes. Though if she is going to be of both the sun and moon I'd suggest changing her title. Twain means two or couple which doesn't quite make sense in the context given. If you really want to drive home the in between the sun and moon try for things like Chosen of the Eclipse, Wielder of Dusk, or some variation on that. Or you could go with something that keeps the sun and moon separate like Channeler of Sun and Moon or something.

As for the abilities, the passive is a tad counter productive. Most champions have a way of regulating their transformations in some regard. Elise can freely swap with her ult, and even Gnar who has one of the most unpredictable transformations can at least control when it may happen with his rage. However with the 8 second counter you'd have to have perfect timing to know when this next ability is coming up. Could you imagine how frustration it would be for a player who kept the charges for sun aspects W for the sun only for it to disappear the moment they actually needed it? This passive removes the player from chosing the appropriate time to change.

The different scaling also messes with players. I means they have to chose which form they rely on and which is useless. If you changed the timer to something they could at least mitigate then it would be fine. Say that every 5th ability or something she changes form?

The secondary passives are ok. Sun's passive is the standard 3 hit combo. Moon's passive should be shortened 5 seconds is a long time to have vision on someone especially when you close enough to hit with your abilities. Maybe 3 seconds works better. Your choice.

Sun Q is alright. Moon Q seems kind of copied from Diana.

Sun W's stun is a bit too long for that large an area. Maybe try for 1 second or have a scaling time like Sion's old stun. Moon W is fine.

Can't really comment on either E til I see the numbers.

Sun R is basically a suped up Sunfire cape with some movement speed. Kinda boring it's like mundo's. Again for moon I need to see the numbers to judge. You also didn't state how you changed forms during the ults.

Overall a decent concept that needs a bit of work. If I were you I would focus on the sun and moon side working together more rather than having them almost opposing each as they are now. This has been my thoughts on Amelia, Twain of the Sun and Moon.

Urmm I wouldn't have that leona part in her q ability... cuz then you make people always have to play leona if your character was picked. I feel like the champ would max e first, struggle for a really long time till late game then dish out all the damage. Creative champ though.

diana resemples kinda the moon so Amelia should resemple the sun you need to fix her abilities they seem kinda poor her Q could be a slash of light kinda like aatrox E and and ezreals ult Her W a sun barrier that gives her an immune to basic attacks for some seconds but slows her after the barrier fades her E could be a skillshot that hits the ground in a circle And slows the enemy champs and dealing some DMG And her R could be a global ult a sun ray that kinda similar to sorakas ult but will give a buff

I'm not trying to change your ideas or be an asshole I'm just giving some advices cause I like your concept
