#Short Lore
One of the heirs to a wealthy Piltovian family, Lyra took strongly after her father, much preferring to spend her time deep in the jungles of Kumungu instead of the laboratories of Piltover. Armed only with her mechanical menagerie and her own insatiable curiosity, she seeks to scour the world for discoveries yet unmade.

Unparalleled Curiosity
Lyra possesses an insatiable thirst for knowledge, causing her to create a billboard at the fountain which displays the status of her research. She investigates each living thing she kills, which grant her Research she can use to upgrade her abilities. Minions and monsters grant 1 Research, siege minions and large monsters grant 5 Research, champions and Elemental Dragons grant 10 Research, while Elder Dragons, Rift Herald and Baron Nashor grant 25 Research.
Lyra has four key areas of research where she can make a Breakthrough: Minions, Champions, Large Monsters, and Epic Monsters. Lyra requires 150 minions, 10 champions kills/assists, 15 large monsters or 1 epic monster in order to make a Breakthrough. Lyra may only make one Breakthrough every 5 minutes and can only begin making Breakthroughs after 10 minutes have passed.
Making a Breakthrough causes a Relic to spawn in a quadrant of the jungle. Lyra can stand with 250 range of the Relic to deploy a Research Bot which takes 30 seconds to study and collect it. Only one Relic will spawn in each quadrant of the jungle, but the first will always spawn on Lyra’s side of the map. The Relic is visible to all champions, but does not provide vision.
Lyra may spend Research and Relics at the shop to improve her abilities. Only one Relic may be spent on each ability and ADVANCED UPGRADES are mutually exclusive.

Swooping Perch
Lyra dispatches her augmented falcon to fly up into the air. After 0.5 seconds, the falcon crashes down at target location, dealing 70/110/150/190/230 (+0.6 AP) magic damage and knocking up all enemies hit for 1.1/1.2/1.3/1.4/1.5 seconds.
If the falcon has hit at least 1 enemy champion, it will begin to moult electro-static feathers in a larger area for the next 2 seconds. Feathers fall every 0.5 seconds and slow enemies in the area for 40/45/50/55/60%.

K-7 Pulse Rifle
Lyra overcharges her pulse rifle for the next 6 seconds. During this period, she can fire up to 3 shots by reactivating the ability. At the end of it's path, or when reactivated, it detonates, marking a conic field which deals 30/50/70/90/110 (+ 0.2 AP) magic damage after 0.25 seconds to all targets within the field simultaneously.
The field persists for 2 seconds, dealing no damage, but Electrifying all enemy targets within while they remain within. Electrified targets are stunned briefly the first time they try to cast any mobility ability and putting it on its full cooldown.

Freedom Fighters last 3 minutes, and will regen 1 health per second after not being damaged for 4 seconds. If Lyra is nearby, they will also regenerate 1 ammunition per second. Lyra may have a maximum of 4 on the field at once.

Cyber-Pack
Lyaera designates herself as Pack Leader and summons 3 mechanical wolves to aid her for 20 seconds. These wolves patrol within an 800 range circle of Lyaera, attacking foes who come near (prioritise champions). Wolf attacks stun the targets for 0.5 seconds (cannot happen again for 2 seconds) and deal 100/150/200 (+ 0.25 AP) magic damage in an area around them. Only 1 Wolf may attack a single target at a time.
Lyaera may also reactivate the ability to designate Wolves to patrol that area for their remaining duration.
Cooldown: 120/110/100 Mana: 100
##Upgrades Advanced
** Shredding Claws**
Wolf attacks cause them to gain 20% attack speed and reduce enemy magic resist by 15 on-hit. This bonus stacks up to 4 times, and decays one stack at a time after not having gained stacks for 4 seconds.
Cost: 1 Relic
Alpha Protocol
If the Pack Leader were to take fatal damage, mechanical wolves instead sacrifice themselves, granting them a 25% missing health shield per remaining wolf on the field which decays over 6 seconds. This will automatically consume and deactivate all Wolves on the field.

#Closing Thoughts
Lyra is an attempt at a ‘dynamic’ type of control mage. Rather than purely manipulating the battlefield with control effects, she instead uses her vast mechanical menagerie in order to attempt and try to control the way it functions through specific parts of both area denial but also the ability to enhance your allies’ effectiveness in the field.
