Sweetheart Annie makes ten Annie skins. Seriously?
With so many champions in need of skin love, why push out a tenth Annie skin? Concept is cute and all, but wouldn't it be better to have the Valentine's skin on a champion like Talon?

There are a lot of competing interests at work here, but the one that's usually overlooked is the business side of things. Annie is a popular champion, especially among the female audience, and her skins likely generate high sales. Having a concentration of skins on certain champions is an easy way for Riot to make money without exerting that much effort or disrupting the rest of the game world.
It's a win/win/lose, I guess. Annie fans are happy, Riot makes money, but some players get frustrated at the lost opportunity cost. At the end of the day, that's an easy business decision to make.

At least it's only 750rp. Not as pretty as Vayne's and Ashe's but cmon...Carebears.
I think on another thread a Red said they don't necessarily make skins on champs who need them, they make them based off if they have an idea and put it to work. I guess they had this in mind. Not that I agree with it. I'll just keep my Reverse Annie, thank you.
The part that bugs me the most?
Right there. That one. Got her first purchasable new skin since her release, and its a hand-me down ninja festival dress from years ago.
Nevermind that she's got a super cool theme that could be easily translated into any number of cool skins, (Deep sea, Magma strider, Nightmare, Space Invader, off the top of my head).
And now Annie gets a mini-me version of Ashe's Skin. I'm not exactly disappointed, it looks great and carebear tibbers is hilarious, but perhaps riot could step away from group themed skins for a while?
It will be the ninth. Personally I was hoping for this. There is a few Annie skins yes, but there are not many available, and it has been a long time since Annie has gotten a new skin. She got a visual update on her Red Riding Annie skin, but that wasn't a new skin. If you take away the skins that are unavailable then there is in fact 'only' 5 skins. I can agree that some champions have less and might need a new one aswell, but just take a look at Katarina who as 8. And yet you have not mentioned her. I was a bit upset when they didn't let frostfire Annie be part of the Snowdown, but I couldn't do much about it, but Annie has missed out on a lot on the matter of Skins where other champions have skin series together. Just yesterday I was talking to a friend about this. They haven't 'fixed' Annie as much as some other champions. I don't mind, but a new skin was good. Really makes a difference for the people maining Annie.
Why? Well that's easy Annie represents one of the most iconic League of Leguends Champions (along with Garen, Katarina, Ryze and a lot of the older champions) When you think of League of Legends Annie and her Bear comes to mind plus she is constantly used on publicity and advertising, when was the last time you saw a Talon promotional video?
If I were to ask for a valentine skin I would ask for a Taric on a dress, it would be very funny looking to see. But then again that will never happen due to Rito taking risks too big.
Yea i was thinking the same thing. Was really hopin to see jinx this year but she seems to be lunar revel so my next hope was for Zac.

Whether a champion receives a new skin or not isn't entirely based on how few skins they have :) I can understand the frustration though, I've been waiting on a new skin for some champions for a while now haha. It can be a little frustrating not seeing the champions you like receive new stuff, but patience pays out in the end.
If it makes you feel better the skin is atrocious. What a waste I was looking forward to a good heartseeker skin.

Trundle could use some skin love. I mean, really. It's not funny. Sure, plenty of others could be argued for it but ever since I started playing this game, every time I heard a champion skin got released, even when I did not own the troll chie—KING! I meant king!—he has not ONCE been graced with a new skin.
If I am mistaken and he was indeed given one but it was a limited time only thing, I apologize for not being an everyday player (the community at large drove me to the brink and I can only stand to do bot games every once in a while now). Nor do I bother paying attention to "professional" players (because, y'know, winning team from championships, blah blah blah, etc.). I don't watch sports and I especially do not watch e-sports. Why sit around watching other people do something that you, yourself, could be doing?

Talon is too sexy for that, Annie is actually cute so it makes more sense XD
