Nice way to get rid of all the old discussions, Riot.

Yeah... kinda sudden. Seem riot wants to wip out the 'old' lore (and memory of it) as much as possible, they took down the old site for the JOJ too, when before they said they where going keep it archived. Bad idea over all as they said it was cool to remember the 'old stories'(kinda hard to when they are 'gone') and 'some' of them are relevant as been seen with the 'Reborn' story arc, the new lore is all over the place and there is no consistency yet or easy to find, sucks.
I want to know who's actually in charge of this, because if it's a member of their new lore team, this is absurdly idiotic.

Thanks for putting your concerns on our radar. The redirect was something that we did intentionally, but not without thinking about what happens to all the awesome content you've posted in the Lore forums over the last couple of years. To be clear, nothing has been deleted, and is all still accessible with a direct link. ThorRush has already demonstrated that with a post in this discussion.
As for why we did this, let me explain! After the recent updates to the story, including all the new stuff coming out, we saw that the community was more active than anytime in recent memory. While super exciting, this also presented some real challenges with the old forums. We saw the creation of the Story & Art board as an opportunity to give the Lore community a new home, and the redirect is part of our long term desire to grow this community, and to phase out some of the old forums.
Having said that, I'd like to understand all of your concerns, so that we can reduce the pain you guys feel in this transition. What do you feel strongly about at this point?
Wow, didn't notice this before. They haven't done things this way for any of the other forums.
Riot, what gives? Is this about censoring all of the posts that were against your not so well received lore retcon?

Conspiracy theories aside, this IS something they should have mentioned, or should retroactively speak to. I will see if I can find Tamat or somebody else on the CB team and see what they have to say.
I don't think this is malicious, or really has anything to do with Creative. Riot in general wants to move everything onto the boards. That said, this seems weird.

In all seriousness, no, this probably wasn't a CONSPIRACY TO SILENCE THE ANGER or anything like that, if they wanted to do that they would have done it a week ago. They probably just want to move everything to Boards. I kinda hate this format, but I'll get used to it I guess. I'm really upset that Sylph's thread with links to all the Lore content is gone though. That was a fantastic resource. If we have a Red reading this, could we dredge that back up?
I bet they did it to delete the infamous "it's just, like, Riot Opeli's opinion, man" thread--among other things.
Being a lore junkie is a nice though! Now look, we get redirected to this nice looking forums board! :D :D :D

Give the community a second to think something bad and they already begin to spit bile oh my -_- plz let' s turn all like the Dota2 community already so we don' t waste time; critics are always well received, but complottism is really childish.
