It's been 1,800 days since Yorick's release (June 22, 2011). Since then...

• No new skins released save his classic and two launch skins.
  

• Taken off free week rotation to prevent promotion
  

• Called "Riot's biggest mistake" by a vast number of employees.  Openly ridiculed on social media and LCS broadcasts by Riot employees, which has extended to the player base.
  

• While declared the champ "most in need of a rework," was passed over for Sion, Poppy, Taric and Ryze for... reasons.
  

• Placed on the upcoming rework list (after nearly four years of waiting), but nothing even resembling possible direction or goals other than "minion master."
  

Other fun facts:

• SKT mid-laner Lee Sang-hyeok, better known as "Faker," and jungler Bae Seong-ung, better known as "bengi," will have the same amount of skins as Yorick later this year (when his S5 championship skin is released) despite both being competitive players.
  

• Summoner's Rift has had more skins than Yorick (seasonal skins and the 2014 revamp.)
• Still obscured by the skins list on his Pentakill splash page, despite it being a known issue for years.
