Sommerfugl the black butterfly
I am creating a team of bug champions and so far I have made a jungler and top laner. This is the support/mage I have in mind. Links to the other champions I have made for the team so far will be provided at the end of the champion concept.
Passive (sweet aroma): Sommerfugl releases pheromones that increase the magic resist of allies by 20% of Sommerfugl's magic resist and causes allies to have 30% increased mana regeneration.
Q (surround): sommerfugl wraps herself around a target allied champion, flying over all obstacles in a 800 unit radius. Sommerfugl then takes 50% of all damage from single target attacks and as long as Sommerfugl is wrapped around her ally, she will not allow her ally to drop below 1 hp. Attacks that deal area damage or deal damage over time will be applied to both Sommerfugl and her ally and the host can be taken below 1 hp this way, releasing Sommerfugl. If Sommerfugl dies trying to protect her host, then the host will be given a heal equal to 10% of Sommerfugl's max hp but will be slowed by 50% for 2 seconds. In this position Sommerfugl's w, e, and r are given new abilities and q cancels surround. W in this position is called sacrifice which costs 40/50/60/70/80 mana with a 9/8/7/6/5 second cooldown and causes Sommerfugl to transfer 100+5% of her own health to her host, but this ability cannot be cast if Sommerfugl would die by using this ability. E causes Sommerfugl to release an aroma that reduces enemies attack speed, attack damage, and movement speed by 5/10/15/20/25% for 30/40/50/60/70 mana per second. R in this position fires a concentrated burst of aroma that deals 30/45/60/75/90 + 30% ap damage to the enemy struck 1st in the aroma's flight path and charms the enemy for 1/1.25/1.5/1.75/2 seconds (costing 80/90/100/110/120 mana).
W (acid spit): Sommerfugl fires a spitball of acid at an enemy that deals 20/30/40/50/60 +50% ap damage at an enemy reducing their armor by 5% for 7 seconds and the timer is refreshed each time the enemy is struck by another acid spit and can stack up to five times. Mana cost: 35/45/55/65/75 cooldown: 5/5/4/4/3 seconds.
E (hungry swarm) active: Sommerfugl releases a swarm of butterflies that surround her and nearby allies in a 300/400/500/600/700 unit radius, providing 10/20/30/40/50 + (crystal stack count) magic resist to herself and nearby allies for 60/70/80/90/100 mana per second. E passive: each enemy caster minion leaves behind 0.75 crystals for sommerfugl to pick up (like how thresh picks up souls) to use to absorb enemy spells.
R (Magical Surge): Sommerfugl looks at the sky and gathers energy from the world around her charging up to 5 seconds to create an orb of destructive magic. For each second of charging Sommerfugl will deal 50/100/150 + 20%ap + crystal stacks damage ,the hit radius is increased by 50, and the range of the orb is increased by 500. If the orb reaches the end of its range or if Sommerfugl reactivates R, then the orb will instead explode dealing 60% damage to all enemies in a radius equal to 100*number of seconds charged. Mana cost: 100/175/250 cooldown: 150/120/90 seconds.
Lore: Sommerfugl is a creation of Bakukang the Swarm general, second after the first creation Lintah the Leech soldier in attempt to help restore the shadow isles to their former glory.
