[CHAMPION CONCEPT] Kullix, the Death Scavenger
Recommend You Read This Before You Read This Concept So, I believe it is in order to explain this guy before you see his kit jock FULL of passives. There is literally one on every skill and every skill has an active to go with it. Now just by reading this you might think "Oh, well then he is someone where he has a passive effect for each ability where the active powers up the passive to become more of a fight changing move." That is also a no. While his actives and passives complement each other, none of them (except maybe his Q) buff the passive aspect in anyway, even if some of them are a little similar. This foul creature is based on the aspect of a hunter that waits for allies to bring the enemy low and then goes in for the kill. This concept and character is based on a unique hunting style of hyenas in Africa where they will sometimes "steal the kill" from other predators for their own meal. This is not to say this character was made to solely steal kills from Marksman, but he does a lot of damage based on missing health and little flat damage besides basic attacks and a small bit on his ultimate. It is all based on the player's choice similar to many champions in the game of who and when they kill. Now, on to the character itself.
Kullix is a hyena from the border of the Tempest Flats and Voodoo Lands, the home of the Gray Order whom
Annie is a part of. Kullix enjoys the hobbies of stealing the kills of others who wander the wasteland, making him a clear enemy of the Gray Order when they ever hunt since he is smart enough to know that their hunt is larger than most in the wastelands. Upon Annie taming the shadow bear of the forests in the Voodoo Lands, he stopped following them in fear of the brat. However, upon finding out that Annie was being used in the Institute of War for matches, he found it an easy time to pillage and rip apart the lesser magi of the Gray Order, making his presence much more noticeable for the Gray Order, including Annie. Eventually Kullix slowly began to be more cocky in who he killed and for good reason, finding he could overthrow many of the magi present in the order. After several months of savage murder, Kullix was found by the Counselors of the Institute of War feasting on what seemed to be another native hyena. They had come due to the fact that the news has spread that their order was being killed off by a monster. This threatened the life of Annie and the Institute was forced to take action. After a short skirmish, they were able to negotiate terms to stop the killing. In return for the end of the killing of the Gray Order, Kullix would be granted fame and endless food in the League of Legends. He accepted happily, earning his place in the party of foul beasts who wander the Fields of Justice.
LORE
The wastelands of the Voodoo Lands... what a fool's cause.
Not only are the creatures of this realm completely void of any intelligence, surviving in such a harsh environment is rare. In fact, I believe only those possess magic have ever come close to surviving there. However, the wildlife there is a different story. There several beasts that roam those lands that even adept summoners of the Institute of War did not dare challenge. Ranging from the shadow bears to deadly snakes, nothing we cannot handle, there is plenty of deadly creatures there. Including large cats... however, these ones are not as intelligent.
One noticeable species there is the Voodoo Hyena, a rare species of hyena that possesses expert hunting skills, so good in fact that some explorers of this world suspect that the creature is in fact, magical. They believe the creature's nose and adept planning are due to magic. HA! What fools. I found no trace of magic bound to these beasts when I devoured them. However, one always escaped my grasp and has caused myself trouble in the past.
It was of few that I have found that possessed the ability of speech, not a good combo with it's extremely annoying laughter it emits when excited or aggravated. It called itself Kullix. It, in fact, was able to get the drop on me once, biting off a part of my wings. Able to grow it back of course, I followed it to observe it since it might be of trouble in the future to our cause. It appears to hunt by following the hunt, taking meat that others have worked hard for. Despicable. Noticeable weaknesses are that it seems to be constantly hungry, causing it to need to do this technique often, making his presence very common for his enemies and easy to see coming.
Strengths I find he has is his adept skill of stalking hurt prey without being noticed. Even the giant cats of this land do not see him coming when they retreat wounded. He also possesses an immunity to many diseases that spread across the wasteland, making even deadly to be around since he doesn't not carry them even if he does seem to be immune. This leads me to believe that, in short, he is to be avoided like the plague itself. Human and animal diseases rot off him like sweat from scared humans, making him not very smart to eat. When the invasion begins, we must contain him and his pack of other Voodoo Hyenas, not eat them. Otherwise, it is likely our numbers will be nearly reduced by a fourth, a critical injury to our numbers. On the side note, he does not live alone. He does live in a pack. Unlike other packs where the female is the alpha, he seems to control his pack, roaming the lands with ferocious hunger. He seems to enjoy hunting alone though. So, ending things here, he seems to be joining the League of Legends that I have been a part of with our other members here. I will continue my study of him there along with the other cursed species of this world.

KIT
Kullix, the Death Scavenger Assassin Secondary: Support Health- 477 (+83 per level) Health Regen- 0.15 (+0.1 per level) Armor- 17 (+3 per level) Magic Resist- 30 (+1.25 per level) Movement Speed- 355 Attack Damage- 59.3 (+3.7 per level) Attack Speed- 0.665 (+2.7% per level) Attack Range- 125 (Melee)
Passive- Death's Janitor Innate: Enemy units below 20/25/30% health are revealed with true vision to Kullix and his allies if they are within 2500/3000/3500 units of Kullix. Upon dying, enemy units and monsters drop Scavenging Meat if they are within the range of Death's Janitor, it being invisible to enemies if they do have vision of Kullix upon the unit dying. Picking up this meat heals Kullix equal to 1/2/3% of the unit's max health, doubled for champions and large monsters, and increases his movement speed by 1, increasing up to 15/25/35 flat movement speed. Bonus movement speed is lost upon death. Scavenging Meat lasts on the ground for 7/10/13 seconds. Level Up Levels: 1/6/11
Ability 1- Scavenger Passive: Upon an enemy champion dying, a trail of where they have been in the last 15/17.5/20/22.5/25 seconds is revealed to Kullix, even if he could not see their death. He gains 4/7/10/13/16% movement speed while on the trail. Active: Kullix next basic attack within 5 seconds causes him to bite his enemy, dealing 10/20/30/40/50 (+115% AD) physical damage and causing them to bleed, leaving a blood trail that Kullix can follow and heal himself by 1% (+0.2% per 35 bonus AD) of their current missing health per second. The target bleeds for 4/4.5/5/5.5/6 seconds. Cost: 40/45/50/55/60 Health Cool Down: 15/13.5/12/10.5/9 sec.
Ability 2- Piercing Laughter Passive: Kullix's abilities mark his target for 4/5/6/7/8 seconds, reducing their health regeneration by 10/15/20/25/30% and causing their bonus armor and magic resist to be reduced by 1/1.5/2/2.5/3 per second over the duration of the mark, returning to them immediately once the mark disappears. This reduced their bonus armor and magic resist by up to 4/7.5/12/17.5/24. This cannot stack. If the unit dies while the mark is on them, 500 units around their dying position is revealed to Kullix only and they drop two Scavenging Meat instead of one. Active: Kullix lets out a maniacal laugh over 3 seconds, dealing 20/25/30/35/40 (+1/1.25/1.5/1.75/2% bonus health) magic damage every second for a total of 60/75/90/105/120 (+3/3.75/4.5/5.25/6% bonus health) magic damage over 3 seconds. If the enemy could not see him at the beginning of the laughter, they are feared for 0.6/0.7/0.8/0.9/1 second(s) upon hearing the laughter. This does not directly reveal Kullix, but the sound waves give away his position and the sound can be heard globally if the enemy team has vision of him. Cost: 30/45/60/75/90 Health Cool Down: 16/15.5/15/14.5/14 sec. Range: 550/625/700/775/850
Ability 3- Stalking Passive: While an enemy champion is revealed by Death's Janitor, Kullix becomes invisible while he is at least 1500/1375/1250/1125/1000 units away from the target. The Death's Janitor reveal range is also increased by 200/400/600/800/1000. Active: Kullix leaps at the target enemy unit, dealing 9/11/13/15/17% (+1% per 35 bonus AD) of their missing health in physical damage. If the unit is killed by this, Kullix will channel for 4 seconds, healing himself by 25/35/45/55/65 (+15% bonus AD) health per second. This can be interrupted after 1 second. If an enemy champion dies within 1200 units of Kullix, the cool down is reduced by 3/4/5/6/7 seconds. Cost: 6/7/8/9/10% current health Cool Down: 30/27.5/25/22.5/20 sec. Range: 450
Ultimate- Disease Ridden Passive: Kullix's basic attacks deal 30/45/60 (+6/9/12% AD) bonus physical damage over 3 seconds and apply Grievous Wounds for 1/1.25/1.5 second(s). Active: Kullix releases noxious fumes that travel outwards from him, causing enemies around him to take 100/125/150 magic damage plus an additional 10/15/20% (+3% per 35 bonus AD) of their current missing health in physical damage over 20 seconds. During this time, their health regeneration is reduced by 100%, causing them to not regenerate any health normally during this time. Cost: No Cost Cool Down: 170/140/110 sec. TIPS
When Playing as Kullix
- Kullix cannot deal much damage to enemy units who have high health. If you are jungling as Kullix, it is often a good idea to try to stay near lanes who are aggressive early so you can utilize your high execution capability.
- Knowing just the perfect time to make your move is vital as Kullix before level 6 since, due to moderate cool downs and low damage against high health targets, he cannot continue to deal much damage past his initial burst.
- Kullix can make for an extremely aggresive support in bottom lane, capable of revealing and reducing the defenses of enemies for his carry. Combine this with his ultimate and fear from Piercing Laughter, he can very easily set up kills for his lane partner.
When Playing Against Kullix
- Due to Kullix's low base health regeneration, he will rely on other means of healing to sustain himself early on in the game. Expect to find him constantly near low health units to make use of his passive for the sustain it grants him.
- Kullix is adept at tracking down enemies once he has had even a short encounter with them. Expect him to chase you down if you escape him with low health since his passive will be revealing you and he is extremely great at killing of low health targets.
- Buying Vision Wards can help if you find Kullix counter jungling you constantly since he gains invisibility when you are on low health and he can reveal you.
INSPIRATION
Kullix's kit is based on the hunting style of hyenas in Africa
The initial idea behind Kullix was hatched off of the Hyena Warwick skin http://www.lolking.net/models/?champion=19&skin=7
Kullix's passive was slightly inspired by
Warwick's Blood Scent
