(Champion Concept) Bor'Dul, the Returned Watcher
LORE Day 1 "Mama, I am scared," spoke the young girl. Her name was Sandra. Her mother wrapped the girl in her arms as they stared at the intense snowstorm slowly moving towards them and their village. An old man, barely able to see, stood beside them, staring at the coming storm as well.
"That is not a mere passing storm, Sarah. You need to get inside and prepare the fire. I can feel it within me. This is a storm that may last all winter."
The old man turned to go inside himself. Realizing he was right, Sarah carried Sandra inside. The girl was shivering. Not just from the cold, but from a presence she had said she felt within the storm. Sarah had told her not to worry, but even she could not deny the strange nature of the storm. It was almost spherical in shape, as if something was emitting the storm itself. Not knowing what else to do, Sarah prayed to Anivia to spare them and started the fires. Sandra shivered still, as if haunted by some paranormal force.
"Sandra, what is the matter? The fire is lit and the room is already very warm. Why do you still shiver?" The girl replied, "Can't you feel it Mama? It's eye. It stares at us."
"Who's eye my dear?"
"The Watcher."
Sarah shook her head. She had never realized that the stories would take hold of Sandra so much. She should have never told her such legends.
"Do not be ridiculous my little poro. The Watchers are but legend. They disappeared long ago thanks to our ancestors. They are gone forever. I promise."
The girl shook her head and turned to face the wall.
"I can feel it's gaze mama. It looks at us. It feels... like we have done something wrong. It sees us. It is angry."
The girl's shivering was becoming more and more intense. Sarah felt the girl's head. She did not feel hot, but that was the bad part. She was cold. Colder than the ice outside. It almost hurt Sarah to touch her for too long.
"Grandpa!"
Day 4
The storm raged outside so harshly, they were forced to seal the windows shut. The doors to the outside could not be opened, as they were under at least a dozen feet of snow. The wind howled with such a pitch that it sent fear into even the most hardened souls. This was not a normal storm. Sarah sat beside her daughter, who had not moved for the past two days. She was still breathing, but she had not eaten or drank water. Sarah's grandfather knelt beside both of them, waiting out the storm with them. Sarah's husband had never returned home before the storm hit and she was beginning to wonder if he was even still alive.
"Grandpa... what is going on?"
"I do not know. A storm like this... even I have not experienced."
A sudden thud on the roof caused both of them to jolt and look up. It was as if something was walking on the roof, perhaps unaware that the roof was not the ground due to how high the snow had become. A small poro fell through the chimney. Sarah moved over to look at it, but she realized quickly that it was dead. It had froze to death.
"Grandpa, it's frozen. What... what is this? Poros... they... they don't freeze."
Sarah's grandfather face went pale as he tried to figure out how a poro had froze to death, causing him to pace to the other side of the room. Another thud on the roof interrupted their thoughts. The roof began to creak until, suddenly, it collapsed. The full brunt of the storm poured into the house.
"Sandra! Sandra, we have to leave."
The young girl did not respond. She still did not move. Sarah picked up her daughter and began to look around for her grandfather. He was nowhere in sight. However, a large amount of red snow sat where he used to sit. Sarah slowly walked over to where the red snow was, only to find her grandfather had been killed when the roof collapsed. Several pieces of stone had crushed his head and struck him in the chest. Tears began to form in Sarah's eyes, but she wiped them away. Sandra began to shiver again and, for the first time in two days, spoke.
"It's coming for us."
Day 5
Sarah, with Sandra wrapped in a thick blanket and being carried by Sarah, wandered through the snow, trying to escape the storm. It seemed like no matter how far she walked, it was the same. She could see nothing but white for as far she could see. The world as white and dark. The sun did not shine down on it, as if it had been extinguished by the might of the storm. She collapsed into the snow, unable to move anymore. She could hardly breath. She looked at her daughter, who did not move.
"Sandra... Sandra... Sandra... Sandra... stay... Sandra..."
Her daughter's frozen body laid in the snow beside her. Life had vanished from her body long ago, but Sarah did not want to admit it. A large shadow loomed over them. Sarah had not even heard it approach over the howl of the storm. A single, glowing blue eye gazed down onto them. Madness filled Sarah's mind as she stared into it. She began to laugh with the little strength she could muster. It couldn't be true. If it was the world was doomed. Had they really returned? They were simple myth. A mere legend from long ago. Sarah looked at it as the last bits of life faded from her body. Her body became still as she moved onto the afterlife. The large creature picked up their bodies and had it's next meal. It was starving, and it needed food. The storm continued to rage around it as it sated its appetite. The ice witch had awakened it, and now it roamed to learn of what had become of its empire. The humans would pay for imprisoning it in the abyss long ago. The Watchers had returned, and they would not be stopped this time. http://abload.de/img/wp_20151231_001lupji.jpg

GAMEPLAY PHILOSOPHY Bor'Dul is a very durable champion that functions extremely well against teams that rely on mobility as an advantage. His ability to consistently slow enemies and restrict their movement make him excellent for making sure his allies are not harmed by mobile assassins and fighters. During the laning phase, it is important to farm minions in order to gradually gain armor and magic resist, especially since your passive shielding scales off of it. Once team fights begin to occur, activating your ultimate at the beginning of each fight will help your team be able to close the gap against enemies. The gradually increasing nature of your ultimate will eventually make it cover an extremely large area, making you a menace in late game team fights that demands attention, as any Tank should.
Thank you for reading my concept and any constructive feedback is greatly appreciated!
