Core Identity Yorick is not a necromancer: he is a monster, imbued with the power to create more of his own kind. Though he is the master of his creations, and much more powerful than they, in the end, he and his ghouls are both the same type of creature.
######I know there is a lot of text here, but please do not down vote without posting a comment to explain how it could be better.
Passive - Broken Covenant Instead of Mana, Yorick uses Corpses. (Yorick begins game with 0 corpses.) Each small enemy or neutral minion enemy, which dies within 1000 of Yorick will leave a corpse lasting 4.5 seconds. If Yorick travels within 125 of such a corpse, he will pick it up, healing for 1% of his maximum healthh, and adding 1 to his corpse pool. Yorick has a maximum pool of corpses equal to 8.
Every time a large minion dies within range, Yorick will automatically raise that minion as a ghoul, without it first leaving a corpse. Maximum; 4 ghouls.
Q - Hungering Wind skill shot, range 700, width 55, through walls-yes. First enemy struck will be marked, revealing it, dealing 60/100/140/180/220 (+75% AP) magic damage over 3 seconds, and drawing nearby ghouls to attack it. The marked target will take an extra 10/14/18/22/26 (+2 /3.5 / 5 / 6.5 / 8 % bonus AD) physical damage each time they are struck by a ghoul. Cost: 2 corpses Range: 700 CD: 8 seconds
W - Bone Cache Yorick creates a Cache of undead bones granting sight in a small area. The cache is visible, with 3 hit points and is targeted as a ward. While nearby to a Bone Cache, Yorick and his ghouls will gain a stacking movement speed buff. If Yorick clicks on a nearby cache, while out of combat, he will pick up the cache, restoring 2 corpses to his pool. Maximum number of Bone Cache placed: 1/2/3/4/5. Cost: 3 corpses. Range: 300 CD: 32/30/28/26/24 seconds Sight range: 600 speed aura range: 900 bonus movement speed: +20/30/40/50/60 movement speed Duration: 3 minutes
E - For the Dead / For the Living OFF (For the Dead): Ghoul will heal for 8/10/12/14/16 % of the damage they deal. This benefit is lost while For the Living is active. ON (For the Living): Yorick commands his Ghouls to move to a selected area, and defend his allies. (Once the ghouls reach the effected area they will attack nearby allies, but will not leave that area.) While For the Living is active, Yorick's ghouls will ignore allied unit collision, While For the Living is active, Each ghoul will grow, causing it's hit box to have a diameter 20/30/40/50/60 wider. Any Projectile which travels through the space of a ghoul will have 20/30/40/50/60% of its damage redirected to the ghoul, rather >than the original target.
Range(For the Living): 1500 Area(For the Living): 300 radius Toggle Cooldown: 0.5 seconds Cost (activation): 1 corpse Cost : 1 corpse per 1.0 / 1.25 / 1.5 / 1.75 / 2.0 seconds. (cost is paid at the end of interval) ######no cast time
R - Undying Grip Yorick's next basic attack within the next 4 seconds will deal 80/110/140 bonus physical damage and stun the target for 1 second. After damaging his target, Yorick may re-activate this ability within one second to throw his victim in a targeted direction. (missile passes through terrain, and is aimed as a skill shot would be. It deals no damage on impact.) Range(skill shot): 100-500 Cooldown: 20/16/12 seconds Cost: 0 corpses.
#Strengths and Weaknesses Early game Yorick is a powerful lane opponent, with strong sustain and resistance to poke. Late game, Yorick becomes an Ideal split pusher, capable of assaulting undefended turrets without need of a minion wave.
In team fights Yorick provides valuable defense against ranged attacks, but proves vulnerable against melee dps enemies. Additionally, Yorick is highly dependent on the speed-boost from Bone Cache both for engage and disengage, meaning that he can become highly vulnerable to ganks when caught away from his chosen domain.

(lifesteal and armor pen. apply) Ghouls do not carry any on-hit effects Yorick may benefit from. Ghouls draw tower aggro to Yorick, rather than themselves, when attacking enemy champions.
when killed, these ghouls are worth 9+(Yorick's level) gold and 0 XP. If Yorick is killed, all of his ghouls die as well. No extra gold is granted for these deaths.
######Yorick begins the game with 0 ghouls, and 4 corpses.
#Lore
The Eldest of the Yori Line will lay the Dead of the Shadow Isles to their rest. Should one become unable the next must take his place—either a decedent, or sibling. So long as this circumstance is met, the descendants of Yori shall not be touched >with undeath. So long as it is not met, their protection shall instead become a curse irremovable.
The family of Yori lived in peace for a great time. They were the eyes and protectors of their community. So long as the Mori line buried the dead, the dead did not rise up to haunt them, nor to hunt them as they did elsewhere in the Shadow Isles. Nor did >the dead venture into their lands.
Normally, the responsibility as Gravedigger would never need have fallen to Yorick at all. Yorick was the Second Son, a merchant, protected by the Oath of his family, and able to travel freely, without fear of undead. Yorick's brother, however, died without bearing an heir.
Yorick, not knowing of the event, continued his travels. The first sign Yorick received of anything being amiss at all, was to wake to his own body, rotting, the hunger for man's flesh gnawing at his mind and consciousness. Paying no heed to his own state, Yorick KNEW what must have occurred. The Contract was Broken.
Returning to his home, he found exactly what he expected. a land over run with ghouls, the living barred into their homes, starving, afraid and unable to flee from their once family-members, now seeing their flesh.
Taking up his familiy's Heirloom Shovel, the symbol of their covenant, Yorick tore his own undead children, brother, and friends limb from limb, feeding his hunger with the Dead, and not the Living. Solemnly, He buried them. He laid them to their rest.
Yorick has carried out his duty since that day. Burying the dead of the Shadow Isles. Laying the Dead, and the Undead, to their final rest. In time, he found that he had greater power than this: to raise the dead, as well as laying them down; to aid the >specters in finding peace; to demand obedience, and turn their wrath away from the living.
He offers the the world the same peace and solace he has vowed to never take for his own: he offers Death, and eternal rest. And so long as he labors, he knows that his decedents will be safe.
