{{summoner:2}} I noticed that no one really uses this summoner spell. I love the spell, but can rarely justify actually taking it, because other choices almost always seem "better".

Recently, I was thinking about Trinkets item 3364 item 3361 item 3363 , and about Smite item 3711 item 3713 item 3706 item 3715 summoner 11 .

Would it be possible to give Clairvoyance the same kind of love that Smite is getting? Enhancements based on item choices? or whatnot?

Below are a few ideas, tell me what you think.

Better Trinkets

When a Player has CV, Trinket items they own gain an amo limit of 2. cooldown between uses is 1 sec, and amo recharge is equal to their normal CD. (Greater Stealth Totem gains an amo limit of 4)

Omniscient CV

CV gains an amo limit of 2, and an amo recharge time of 90. (cooldown between uses = 0) When two allied instances of CV are used in the same area (whether by the same player or separate), all stealthed units in effected area are revealed.

Stat bonus

CV grants 5% flat CDR, in addition to its active.

Trinket Flavored CV

Based on the Trinket you have purchased, CV gains one of the following benefits at level 9:

  • Warding Totem: -15 sec cooldown (total 45 sec cooldown)
  • Scrying orb: Scrying orb gains unlimited range. OR greater vision radius.
  • Sweeping lens: When CV is cast over an area containing stealthed units or wards, the viual "Eye" will turn red, and an auditory alert will sound.

Combo

any combination or alterations based on the above.

Needless complexity is needlessly complex. Ignoring the fact that the Smite changes are, themselves, needlessly complex and probably not ideal for basing ideas on, Smite is the foundation of literally an entire archetype of champion, with the idea being that them, and only them, will get stuck with it and have to adapt it to their needs (which is hugely indicative of a larger problem.) Applying that same logic to trinkets, which literally everyone should have because they're free, is completely ridiculous.

Trinkets needs to be reworked and Clairvoyance needs to be redifined as the go-to option for people NEEDING vision. Global vision, 800 Radius, and TRUE SIGHT. Ignite is the summoner spell that counters sustain, Exhaust is the summoner spell that counters DPS, Barrier is the summoner spell that counters burst, Clairvoyance should be the summoner spell that counters stealth.

item 3341item 3364 CV becomes toggle, that burns stacks while active, regenerating 1 every 3 seconds up to 100, revealing stealth within 640 + 20 per level (1000 @ 18) and a cooldown of 10 so u can't jsut flick it on and off rapidly with item 3342item 3363 CV gets reduced cooldown 2 stacks, ward limit +1, (farsight) places ward on cast item 3340item 3361item 3362 Ward limit+1, ward picks up echoes in unseen areas/stealthed champs (Rek'Sai style), upgraded picks up echoes better

To be honest, I'm the one odd person like to use{{summoner:2}} andsummoner 3 together, with support Nami, it helps a lot for spy jungler or help own teammate to seal and get the kill low health (if they like to work together with me.)

With this two spell, it lead me to GOLD 3 (:P)
