For Fun Concept: Soraka

The entire premise of this concept is to create an easy to play, simple healer with a steep mastery curve, Soraka just happens to fit in this space. Something I want to create is make everything cohesive with the entire kit with no random abilities in place, even with making the basic attack more interesting.


Attack Range: 600 units Movement: 340 units per second Attack Speed: 0.600 +5% per level Attack Damage: Low


Space Banana (Passive):

Static Cooldown: 20 seconds

Soraka hurls a giant crescent shaped attack in a straight line for her next basic attack, travelling 1200 units and dealing 70 - 200 (+70%AP) magic damage to struck enemies and restoring 30(+30%AP) mana per enemy champion struck. This reveals a large area around it as it travels.

Every second healing an allied champion or damaging an enemy champion reduces Space Banana's cooldown by 2 seconds.

Shooting Star (Q):

Cooldown: 5/4.5/4/3.5/3 seconds; Cost: 30/35/40/45/50 mana; Range: 700 / 1200 units

Soraka blasts a star at the target enemy, dealing 40/60/80/100/120(+30%AP) magic damage and then bounces toward Soraka in a straight line.

If the returning Shooting Star hits Space Banana or Astral Infusion, then it gets launched very quickly at the closest enemy, prioritizing champions, to deal 60/90/120/150/180(+70%AP) magic damage and slow it down by 50/60/70/80/90% for 1.25 seconds.

Astral Infusion (W):

Cooldown: 6 seconds; Cost: 40/45/50/55/60 mana per second; Range: 600 / 1200 units

Toggle: Soraka sends a beam of star energy attached to the target ally unit, healing it for 10/25/40/55/70(+30%AP) health per second and herself for the same amount. If an allied champion was near the mouse cursor, then it will always attach to the champion.

Moving too far away will break the beam.

Dark Light (E):

Cooldown: 16/14.5/13/11.5/10 seconds; Cost: 50/60/70/80/90 mana

For the next 1.5 seconds, Soraka causes enemies struck by Space Banana, Astral Infusion, and launched Shooting Star to be blinded and silenced, persists for 0/0.25/0.5/0.75/1 second. A launched Shooting Star stays on its target for 1 second.

Star Barrier (R):

Cooldown: 150/120/90 seconds; Cost: 100 mana; Range: Global / 600 units

Soraka creates a domed shield at the target location for 6 seconds, healing allies inside for 15/25/35(+15%AP) health per second and granting 15/20/25%(+5% per 100AP) damage reduction.

Additionally, Star Barrier has a magical touch based on the last ability cast, only one effect at a time...

Shooting Star will have it deal 80/120/160(+50%AP) magic damage per second to enemies within. Astral Infusion will have it heal 25/45/65(+25%AP) more health per second. Dark Light will have it blind and silence enemies within and persists for 0/0.5/1 second.
