Salia, the Raider

Salia is a melee/ranged hybrid champion with interesting and unique mechanics. She's designed to be a pure hybrid champion, able to do decent damage with AP and AD. I designed her to be one of the most perfect characters in terms of itemization and masteries in season 6, since the Keystone Masteries are really useful for those who can extremely effectively use both AP and AD. With less AD scaling on basic attacks, she makes up the difference between the number and 100% with an AP ratio on her basic attacks in addition to the AD ratio. I didn't post one of my other champion concepts, Sythan, on here, so before I go over her lore, I'm going to post a brief overview of Sythan's lore because the two are fairly heavily related. Sythan is a pirate who opposes Gangplank, wanting to take his money, and Salia is on his crew of pirates. Sythan was designed with a somewhat similar mechanic to Salia, but he was designed as a pure ADC. Anyone who has seen my Sythan concept on Quiz Up may say that Salia is just a rekit of him, but I hope I've made her different enough to avoid that. Anyway, let's get on with the concept.

Lore Sythan has always wanted to steal Gangplank's treasure, and I've been with him from the beginning. His ship was bought using some of my money, and his dreams are the same as mine. So, when Miss Fortune approached us with a very worthwhile deal, we knew he had to take it. He didn't even need any convincing, he knew it too. What he did need convincing for, though, was that he couldn't do it alone. The deal was, kill Gangplank and give Miss Fortune the bounty. In exchange, we get to keep Gangplank's treasure and all of the crew gets their bounty cleared in the eyes of the hunters. It was a clear answer; we were only in it for Gangplank's fortune. We didn't need the bounty too. Sythan decided to do a stealth mission. He'd get on board GP's ship, and assassinate him down without anybody noticing he was there. Problem was, he wanted to do it solo, and he couldn't be told no. "My daggers and throwing knives are so much quieter than your gunblades," he told me when I told him I was going with. "You shoot him and the whole crew will know." "GunBLADES," I said. "They transform between revolvers and daggers. And I'm way better at sneaking than you." "Listen, Salia, I need you to stay here. I'll call the ship if I get in trouble, and I need you to lead the ship in that case. You're my second in command, and there's nobody else on this ship I'd entrust the whole thing to in the event that something went wrong. The rest of the crew is good, but not that good." He was caught fairly quickly after he infiltrated the ship, he told us when we got him back. It all went nuts as soon as we crashed the ship against Plank's. When we got him back, he told us he was going to join the League to get some practice in against Plank. When he's strong enough to beat the pirate, he'll fight him again in real combat. I told him I was coming with again, and again he convinced me otherwise. That is, until a few weeks after he joined. He told me he needed someone else in the League with him, that he couldn't beat Gangplank. He wanted to practice a double-team style with me. So, I joined up, and now, here I am.

Kit First off, before I do anything else, don't tell me that lore was bad. I know I never told anyone Sythan's lore, but I'll post him on here eventually. I know it wasn't the greatest, I was kind of expecting that. Just don't complain about it. It's lore for her, and that's enough since I don't usually post lore behind my champions. Oh, and her raw numbers may not be the best. I'm not very good with them.

Anyways, Passive: Pirate's Gunblades Salia uses twin gunblades, and has 2 forms, melee and ranged. In melee form, she uses energy as a resource, having 200 energy to work with. It ranged, she uses bullets for both spells and basic attacks. 1 bullet per basic attack. In addition, her basic attack damage is a bit messed up. She has in ranged form 60% AD scaling on her basic attacks and 25% AP scaling. In melee, she has 90% AD and 10% AP scaling. Her cooldowns are not shared between forms. Bullets are collected by finding bullet caches, which spawn in a 2000 unit range around her. Mousing over the ability will show the range in which bullets can spawn and a tooltip shows the amount of the other form's resource she has. Energy will not regenerate while in ranged form. Running out of bullets will automatically switch you into melee form. She stores 12 bullets and will respawn with all 12 and refill all 12 upon returning to base.

Q (Ranged): Blade Rush Salia dashes to a target enemy, switching her guns into blade form and stabbing them, dealing damage. This will switch her into melee form. Range: 400 Damage: 50/75/100/125/150 (+60% AP) (+50% AD) Cost: 20 Energy Cooldown: 8 seconds Q (Melee): Gunslinger Salia dashes backward 550 units, switching her blades to gun form and shooting twice in a line in front of her. If she is out of bullets, the ranged form of this ability will cast instead. Range (Bullets): 600 Damage per bullet (The first bullet fires at the start of the dash while the second fires at the end; they deal their damage separately): 30/40/50/60/70 (+80% AD) (+40% AP) Cost: 2 bullets Cooldown: 10 seconds

W (Ranged): Aim for the Knees Salia's next basic attack will deal a small amount more damage and apply a stack to its target. Her next basic attacks against that target will also apply stacks, and at 3 stacks, they are all consumed to deal extra damage and slow the target. And yes, the name is 100% a Skyrim reference. Extra damage: 10/15/20/25/30% AP Cost: 1 bullet to activate (The basic attack will consume another bullet, so technically 2 bullets) Cooldown: 10 seconds W (Melee): Triple Threat Salia will strike her target twice, then strike a third time in an area of effect around her, dealing damage per strike. If the target has a stack on them from the ranged form of this ability, they are stunned for 1 second when it ends if they were hit by all 3 strikes. It has an escape range and anything that'll interrupt a channel in the middle of the ability will stop it. Range (Activation): 150 Range (Escape): 350 (The enemy has to get 350 units away from the original point where Salia used the ability to stop it early) Damage per hit: 15/30/45/60/75 (+30% AP) (+35% AD) Cost: 40 Energy Cooldown: 14/13.5/13/12.5/12 seconds

E (Ranged): Powerhouse Salia marks a target. Damaging the target while in melee form will trigger the mark, giving the attack a % missing health ratio on it. If it kills the target, Salia will gain movement speed that decays over a few seconds and an extra 2 gold. Range: 575 Damage: the attack will deal 125% what it would have normally plus a % missing health ratio. Cost: no cost Cooldown: 20 seconds E (Melee): Bladed Strike Salia marks a target. Damaging the target while in ranged form will trigger the mark, dealing extra damage based on a % of the target's current health. Range: 575 Damage: 30/35/40/45/50% AD +3% (+6% AP) target's current health. The AP ratio modifies the % current health buff. Cost: 20 Energy Cooldown: 20 seconds

R: Gunblader's Power In either melee or ranged form, will channel for a 3 seconds. During the channel, reactivate this ability and target an enemy to mark the enemy, can be done up to 5 times. When the channel ends, Salia will dash to the enemies marked and deal damage (changes depending on melee or ranged form) and will interact differently there depending on melee or ranged form. In ranged form, she will run around the enemy while firing bullets into them. In melee form, she will remain stationary in front of the targets while striking them. Each target is struck a total of 4 times for both forms. CC that interrupts channels can stop her while she's performing this ability. If used in ranged form, she will be 300 units away of the targets while running around them. Will refill her bullets at the end of the ability. Range: 800 Damage: Melee: 200/250/300 (+90% AD) (+10% AP) Ranged: 75/150/225 (+60% AD) (+25% AP) Cost: 60 Energy Cooldown: 150 seconds

Well, there's Salia. Art will be up after I make it, which will probably be tomorrow sometime. Tonight, I wanna play some Skyrim. Any feedback is always appreciated and thanks for reading my concept.
