Champion kit #26, spear-thrower Specialist
Hello you people, I'm FúrinKazan and, although a level 10 account, I'm actually close to 400 in the BR server. I recently tried to reach out to Riot about my projects for League of Legends, but unfortunately they only deal with graduated people.
Anyway, the projects I made for the game have no use anymore so I decided to publish them all. They are champion kits, counting up to 120 with unique abilities, defined classes, gameplay and numbers for those who like. The idea is to publish one champion per day until April. I also have some champion updades and they might show up sometimes.
I see a lot of good and creative kit concepts and reworks everywhere on the internet. However, if its gameplay is not coherent, it's not a champion. If numbers are not right, it won't work. Riot abandons a lot of cool fantasies because they end up failing at executon, so I bring you the abilities instead, for people to imagine a theme as they want. Here we go (leave a comment and take a look at my older posts!):
- Motoharu Kikkawa (names are merely for inspiration and representation). Designed to be a toplaner with great poke.
- Specialist core traits: abilities that fit well together, yet don't fit any specific class
Passive: Motoharu is extremely skilled in Spear combat and enters the battlefield with one at hand, using it for his attacks and abilities. Every time Motoharu interacts with a Spear through his abilities, he gains bonus Movement Speed for 1 second. Additionally, dealing spell damage to enemy champions grants Motoharu 6% additional AD for 5 seconds, stacking up to 5 times. Refreshes on additional applications and basic attacks.
After throwing a Spear with the 1st Skill, Motoharu becomes disarmed until he gets a new one.
-Bonus Movement Speed: 20/30/40% at levels 1/7/13
1st Skill: Spear at hand: Motoharu channels for a second (during which he can move) before throwing his Spear in a line, passing through enemies, stopping at the first enemy champion hit and dealing damage to all. The Spear sticks to the enemy champion for up to 3.5 seconds and slows. Marked enemy champions can be targeted by the 2nd Skill to retrieve the Spear, dealing damage.
The ability itself has no Cooldown and can be used whenever Motoharu has a Spear at hand. However, the Spear cannot stick to the same enemy champion again within 8 seconds (reduced by Cooldown Reduction).
Empty-handed: Motoharu targets one of the Spears fixed in the ground to grab and then throw it in a line, the same effect as the normal cast. This Spear, however, never sticks to an enemy champion. Has no Cooldown.
-Damage (throw): 40/80/120/160/200 (+ 120% AD) as Physical Damage -Slow (throw): 40/45/50/55/60% for 1.5 seconds -Damage (retrieval): (8% AD)% of enemy champion's Maximum Health as Physical Damage
2nd Skill: Passive: Whenever this ability is cast, Motoharu receives bonus Attack Speed for 3 seconds. Also, he gains a shield and his basic attacks restore Health for the same duration, but these two bonuses cannot happen again within 16/13/10 seconds at levels 1/7/13.
Spear at hand: Motoharu instantly gains all the bonuses available.
Empty-handed: Motoharu can target Spears fixed on the ground and those stuck in enemy champions to pick them up. If the target is a marked enemy champion, he takes damage. When targeting Spears fixed in the ground, Motoharu also spins it around himself, dealing damage and slowing enemies hit (scales with the Ultimate's rank).
-Bonus Attack Speed: 30/35/40/45/50% -Shield value: 60/100/140/180/220 (+ 60% AD Bônus) -Health restored per attack: 8 [+ 6 per level until 13, then + 8 per level (máximo de 120)] -CD: 4 seconds
3rd Skill: Spear at hand: Motoharu fastly leaps towards the targeted nearby Spear that is fixed on the ground. Upon arrival, Motoharu slows down while he hangs on the Spear for 1 second, time which he has to chose a direction he may advance. Motoharu then advances in a line, stopping at the first enemy he collides with, dealing damage and stunning it for 1 second.
Empty-handed: Motoharu leaps towards a targeted Spear fixed on the ground.
-Damage (Spear at hand): 80/130/180/230/280 (+ 80% Bonus AD) as Physical Damage -CD: 18/17/16/15/14 seconds
Ultimate: Motoharu targets a position on the ground where a new Spear will be fixed after 0.75 second. Enemy champions may destroy fixed Spears by basic attacking them at melee range (at least 3 seconds after they have been placed). The number of Spears fixed at the same time cannot surpass a certain limit.
Spears fixed on the ground can be targeted by the 2nd Skill, causing Motoharu to pick it up and spin it around himself, dealing damage and slowing enemies hit.
This ability is available from level 1 and has no cast time.
