[Champion Concept] Trystain, The Fae-Knight
Again a Champion concept of mine :D (Others: Chayon, The Shepherd of the Afterlife, Sham,a, The Candle Maker, Puck, The Adventurous Sprite, Ethea, The Primordial Spirit and Librea, The Spirits Conduit for instance). I hope you all will like it!!
This is my first attempt at a Fighter/Assasin champion...I have no idea which one it is and I found the scaling pretty tricky...I usually make AP based champions and since I don't regularly play AD champs I find it hard to calculate how the damage should scale with AD. Tell me if i did good or if i should change some things :D
More quotes and the like will follow!!
**Name:**Prince Trystain Gender: Male Race: Fea (Royalty) Birthplace: The Fae Lands
Lore: Long, very long ago. In days before Demacia and Noxus, back when the ancient empire of Shurima was but a mere settlement and Ionia had not even been touched by human hands, there lived strange creatures in the dense and remote forests of Runeterra. These forests, known now as Glades, were places where the ancient magic of the world still lingered, bending time and space like it was dough. In the places, creatures of magic thrived that had no origin known to man. These creatures called themselves “The Fae”. Many and various they were, living all together in these little pockets of forest, rarely venturing out into the normal world. And over these creatures, two beings ruled, though ruling would be a bit of an overstatement. Naming themselves “King Oberon” and “Queen Mab”, these beings were polar opposites of each other. King Oberon was the self proclaimed king of the Seelie Fae, who were like him jolly, carefree and cunning creatures of light that thought themselves superior to everything. Queen Mab on the other hand was a blunt creature, with little subtlety but always honest and well versed in the dark magics of the world. She fancied herself the queen and protector of the Unseelie Fae who were like her in many ways. They lived together for a long time, balancing each other out in their rule. They even had a son, Prince Trystain. Little Trystain had characteristics of both his parents. He was carefree, cunning and handsome like his father plus strong and honest like his mother. The Fae Folk delighted in him, as he was the link that brought together the two courts of Fae. But the dream was not to be… One day, as young Trystain was traveling through the Glade he lived in, a human happened upon the same forest. Trystain, ever curious, spoke with the stranger, seeing no harm in telling him all about his world and learning from the human world in turn. The human however…was a greedy man. He was a power-hungry warlock, with his eyes on the powerful magic that flowed through the area and the Fae folk. A few days after the meeting, the man came back and this time he had brought a whole army. With little to defend themselves with, the Fae in the Glade quickly fell to the warlock, until he came to the royal palace. Only the combined strength of both Oberon and Mab could bring the warlock down. But the human mage had tainted the hearts of the royal pair. They began to quibble…quibbling turned into fighting and eventualy the other Fae joined in on either side. Trystain quickly jumped between his parents, begging them to stop, for the fight was about to turn into an outright war. Oberon and Mab saw that he was right. After glaring angrily at each other one more time the two split and both went to either side of their world, taking their half of the Fae with them. Distraught about what happened, Trystain swore he would bring the now two courts of Fae back together. He traveled the Fae lands and created two swords, symbolising the two halves that needed to be whole again. One representing the bright pride of the Seelie Fae, named Castor and one representing the dark honesty of the Unseelie Fae, named Pollux. In his search for peace and balance, Trystain traveled to the world of man and found the summoners of the league of legends. Wanting to learn more of the peaceful way they resolve conflicts, he joined his kin Puck and Pix (from Lulu) in the roster, fighting for all that is right and to ultimately reunite his parents.
Appearance: See picture, it is not my art though. His swords would be the colours that are described in his Q. His voice would be clear and melodic, yet masculine.
Quotes:
Moving: "There and back again." "To reunite the Fae lands!!" "Short cuts make long delays." "May my feet bear me where the sun sails and the moon walks." "There are no safe paths in this part of the world." "The road goes ever on and on."
Attacking: "Feel my blade!!" (When wielding Castor) "For King Oberon!!" (When Wielding Pollux) "For Queen Mab!!"
Jokes: "Light and dark...I only think in shades of grey...[Sighs] no not THOSE shades of grey..." "Two swords...hmmm....I could also just kick you..." (With Garen in game) "I like big swords...I cannot lie..."
Taunts: "I am Fae royalty...Older then you are and every will be....Now what were you planning on fighting me with?" "One sword is named Castor...The other is Pollux...Real names tell you the story of the things they belong to."
When killing an enemy champion: "Thats [number of kills] points for me." (reference to Legolas and Gimli's kill count game)
Passive, Sword Mastery: Trystain passively gains attack speed, the longer he uses one single sword. He gains 5% attack speed for every 5 seconds he is in combat with either Castor or Pollux. The attack speed stacks until it caps at 70%.
Q, Armour Rend: Wielding Castor: Trystain strikes forward with his blade, dealing (70 / 115 / 160 / 205 / 250 + 85% AD + 65% AP) magic damage in a cone plus bonus damage to all targets based on the amount of extra magic resist the target has in comparison to their armor (1% AD and 1% AP for every +1 difference in magic resist). Wielding Pollux: Trystain strikes forward with his blade, dealing (70 / 115 / 160 / 205 / 250 + 85% AD + 65% AP) physical damage in a cone plus bonus damage to all targets based on the amount of extra armor the target has in comparison to their magic resist (1% AD and 1% AP for every +1 difference in armor).
W, Elven Edge: Wielding Castor: Trystain embeds Castor into an enemy champion with great force, dealing 40 / 50 / 60 / 70 / 80 (+ 65% AD + 45% AP) magic damage. The target enemy is then slowed by 60% / 65% / 70% / 75% / 80% while Castor is embedded in his enemy. Trystain will use Pollux during this period, gaining its effects and abilities. Trystain can retrieve Castor by reactivating the ability but the slow will periodically diminish within 2 seconds. Castor is automatically retrieved after 3 / 3.25 / 3.5 / 3.72 / 4 seconds, or if Trystain leaves a certain range. **Wielding Pollux:**Trystain embeds Pollux into an enemy champion with great force, dealing 40 / 50 / 60 / 70 / 80 (+ 65% AD + 45% AP) physical damage. The target enemy is then slowed by 60% / 65% / 70% / 75% / 80% while Pollux is embedded in his enemy. Trystain will use Castor during this period, gaining its effects and abilities. Trystain can retrieve Pollux by reactivating the ability while within melee range, but the slow will periodically diminish within 2 seconds. Pollux is automatically retrieved after 3 / 3.25 / 3.5 / 3.72 / 4 seconds, or if Trystain leaves a certain range.
E, Fae Trickery: (This ability applies on hit effects upon impact (thats only the targeted enemy, not the ones he hits on the way) and can critical hit.) Wielding Castor: Trystain flashes towards a target in a blast of light, dealing (35 / 45 / 55 / 65 / 75 + 50% AD) magic damage to all enemies in his path and (60 / 105 / 150 / 195 / 240 + 125% AD) on impact. All hit enemies are also blinded for 1.5 / 1.75 / 2 / 2.25 / 2.5 seconds. For a brief period of 1 second after impact, he can right click on a enemy target in range and dash a second time, without the blinding effect. Wielding Pollux: Trystain becomes one with the shadows. He becomes stealthed and gains 30% movement speed for 3 / 3.5 / 4 / 4.5 / 5 seconds. While stealthed he can dash towards a target, dealing (35 / 45 / 55 / 65 / 75 + 50% AD) physical damage to all enemies in his path and (60 / 105 / 150 / 195 / 240 + 125% AD) on impact.
R, Seelie/Unseelie blade: (Trystain starts with one point in this ability at the start of the game.) Passive: Trystains cunning grants him 5% / 15% / 25% critical strike chance Active: Tristain switches between his two swords. The attack speed percentage built up with his passive is converted into a percentage bonus magic (when changing to Castor) or physical (when changing to Pollux) damage upon his next auto-attack within 5 seconds. (So that is 70% bonus damage with full stacks in his passive). Seelie blade: Trystain uses his white and silver sword Castor, made by beings of light. His auto attacks deal magic damage (100% / 110% / 120% of AD) to a target and critical strikes will create a blast of magic light in a small area around the target champion, dealing magic damage (25% / 35% / 45% of the critical strike) to all hit enemies. Unseelie blade: Trystain uses his black and gold sword Pollux, made by beings of night. His auto attacks deal physical damage (100% / 110% / 120% of AD) to a target and critical strikes bleed them for 10% / 20% / 30% of the damage done in physical damage per second over a period of 5 seconds (effect does not stack). A target is then immune for the effect for 5 seconds.
