Making Swain the Master Tactician by giving him special bonuses for using smart ping.

There is no secret that Swain lacks strategical or tactical gameplay besides morphing and killing people.

So what if Swain... The MASTER TACTICIAN... Had pings that did more than just ping? Because what other way can people actually lead/guide other players to do what they want in this game besides pings?

So my Idea is that every time swain issues a ping it becomes a NOXIAN COMMAND. He can use NOXIAN COMMAND every 30 seconds.

These pings will look similar to what they do now, but they will be distinct enough for player to know Swain is leading the charge!

Soooooo

Lets say that Swains "on my way" ping will boost his allies if they walk towards his "on my way" ping. This is usefull for tactical retreats and strategic map movements.

Lets say that his "Danger" ping gives allies a slight defensive boost in the area of danger.

What if when swain issues a command on a enemy player or objective to focus down. That enemy player or objective will receive more damage from Swain and his Allies.

Enemy missing could function as a blue trinket.

Assist me can bolster your allies offensive power inside the area where you wanted assist.

I am just spittballing ideas here, but the concept is that Swain can empower his team in some way by issuing "NOXIAN COMMANDS" every 30 or X seconds at them.

Enemy missing is a clairvoyance spell then. This sounds pretty cool with map interaction.

It's a good idea, but I think the commands should be issued through his abilities rather than pings. Inexperienced players literally would not know about half his kit.

You know how Kindred got a new window to mark targets? Do that for him to set a champion for your team to focus. One or more of his abilities can be used to target objectives maybe.

i like the idea of a champion gaining a special something pinging, but what if the playing is super horrible..these ideas might turn out to be a hindrance. while on the subject, what if we got some gold if an enemy walks over our ward? this will not only encourage warding, but benefit Smart warding.

Cool idea, but I honestly think it's too complex for this particular game.

I also agree that he doesn't feel entirely too tactical, but I would rather they change his title than his playstyle. His playstyle is already so unique, and this ping system doesn't enforce his current kit too well. Just a thought.

Little too difficult to do. Also someone posted the best reasoning for why Swain's kit is sorta "lacking tactical flare" is that it's a ploy. You don't expect a ruthless insanely dangerous general in person, that's what Swain is, he's able to kill the would be assassin and even trick them into thinking they got to him unnoticed just so he could destroy them as a warning to any others that he's far from a crippled Noxian.

Think I got the gist of it.
