Hey peeps :D Thanks for looking at my champion concept!! I've made a few more Chayon, The Shepherd of the Afterlife, Juniper, The Forest Guardian, Trystain, The Fae-Knight and Sham'a, The Candle-Maker

This idea is nowhere near done (i still have to work on the lore and the quotes) but i was curious what you all thought about her passive and overal kit. Feedback and tips are always welcome :D

Name: Librea **Gender: **Female **Race: **Human **Birthplace: **Ionia

Lore: Born on a day the sun and the moon where both at their peeks, while rain doused the ground with water and the wind seemed to come from all places at once, it was obvious that Librea was going to be a very special child. She did not cry after being born. She just looked around, staring at invisible things. It was apparent at an early time that spirits spoke to Librea. She was taken in by monks of a wuju temple that would guide her on a path of balance, making sure she wouldn’t harm herself or anyone else. As she grew older, she learned to control the spirits of creation to help others. With her powers she healed the sick and created vessels for spirits to do heavy lifting and help protect the temple. This however…seemed not enough. As the Noxian army invaded Ionia, they came closer and closer to the temple that Librea called home. When the day came that they finally attacked, Librea was there on the battlefield, using her gift to assist the Wuju monks in the protection of the temple and the village close to it. It wasn’t meant to be however. As one monk after the other was cut down, Librea started to lose hope. At last she found herself the only Ionian left in the temple. As her heart sank, a voice whispered in her ear, calling her to let them in, to lose control and show the Noxians the power of Ionia. Devoid of hope and desperate for revenge she listened…and let it in. Powerful magic started to flow through her as she opened herself for the spirits of destruction to spill chaos into the world. With their power, she drove away the Noxian forces and liberated the region. It took her some days and a lot of willpower to close herself off again from the spirits of destruction. She did not think that she would be able to reach the same level of control she had had before the attack. Thus, she traveled to Runeterra and to the summoners of the league of legends. There they offered her a way to keep her balance and use her powers for peace.

Appearance: I don’t have any idea what she will look like yet, but I believe that her shifting from side to side should be apparent in her appearance. Her voice would start out normal and change to either demonic (Syndra ish) to angelic (Sona ish) depending on her choice of spirit.

Joke: Turns her head side to side like she's listening for a faint noise "All I'm getting is static. They're here..." "Yes, I know you go bump in the night, but right now I need Boom." "What happens when Objects of Creation and Destruction cross a road?... OBSTRUCTION!!"

Casting Equilibrium: (Channel) "Guard Life, Banish Death" (Leveling to Rank 1) - "There will be peace." (Leveling to Rank 2) - "Soon, I must choose."

Casting Sacrifice (Creation): (Upon being claimed) "We are a daughter of Creation." (Channel) "To honor Their Sacrifice..." This is heard by all her allies. (Release) "Creation, sustain their lives!" (Like Nocturn's "Darkness")

Casting Sacrifice (Destruction): (Upon being claimed) "We walk the path of Destruction." (Channel) "To reconcile Their Defeat..." This is heard by all her allies. (Release) "Destruction, Rend their defenses." This is heard globally (Like Nocturn's "Darkness")

Passive: Balanced spirits. Using her powers for either creation or destruction will tip Librea’s spiritual scale towards either side to a maximum of 5 stacks in each direction. Each stack in one direction will grant Librea different buffs and strengthens certain aspects of her abilities. Once she levels Equilibrium for the third time, the spirits will claim her for either side she has the most stacks in at that time, granting her Sacrifice as an ultimate ability.

The scale goes from 5 points in Creation on one side to 5 points in Destruction on the other side. In the middle is 0, meaning neutral.

Creation:

  • 1 point: Life cost of shielding allies with Life Energies is reduced by 1% and Spirits Grace creature has 5% AP as bonus health.
  • 2 points: Life cost of shielding allies with Life Energies is reduced by 2% and Spirits Grace creature has 10% AP as bonus health.
  • 3 points: Life cost of shielding allies with Life Energies is reduced by 3% and Spirits Grace creature has 15% AP as bonus health.
  • 4 points: Life cost of shielding allies with Life Energies is reduced by 4% and Spirits Grace creature has 20% AP as bonus health.
  • 5 points: Life cost of shielding allies with Life Energies is reduced by 5% and Spirits Grace creature has 25% AP as bonus health.

Destruction:

  • 1 point: Shield gained by draining enemies with Life Energies increases in power by 5% and Spirits Power radius is increased.
  • 2 points: Shield gained by draining enemies with Life Energies increases in power by 10% and Spirits Power radius is increased.
  • 3 points: Shield gained by draining enemies with Life Energies increases in power by 15% and Spirits Power radius is increased.
  • 4 points: Shield gained by draining enemies with Life Energies increases in power by 20% and Spirits Power radius is increased.
  • 5 points: Shield gained by draining enemies with Life Energies increases in power by 25% and Spirits Power radius is increased.

Once Librea is claimed by the spirits of Creation, she can no longer use the active effect of her W but gains the Passive effect. Being claimed by the spirits of Destruction will disable the active of her E but activate the passive effect of that ability.

Q, Life Energies: This ability can either be cast on an ally or on an enemy. When cast on an ally: Librea sacrifices 10% of her maximum health to grant it to an ally in the form of a shield. If the shield is completely consumed by damage within 5 seconds, half of the shielded health is healed to the target. If the shield is not consumed in 5 seconds, it simply disappears. Casting Life Energies on an ally counts towards Creation, unless she has already been claimed. The health cost of Life energies is reduced by 1% for every stack in Creation. The health healed to an ally will stay the same. When cast on an enemy: Librea siphons 65 / 95 / 125 / 155 / 185 (+25% AP) health from an enemy unit granting it to herself in the form of a shield. If the shield is completely consumed by damage within 5 seconds, half of the shielded health is healed to her. If the shield is not consumed in 5 seconds, it simply disappears. Casting Life Energies on an enemy counts towards Destruction, unless she has already been claimed. The power of the shield grows with 5% for every stack in Destruction.

W, Spirits Power: If the spirits claim Librea for Creation, she can no longer activate this ability. The passive will go into effect in stead. Active: Librea channels the power of a destructive spirit into the physical world, unleashing its power in a concentrated blast. She first conjures up a spirit at a target location. The spirit will then gather energy for a maximum of 3 seconds, after which it explodes, dealing 70 / 115 / 160 / 205 / 250 (+ 60% AP) AoE magic damage + 10% bonus magic damage for every second charged. The blast then travels further outward for two more shots, each dealing 15% less damage. She can detonate the blast prematurely when she reactivates the ability. Casting Spirits Power counts towards Destruction. The radius of damage is increased with every stack in Destruction. Passive: Librea passively gathers spirit energies from living things around her. When she has gathered enough energy (every 15 seconds), her next auto attack will deal 85 (+10% AP) bonus magic damage and slows (20% +5% / 100 AP) an enemy for 2 / 2.5 / 3 / 3.5 / 4 seconds.

E, Spirits Grace: If the spirits claim Librea for Destruction, she can no longer activate this ability. The passive will go into effect in stead. Active: Librea creates a physical body out of clay and roots for a spirit of Creation to inhabit. This spirit will have 100 / 200 / 300 / 400 / 500 (+ 10% AP) health and can be controled by holding down the E button while clicking. Upon command, the spirit will attack (10% of Librea’s AP in magic damage) and slow (10% for 2 seconds, renews with every attack) an enemy target or follow an allied target around and shield them from the first ability that hits them. The creature will disappear when its health reaches 0 or if it deflects an ability for an ally. Casting Spirits Grace counts towards Creation. Every stack in Creation will increase the percentage of AP that gives the creature bonus health by 5%. Passive: Librea allows a destructive spirit to empower her body. She gains 1% movement speed for every death (minion, monster or champion on either side) she witnesses (meaning: happening in her field of vision), capping at 25% bonus movement speed. She loses the buff when she dies herself.

R, Equilibrium/Sacrifice: For the first 2 levels of this ability it is called Equilibrium. After the third level, Librea is claimed for either Creation or Destruction, changing this ability into Sacrifice with a new effect on either side. Unlike a Soraka heal, the Sacrifice ability can kill Librea if she does not have enough health. If this happens she will go through the channel and release of the spell, but will die afterwards. If she dies with casting Sacrifice, the ability is empowered. Equilibrium: Librea summons the spirits of Destruction and Creation into the physical world. Their influence cancels each other out, creating an area of peace where there is no change in health (so no heals or damage) for both teams for 5 seconds. Sacrifice for Creation: Librea has been claimed for Creation and has banished all traces of Destruction from her body. She sacrifices 25% of her maximum health while she channels for 3 seconds, after which she globally shields all her allies for 50% (thus 12.5% of het max health) of the sacrificed amount each and grants them a 20% bonus in movement speed for 5 seconds. If Librea dies with casting Sacrifice, her allies will all be healed with 75% of their missing health before being shielded. Sacrifice for Destruction: Librea has been claimed for Destruction and has banished all traces of creation from her body. She sacrifices 25% of her maximum health while she channels for 3 seconds, after which she curses all enemy champions with 25% increased damage from all sources and a 20% slow for 5 seconds. If Librea dies with casting Sacrifice, the extra damage her enemies get from this ability will turn into true damage during the entirety of the duration.

The Sacrifice (Destruction) ult is probably the strongest single ability in the entire game. Vladimir's ultimate is a close-range skillshot that does half the effect for sixty times shorter. In terms of catching power, the slow is equal to a global Sivir ult. Again, for about forty times longer. That said, the story and kit are really interesting, although I might like to see the Creation/Destruction thing be more fluid; the abilities are influenced based on where you are NOW, rather than an irrevocable decision made at Level 16. Great work!

I just realised it says "minutes" in stead of "seconds" in the description of her Destruction ult...that is a big mistake on my part ^^' i never planned it being minutes long xP And the abilities are a little bit influenced by her scale and when she is claimed for either side, they change permanently....what exactly do you mean by "more fluid"?

Anyway, thanks A LOT for the feedback :D i will review her kit accordingly, and id love to hear your thoughts on the changes when im done :D Also: maybe take a look at my other champion concepts? :P

I really like the creativity behind this champion. Some quick things that I found interesting...

-Her Q might as well be a heal if it becomes a shield, then heals whatever is not taken. As a counter to that, It should become a shield and heal only if the entire shield has been destroyed, but after 5 seconds.

-The ult is also pretty cool, but I don't understand how you would choose either destruction or creation. Another possibility that i was thinking of was that if she uses her ult, loses 25%, and is still alive, that should be creation. And if she uses her ult loses 25% and dies, it would be destruction.

Thanks for the feedback :D you are right that it might as well be a heal...i didn't think that through enough and i will review that part of her kit accordingly. Your idea for the shield to heal only when its broken sounds amazing :)

Interesting idea for the ultimate :D I planned it to be a difference between either a support build (creation) or an APC build (destruction) seeing as she can either effect her allies to save them or her enemies to defeat them. FYI, it says minutes in the description of her destruction ultimate...thats supposed to be seconds...i typed that by mistake i think...

I'm not really grasping onto how the scale works, but the abilities sound unique and great overall. The only thing I would change is her destruction ult. I mean, who would take a 5 second creation ult when you can take a 5 MINUTE destruction ult? I would either change it completely or make the destruction ult last for 5 seconds.

In terms of the scale, what happens when she gets max stacks for either side? Like what happens before the third level of the ultimate?

Yea the destruction side of her ultimate was supposed to say seconds...but i probably was somewhere else with my mind...thanks for pointing that out though XP Her abilities scale with a point in either side of the spectrum :P when she uses her W for instance she gets one point in destruction...if she then uses her Q to shield an ally the scale tips towards creation, thus evening out the points....repeatedly getting points in creation will make her shield for allies and her E stronger and the same goes for destruction, shielding herself and her W. I had a tip from one of the other people that reviewed her to maybe make getting full stacks on either side more significant...maybe that the passive effect of her W and E would come in earlier then...but i still have to think about that.

Anyway, thanks for the feedback :D i'd love to hear your thoughts on her when i have finished reviewing your tips!! in the meantime: maybe take a look at my other champion concepts? :P

I Love this idea so much! I'm guessing mid laner or support?

Only thing is that I definitely need some sort of chart or something to understand the differences between her Creation and Destruction sides... but that's only because I'm not a very smart person :/

Thanks :D Yea she would be a support or midlaner depending on how you chose to play her :) I will make a chart that will show the effects of her passive on her abilities :D Other people have asked for it so keep an eye out for it :) Thanks again for liking my concept :D maybe you should take a look to one of my other concepts (Sham'a, The Candle-Maker for example) they are mostly done with Lore and Quotes and scaling and stuff :)

I really enjoy the minigame of balancing Creation and Destruction. It's extremely unique and inspired. Even though her kit is affected by her scale it isn't overloaded. If you don't mind I would like to create some quotes for her.

I feel like it would be nice for her Quotes to reflect her personality before and after she is Claimed. Librea seems like a calm and logical person to me so her quotes are very neutral, like the old Karma. When she is claimed she uses the royal we to emphasize the collective spirits that now speak through her. You like?

O dear glorious heaven these are amazing :D I had not decided on her character but you make a strong case :D I could never have done this by myself!!! Copying it in right now :P Where did you get your inspiration? The quotes i make for my champions rarely leave me so moved as these do :P The only thing i changed was the lay out of the quotes to match it more to how i usually do my quotes :P I also mentioned you at the end. Thanks A lot!!! The Inspiration was almost entirely from the lore. The fact that she was raised by monks, who raised her as a child not a DAUGHTER, which lends itself to her reserved and sometime emotionally detached personality. She didn't have a human mother, but she had the Spirits of Creation constantly guiding her and they are both mother and father, both sister and brother, etc. So she knows the beauty of love and forgiveness, even if she had never felt such things before watching the fall of "Her" monks.

The monks taught her to appreciate the natural way of things and balance, while Creation instilled a sincere obligation to conceive of the future.

When she heard the voices of Destruction, they overwhelmed her almost completely. This is why her Destruction quotes are malevolent, malicious, and just downright evil. She has known anger, impatience, and discontent before, but never had she encountered such unbridled HATRED and glee in unadulterated Annihilation.

Above all I didn't want it to seem like Creation and Destruction were enemies, they aren't. They enable each other and are simply opposite in nature. i also didn't want it to seem like Creation was all good and Destruction was all bad, they have flaws:

  1. In Creation is a complete disregard for the consequences of their contructs for the world.
  2. In Destruction is the need to judge and persecute without bias and to bring about an End of a process or cycle.
  3. In Creation is an almost aloof attitude towards the created, and an intense focus on the yet to be conceived.
  4. In Destruction is a ridiculously deep emotional investment in everything destroyed, and a distaste for the careless disregard of all that is succeeded.

I'm game if you are. I'm terrible at creating concepts for myself, but, as you can see, I excel at exploring and fleshing out others'. We really should do this more often. Your style and affable acceptance of constructive criticism makes it so easy to work with.

of course i'm game :D Is there any way we can stay in contact? like email/facebook/messenger-pigeons? Also: i happen to have the possibility to place some of my concepts directly into the hands of a rioter in the nearby future. I was thinking of picking Librea as one of those (wasn't sure at first but your quotes gave it new life as it were). Would you mind if i did that? Ofcourse i will add your name to the quotes part ^^

YEa but how xP dyou have facebook? or email? (ofcourse you have email...).

Also: i have another champion in mind, but the quotes and abilities are just not coming....ive created an ultimate that rocks but i just can't seem to think of any creative basic moves...maybe you could help with that :D

I feel like it would be nice for her Quotes to reflect her personality before and after she is Claimed. Librea seems like a calm and logical person to me so her quotes are very neutral, like the old Karma. When she is claimed she uses the royal we to emphasize the collective spirits that now speak through her. You like?
