When is the splash team gonna catch up with the champion rework team?

There have been a good amount of reworks over the last 2 years. And with each one, usually the default skin's splash art is updated; usually followed by some post saying that the splashes for the other skins will be updated as well.

But this has certainly not been the case. The first case of this was when Riot did a VU of nid and updated her splash, saying that her other splashes would also be redone. This has yet to fully happen. Her original, Snow Bunny and Leopard splashes have all been updated, but 3 other skins are still ugly as sin.

Same goes for other champs like Tristana Sion Sivir Karma Karthus Chogath Alistar

When will the splash team catch up so that we no longer have to look at splashes like Warrior Princess Sivir?

They've said they are working more towards updating the base splashes for all champions before doing work on the skins. Like a few patches ago, they swapped out a large amount of skin splashes of their Chinese art as a temporary solution. So they will get to them but it's gonna take time as they've said there's only 8-10 people that do splashes and that's 1 person per splash... so it's a lot of work.
