Malady - The Plague Mistress

Malady is a spirit of disease who revels in the suffering of the ill. Gameplay wise, she is a mage that relies heavily on AA's and her passive (which is enhanced by abilities).

Passive: Pestilent – Diseased insects fly around Malady. Enemies hit by her auto attacks or within a small radius around her, are infected. Infected enemies take magic damage DPS for 4 seconds.

Q: Hemorrhagic Fever – Infected enemies take bonus true damage. If they are then hit with Malady's AA's or are in her infection radius, the true damage doubles.

W: Necrosis – Infected enemies are slowed and their armor and magic resist is reduced by 20% for each second that it lasts. The armor and magic resist reduction lasts 1 second after the infection wears off.

**E: Swarm – ** Malady's diseased insects rapidly swarm around her and grant a shield for 2 seconds. Enemies caught in her infection radius while Swarm is up, are dealt bonus magic damage.

R: Infectious; Malady's infection radius triples for 4 seconds while infection durations are increased to 8 seconds (even if someone's infection was almost over). She can now infect both enemies and allies (aliies take no damage) while allowing them to infect each other.

Cool kit, I like most of it. here are the parts I disagree with:

{quoted}

**Q: ... Moving causes the true damage to double.

Riot likely won't implement a movement penalty like this, the reason being that it conflicts with the enemy's instinct to kite, juke, and run away. Those mechanics are too important to the core of the game, it would be anti-fun to do to players.

Maybe making it so the damage increases the closer they are to her, or increasing the damage if they move towards her. But never to run away. They would have to implement some means of counterplay to it.

R: Psychotic Paranoia – Infected enemies attack their allies.

This is too powerful, and too directly impactful. It's like an AoE stun that also makes them hurt each other. All while allowing her team to freely attack the enemy without retaliation. It was a cool idea, definitely unique and all, but you gotta find a way to do it that offers counterplay or has other trade-offs.
