(Champion Concept) Xiegen, the World Rune Demon

Instead, he uses his terrifyingly powerful base stats and abilities to destroy the enemy team. He is the most powerful baseline champion to ever appear in League of Legends by an extremely large amount, but his inability to grow in power past what he already does prevents him from working around any issues he has while in combat, meaning he must rely on his team to work around his enemy's strengths for him. In his unstable form, Xiegen could stand up to the greatest of Ascended beings in a one on one fight. In his stable form, it would take the likes of Aurelion Sol to kill the beast and nothing less.
LORE http://vignette3.wikia.nocookie.net/leagueoflegends/images/b/bb/Ionia_Master_Yi_Village.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20150909064947 Back in the days of the world's creation, sacred shards of energy came into being known today as World Runes. Hunted for far and wide by humans to gain the power they hold, World Runes were the focus of many wars and the cause of much mass destruction across Runeterra. However, even deadlier combinations of energy can branch from a World Rune. World Runes are but only shards of magic with an extreme amount of magic stored inside. They contain as much magic as over a million mages and only the most powerful mages that have ever existed can control the power of such instruments of destruction. However, World Runes are still only chunks of arcane magic. The world did not know what would happen if the spiritual energy of the world would combine with a World Rune... until that day. The darkest day of Ionia, far worse than even the beginning days of the Noxian invasion. Far worse than during the reign of the Golden Demon. Far worse than when the Order of Shadow destroyed the Kinkou Order. Far worse than any day Ionia had ever suffered. The day that evil planted it's roots into Ionia and nearly destroyed all life on Runeterra if it weren't for the combined efforts of Kusho, the leader of the old Kinkou Order, Ryze, the Rune Mage, and the many spiritual elders of old. Xiegen, the distorted beast of both arcane and spiritual energy, planted it's foot down upon Runeterra and began to ravage the planet. When a mislead Ionian elder was tricked into fueling a World Rune with the spiritual energy flowing through Ionia, all of the corrupted energy of Ionia also flowed into the World Rune. Corrupt spiritual energy and arcane magic strong enough to destroy entire nations formed a sentient being and that beast was Xiegen, who came to be known throughout history as the World Rune Demon or to others, the Great Eater of Life.
Ryze, enraged at the elder, used his arcane power to send a bolt of magic at the old man. He was knocked across the room. "I warned you what would happen if you tried to enhance something already all too powerful for a human to control! Now look at what you have done!" A scream loud enough to topple a mountain by itself shook the entire temple, causing large sections of the roof to fall down and fatally injure the monks within. With every step the beast took, waves of arcane magic pulsed through the forests of Ionia, killing all life it came in contact with. Trees were disintegrated and animals were left with nothing but bare bones. "You have doomed us all!" Ryze sent another bolt at the elder to the same effect as the last one. Suddenly, a large figure with two extremely large swords appeared and destroyed the bolt of arcane magic. "This is not the way to winning this fight Ryze!" Kusho, the leader of the Kinkou Order, appeared before Ryze with swords in hand. "If we sit here blaming others for what has happened..." A large section of the roof fell down, forcing Kusho to pick up the elder and dodge out of the way of the debris. "...then we are as good as dead!" Still angry, yet knowing what the ninja said was true, Ryze sent a bolt of energy into a nearby wall. Ryze knew who stood before him based on the figure's sudden appearance. It was no doubt Kusho. "If only there was something I could do Kusho. However, there is a huge problem." The temple began to collapse and Ryze teleported them all through a portal to a safer place outside the temple. "The beast we face is both arcane and spiritual. If we attempt to use arcane magic to imprison the being, it's spiritual energy can still escape and slaughter it's opponent. The same goes if we assault it with spiritual energy. The arcane magic it has at it's disposal will easily wipe out it's attacker. In short, it is practically invincible." The elder, frightened, ran away but was held in place by Ryze. "Fool! If we are going to defeat this thing, we will need all the power we can get hold of!" The elder fell to the ground, tears streaming down his face. He knew he had doomed the world, but at the same time he didn't want to die. He walked back slowly to Kusho and Ryze, unable to speak due to the enormous guilt flooding his mind. "Then we must assault the beast with both arcane and spiritual energy Ryze. I will assault it with all I got and you do the same. Perhaps, if even we can't defeat it and end up dead, we will weaken it enough for someone else to finish the job." Frustrated at the events that had unfolded to lead up this event, Ryze, still filled with anger at the elders, shook his head to agree with the plan. The beast was nearing the center of Ionia where the most spiritual energy was. It planned to feast upon such energy to empower itself. It's spiritual energy was still not equivalent to the arcane magic held within it by the World Rune. If it did not stabilize itself quickly, it would implode on itself and die. With a flash of light, Ryze appeared on the top of mountain to the east of the beast while Kusho appeared near a river to the west of it. Wasting no time, the beast used the arcane magic within itself to appear behind Ryze. Startled yet not surprised by the beast's ability to teleport it's entire self such great distances, Ryze used his own magic to teleport himself beside Kusho. "It appears to be able to sense any arcane magic I use against it." This was a huge disadvantage to Kusho's plan. If the beast would simply always be too close to Ryze for the Rune Mage to cast any spell powerful enough to harm it, then all hope was lost. Suddenly, a huge blast of spirit flames large enough to destroy a forest was sent at the beast from the south. The elder had come with the other elders of Ionia to stop the beast. This was just the distraction they needed as the beast turned it's attention to the elders. In the blink of an eye, a blue light appeared above where the elders were and a huge explosion large enough to make a mountain disappear wiped out the elders. Not letting their lives be wasted, Kusho appeared quickly in the air above the beast. Whipping out his swords, now ablaze in purple spirit energy, he drove them into the head of the beast. The beast screamed out in pain while Ryze began to cast an incredibly powerful spell. A tentacle-like appendage sprung from it's body, knocking Kusho to the beast's back where a large mouth filled with teeth that looked all too similar to the teeth of the demons who plagued Ionia suddenly opened from the beast's back. Kusho fell into the mouth, seemingly being killed. Ryze unleashed the spell he had took so long preparing, trapping the large beast within a large, arcane cube. It banged it's head into the cube, already cracking it. Stunned by the beast's strength, Ryze did not noticed Kusho burst out from the head of the beast. "Ryze, do it now!" Snapping to his senses, Ryze then activated the next part of his spell, causing the blue cube to shine bright enough for everyone across Runeterra to see. In a bright flash, the cube, containing Kusho and the beast, suddenly imploded and disappeared. Silence that could deafen the ear suddenly filled Ionia. "I can't believe that worked." Out of no where, Kusho appeared from a tree near Ryze. "I am disgusted by what I have done." Kusho had been forced to use the old, banished shadow techniques to create a shadow clone of himself. "Ionia is saved, great leader of the Kinkou Order. It is thanks to you." Kusho, still angry with himself, nodded. "It is thanks to us. All of us. Even the elders who had created the beast are to thank." Ryze nodded back, but closed his eyes and reminded Kusho of the down side of their plan. "Kusho, you know this is not the end of the fight. The spell I used was not something used to kill the beast. It was a banishing spell. Not only is the beast not dead, but the only plane of existence closest enough to banish the beast to in such a hurry was the very spirit realm Ionia is so closely connected to. Runeterra is safe, but the spirit world that your people interact so often with has likely been sent into chaos if not entirely destroyed." Kusho shook his head. "No, it is not destroyed. While inside the beast, I learned something. The beast was not simply heading to the center of Ionia to kill. It was heading there to balance itself. It was going to feast upon the spiritual energy surrounding the place. The beast was not stable and required the energy to become stable. In short, it is not destroying the spirit world. It is going to keep it barely alive so that it can feast upon it to keep itself stable." "Kusho, another thing. That banishing spell is not permanent. One day, it will return and, if what you say is true, it will be much more powerful than before. I'm not sure if either of us will be around to fight it again." Kusho closed his eyes to think before replying. "Then I guess we need to prepare the world for when it does return. Ryze, it is likely I will not die peacefully in my sleep of old age, so, please, make sure the world is ready for this beast's return. This beast... if it is to return, it needs a name so it is not forgotten." He thought for a minute before finally coming up with a name. "It shall be called the Evil Root or, in old Ionian... Xiegen. If it ever returns, we will have to uproot it from our world once again, hopefully permanently." Ryze nodded in agreement and, at that moment, they parted ways. Ryze continued his current quest and Kusho began to prepare the next generation for Xiegen's return all while maintaining balance. He saw potential in his students, Shen and Zed, and took them under his wing for much more intense training.

Killed by his own student, Zed, he left the world before the beast returned. For the next few years, the fallen Kinkou Order and the Order of Shadow would be at war with each other. The world was falling into an age of darkness and at the worst of times. This year's Blood Moon festival was soon to arrive and this year's festival was going to live up to it's name. On that day, the moon will turn red with the blood of the dead when Xiegen, the World Rune Demon, finally returns, now completely stable and with the sole objective to destroy all life. With Shen and Zed still fighting, it would seem that Runeterra and Ionia in particular were doomed to the fate of destruction.

Ability 1- Aura of Death Passive: While moving, Xiegen's steps will cause him to pulse waves of arcane energy out from himself, causing nearby enemies to take 4/5/6/7/8% of their max health as magic damage every second. This will also apply Grievous Wounds for 2.5 seconds to enemies hit that are below 40% of their max health. Active: Xiegen lets out an ear piercing scream, causing all nearby enemy units to take 100/175/250/325/400 magic damage and be feared for 1.1/1.2/1.3/1.4/1.5 seconds. Enemy minions and monsters are feared three times the normal duration, being 3.3/3.6/3.9/4.2/4.5 seconds. Cost: 60/90/120/150/180 mana Cool Down: 24/21/18/15/12 seconds Range: 500 Passive Range: 275

TIPS AND TRICKS
Tips for Playing Against Xiegen
- Xiegen's power branches almost entirely from his current level since he cannot purchase items. At the beginning of the game, he may seem extremely powerful and overbearing, but it is important to remember that what you see is what you will get for the rest of the game. He cannot purchase items to enhance his spells in any way, so figuring out a strategy to negate or weaken the use of one of his abilities at the beginning of the game should still be effective at the end of the game.
- Almost all of Xiegen's abilities have one major downside: they have large delays to warn his opponent of the incoming barrage. It's hard to miss Xiegen in a battle due to his large size, so keep an eye on him to be able to dodge any of his powerful abilities that he is about to unleash upon your team.
- Be careful starting a fight against Xiegen. His ability Detect Threat allows him to teleport behind any enemy who damages him, no matter where they are on the map. If you have global abilities, be extremely cautious when aiming them since you may allow Xiegen to teleport to your team and exact his revenge on you, whether you hit him on purpose or not.
- Xiegen is almost impossible to take on alone if you are hoping to kill him. While it is easily possible to be near him, such as during the laning phase, since almost all of his abilities are quite easy to dodge when you see them coming, it is incredibly hard to kill him without a partner since his passive gives him an absolutely ginormous amount of innate damage reduction. However, if you and an ally damage him within a short period of time of each other, he will lose an extremely large portion of his damage reduction since his arcane and spiritual energies cannot negate both of the different types of incoming damage. In short, only assault him with the intent to kill with an ally.
Tips for Playing As Xiegen
- As Xiegen, you are a huge beast that the enemy team must take notice of. Positioning yourself in the Top Lane, away from the majority of your team, at the beginning of the game can provide your team with an innate advantage since the enemy team's Jungler will likely be forced to deal with you instead of your Middle Lane, ADC, Support, and even Jungler at times.
- Your abilities have huge delays that are easy to dodge and your size means you cannot abuse normal vision rules to catch enemies by surprise. While you are more durable alone, to deal real damage to the enemy team, you must rely on allied crowd control usually to hold the enemy in place during your delays.
- When an enemy damages you, they are revealed by Detect Threat, no matter where they are. If an enemy misfires and accidentally hits you, abuse their mistake and use Detect Threat to teleport to their location and disrupt them and any of their allies near them.
- You cannot benefit from items or Masteries, meaning you will have to rely entirely on your base Stats and any bonus stats provided by Runes to destroy the enemy team. Plan out your Rune Page wisely to make up for any weaknesses you notice while playing Xiegen since he cannot benefit any passive or active granted by items in the game.
