Skye is an adorable, cute little bird in a humanoid-like form. Though she may look harmless and innocent, inside she is a merciless killer, creating storms to rain down hell from above and destroy all that she does not like!


Skye is an initiating mage.

With the power of flight, she can fly over terrain and over enemies and then rain down electric magic to absolutely destroy the enemy team! She also has a new crowd control known as sing, which is similar to charms, but enemies are not slowed down and will remain moving at their full speed for maximum combo potential for when the lightning strikes!


Attack Range: 575 units Movement: 335 units per second Attack Speed: 0.664 +4% per level Attack Damage: Average


Wings of Flight (Passive):

Flying Over Terrain Cooldown: 24 seconds [lowers with CDR]

Skye is always flying, which grants her the ability to fly over all units and periodically fly over terrain. While out of combat, Skye flies faster, granting her 30%(+15% per 100AP) total movement speed, 10% of this value while in combat.

Storm Strike (Q):

Cooldown: 40 seconds; Cost: 70 mana; Radius: 525 units

Passive: Skye brings down lightning below her every 5 seconds [lowers with CDR], dealing up to 70/100/130/160/190(+200%AP) magic damage in an area based on how close the target is. Every large enemy struck by this lightning reduces Storm Strike's cooldown by 3/4/5/6/7 seconds.

Active: Skye forms thick clouds around her, shielding herself for 50/70/90/110/130(+110%AP) for 4 seconds. After 4 seconds, Skye heals herself based on the remaining shield value.

Sing (W):

Cooldown: 24 seconds; Cost: 70/75/80/85/90 mana; Range: 700 units

Skye sings a beautiful tune over 1 second, causing enemies to harmlessly move at full speed towards her and grants them 0/15/30/45/60% bonus movement speed during this time.

Nearby allies gain 15/20/25/30/35%(+8% per 100AP) bonus movement speed for 4 seconds when hearing this tune.

Lightning Bolt (E):

Cooldown: 4 seconds; Cost: 35/45/55/65/75 mana; Range: 600/625/650/675/700 units

Skye blasts a lightning bolt at the target enemy, dealing 40/50/60/70/80(+15%AP) magic damage and chaining to nearby enemies within 325/350/375/400/425 range around it, dealing the same damage. Deals 200% damage against minions.

Every enemy struck reduces the cooldown of Wings of Flight, Storm Strike and its lightning, Sing, Lightning Bolt, and Electric Discharge by 0.5 second. Lightning Bolt's cooldown reduces by 1.5 seconds per large monster struck and restores 15/25/35/45/55 mana.

Electric Discharge (R):

Cooldown: 120 seconds; Cost: 100 mana; Range: 700 units

Skye unleashes an electric pulse around her, stunning enemies between 0.25 to 1.75/2.25/2.75 seconds based on how close they were to Skye.

Afterwards, electric energy persists for 6 seconds, dealing 60/90/120(+40%AP) magic damage per second.

Damage changed to up to 70/100/130/160/190 +200%AP from 80/130/180/230/280 +165%AP (Max damage is get struck by the lightning bolt which is directly under Skye, only a very tiny bit of wiggle room beyond that, with dramatic damage drop off down to roughly 10% minimum damage) Strike rate decreased to 5 from 4 seconds Every large unit struck lowers the cooldown by 3/4/5/6/7 seconds from 2/2.5/3/3.5/4 seconds

Base shield value lowered by 10 at each rank and ratio lowered by 10% AP

Sing: Cost adjusted to 70/75/80/85/90 from 60/70/80/90/100 mana Enemy bonus movement speed while mesmerized lowered to 0/15/30/45/60% from 0/20/40/60/80%


Made an attack range discrepancy between lightning strikes again for tower sieging with slightly more attack range and less lightning radius.

Another change is reduce in combat movement speed for it feels like there is more counter play against Skye by whacking her once to slow her down with placing her into combat.

Finally is reduce base damages for more ratio damage to ensure squishy mage build and not a tank build. It is not a risky kit with high reward if you can remove the risk by going tank and keeping the reward. This means, no risk equally means no reward, and I want the lightning to feel super impactful when you land it directly on your target, or at the very least pretty close to it. Also she needs to be building a lot of mana to upkeep her spam, easier to fulfill this build while squishy with ability power and mana anyways.

All said and done, she will more than likely be a natural hyper mage with her spam and high ability power ratios.

UPDATE NOTES (1):

Other: Attack range increased to 550 from 500 Attack Speed lowered to 0.664 +4% from 0.675 +6%

Storm Strike: Damage changed from static 60/95/130/165/200 +70%AP to dynamic up to 80/130/180/230/280 +140%AP based on closeness to Skye (max directly under her)

Radius increased to 550 from 425 units Cooldown reducing effect for the active portion clarified as large enemy from large unit, no actual change took place

Active cooldown increased to 40 from 30 seconds (increased radius makes it easier for cooldown reducing and more per strike as well)

Lightning Bolt: Damage ratio lowered to 30% from 45% (makes her more reliant on her Q for damage)

First off, very interesting concept, the way she would move around the map would be super dynamic and honestly just fun. However the scalings and base damage are very high for how consistent her damage output would be. She would likely shred any champion without consistent CC, I would consider lowering her q scaling (both the shield and damage) by a lot. Also wondering if you intended her to be a jungler, she would be very effective at clearing camps. I make champ concepts too if you wanna check them out. (Overall, these changes are aimed at making Skye more reliant on her Q for her damage output. Creating an even more high-risk and high-reward squishy ranged mage gameplay.)
