This is an updated version of a concept that I came up with less than a month ago. Here is a link to the original post: https://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/skin-champion-concepts/Qt5Rzxq0-champion-concept-rhodes-the-soul-broker The lore is still the same, but I have made a few changes that makes him less OP while still sticking to the base concept. Rhodes is still a support tank that takes more than he gives and is insanely powerful in the late game. The main changes I made is a removal of the marking systems as well as a rework for the contracts. I have turned the contract into items that ally champions can buy from the shop and then upgrade whenever a rank of Rhodes' ultimate has been unlocked. Speaking of his ultimate, Rhodes now has a new ultimate, and the E has a different active effect and a reworked passive that works with the reworked contract system. There is quite a bit of info on the contracts so I decided to separate the full details on the contracts from the description of the abilities. And without further adieu, please enjoy the re imagined Rhodes, The Soul-Broker.

Passive: Soul Bargain Rhodes starts the game with an unique item called Dealer's Contract. Ally champions will be able to purchase a Basic Contract from the shop. Whenever an ally champion exits combat, if he/she has any kind of Contract in his/her inventory, than he/she will lose 1/1.5/2/2.5% (based on the rank of the champion's Contract) of his/her current health for each enemy champion that he/she killed since entering combat (can't be prevented or reduced in any way). Then, Rhodes will gain bonus maximum health equal to the amount of health that the ally champion just lost. Rhodes doesn't have to be near the champion in order for this to take place.

Q: Spectral Grasp Cost: 80 mana CD: 16/15/14/13/12 seconds Range: 800 Targeting Matrix: Skill Shot Rhodes extends his soul in a targeted direction. The first enemy hit will take 80/125/170/215/250 (+40% AP) magic damage, pulled towards Rhodes by 300 units, and become slowed by 40% for 3 seconds.

W: Hell Hounds Cost: 45 mana CD: 1/2/3/4/5 charges, 12 second recharge. Range: 600 Targeting Matrix: Target Location Rhodes summons one of his Hell Hounds at target location. The Hell Hound will attack enemies for 3 seconds before it disappears. Hell Hounds will prioritize enemy champions and will always attack a single target together if they can. Each Hell Hound deals 10% more damage for each other Hell Hound attacking the same target. Hell Hounds can't be targeted. Rhodes, as well as any nearby ally champion, will be healed by 30% of the damage that the Hell Hound deals. Health: NA Basic Attack Damage: 40/55/70/85/100 (+60% AP) magic damage Attack Speed: 0.666

E: Protect Profits Cost: 70/80/90/100/110 mana CD: 16 seconds Range: 1500 Targeting Matrix: NA Passive: 20/40/60/80% of all damage dealt to a nearby ally champion (based on the rank of that champion's Contract) is redirected to Rhodes. Active: Rhodes and all nearby ally champions gain a shield equal to 5/10/15/20/25% of Rhodes' maximum health. This ability's passive won't be in effect while this ability is on cool down.

R: Soul Loan Cost: 100 CD: 180/150/120 seconds Range: 600 Targeting Matrix: Target Ally Champion (only champions that have a Contract in their inventory can be targeted) Passive: Ally champions can now upgrade their Basic Contract into a Specialized Contract/Greater Contract/Superior Contract at the shop. Active: Rhodes holds onto a target ally champion's soul for 5 seconds. That ally champion is immune to death and crowd control so long as Rhodes has that champion's soul. The soul will instantly return its owner at the end of the duration, restoring 20/40/60% (+2% AP) of any health that the champion lost while Rhodes was holding onto his/her soul and stunning all enemies within 300 units of him/her for 0.5/1/1.5 seconds.

Contract Details Note: Each Champion can only hold one Contract at a time, and they can't be sold once bought. However, you can exchange a Contract for one of the same rank if you wish.

Dealer's Contract +5 Ability Power per Deal +5 Armor per Deal +5 Magic Resist per Deal Unique Passive: Whenever an ally champion buys or upgrades a Contract, this item gains 1 Deal stacks. Note: Upgrading a Contract from Basic to Superior counts at a single time counts as upgrading it 3 times, and therefor Dealer's Contract will gain 3 Deal stacks instead of 1.

Basic Contract Cost: FREE!!! +100 Health

Note: There are three different kinds of Specialized, Greater, and Superior Contracts. Specialized only means which route the ally champion buying the contract decides to take, and Greater and Superior means that the ally champion is furthering down that route. The three routes are Longevity (Tank focus), Skill (AD focus), and Power (AP focus).

Please let me know what you think in the comments below. I am especially interested in what you think of the Contracts. Also, please let me know if the ultimate's active is over the top, and if so what do you think it should do instead. I really love this concept, it has been with me for a long time. So I very much appreciate any feedback. Again, if you think he would be better as a comic book villain, than please tell me so in the comments.
