Mua, The Island Father

Im not sure if I’ll enter into the CCOS with it, but maybe with enough feedback I can polish this rock into a gem ^^
I’ve managed to expand my theme of “folklore” champions again this time. Mua is a personification of the earth, creator of the land and shaper of islands. I know very well that this treads onto Ornn’s theme a little bit, but I believe that I’ve made him sufficiently different (and not just by placing his origin on the other side of Valoran).

##Champion intention:## I had envisioned Mua as a lava/magma elemental and a creature of folklore. He is supposed to be a god of sorts, similar to Polynesian tales of Pele and Maui. Mua actually means “former” in Hawaiian. In Runeterra, Mua originates from the Blue Flame Islands, near Bilgewater and home to the people that also worship Nagakabouros. He is the counterpart to another champion concept I made some time ago; Khai, The Abyssal Torrent. As a champion, Mua is a tanky midlaner or toplaner that, through his passive, can trade defensive strength for offensive power during a battle. With very little bursting potential but great control over its surroundings, I’d imagine him as a champion that could shine when he has a great team backing him up.

This is pretty much how I envisioned Mua (It is NOT MY OWN ART!!! It is from Path-finder). He’d move a bit stiffly when solid and would gradually become more flexible when melting. His movements would be sluggish when completely fluid.

##Passive, Igneous rock:## Mua’s body is made out of rock and a red hot core. This core will burn hotter and hotter when in combat, slowly melting the hard crust on the outside. Mua therefor has no mana bar, but a bar measuring his “Heat” in stead. This bar will go from 0% to 100% and will fill up for 1% every second spent in combat with enemy minions, increasing to 2%(lvl1) / 3%(lvl6) / 4%(lvl11) / 5%(lvl16) every second when in combat with enemy champions or epic monsters. The percentage in this bar will influence the solidity of his rocky exterior, which blocks a certain percentage of damage when solid, but will grant more movement speed and magic damage when melting. Additionally, when Mua has 40% Heat or more, he will start radiating the intense heat in a 350 (+100 when at 75% Heat) unit radius, effecting some of his abilities and enhancing his auto attacks. This area will be referred to as his “Heat radius”.
Heat percentage effects: 0% - 20%: Solid, -20% Incoming damage. 20% - 40%: Molten, -15% Incoming damage. 40% - 60%: Molten, -10% Incoming damage. 60% - 80%: Molten, -5% Incoming damage, +10% Mov. Speed and +15% Magic Damage, +100 unit Heat Radius range (at 75%). 80% - 100%: Fluid, +20% Mov. Speed and +25% Magic Damage Increase.
##Q, Bombardment:## Cooldown: 16 seconds Mua throws a piece of himself in a target direction, with different effects depending on his Heat. When Solid: this ability will throw a solid rock in a target direction that will push enemies back and deal 60 / 80 / 120 / 140 / 160 (+ 5% maximum Health) Magic Damage. When Molten: this ability will throw a blob of molten rock at a target location that will stick to enemies within a 100 unit radius for 3 seconds, Slow them for 30% / 35% / 40% / 45% / 50% and deals 6 / 12 / 18 / 24 / 30 (+ 15% AP) Magic Damage every second to that enemy and any enemies within a 200 unit radius. When affected enemies leave Mua’s Heat Radius, the magma will slowly coagulate over the course of 1.5 seconds, stunning the enemy for 1 second after triggering. When Fluid: this ability will throw a blob of fluid magma at a target location that will damage enemies in a 100 unit radius for 80 / 110 / 140 / 170 / 200 (+ 55% AP) in Magic Damage. Additionally, a Pool will form underneath the hit enemy that will deal 8 / 16 / 24 / 32 / 40 (+ 11% AP) Magic Damage per 0.5 seconds to any enemy that stands in it and Slows them by 20%. Mua himself will gain 20% Movement Speed when moving over the Pool. If the Pool is not in Mua’s Heat radius, it will coagulate over a course of 1.5 seconds and Root all enemies inside the Pool for 1 second.
##W, Eruption:## Cooldown: 20 seconds Active: Mua spews a blast of lava from his mouth for 1.5 seconds in the direction of the cursor, dealing 40 / 60 / 80 / 100 / 120 (+ 30% AP) magic damage per 0.5 seconds of the spew and leave a Pool of lava on the ground where it lands, the size of 150 units2 (When moving the cursor, the skillshot will follow its direction, “painting” a pool of lava on the ground). This Pool will remain for as long as it is in Mua’s Heat Radius, dealing an additional 8 / 16 / 24 / 32 / 40 (+ 11% AP) per 0.5 seconds to any enemy that stands in it and Slows them by 20%. Mua himself will gain 20% Movement Speed when moving over the Pool. If the Pool is not in Mua’s Heat Radius, it will coagulate over a course of 1.5 seconds and Root all enemies inside the pool for 1 second.
##E, Furnace:## Cooldown: 5 seconds after toggling on/off. Can only be toggled on with at least 50% Heat. Toggle on: Mua allows Heat to escape his core, increasing his Heat Radius by 50 / 75 / 100 / 125 / 150 units and causing any enemy within the radius to be dealt 30 / 45 / 60 / 75 / 90 (+ 20% AP) magic damage every second. With this ability on, Mua’s Heat will not increase when in combat with enemy minions and will only increase half as fast when in combat with enemy champions.
##R, Terra-form:## Cooldown: 120 / 110 / 100 seconds Active when Solid/molten (0% - 40% heat): Mua breaks open his stone crust, instantly escalating to his Fluid state and gaining a cloud of 8 / 12 / 16 flying rocks in a 400 unit radius around him for 5 seconds. During this time, he will change to his “Fluid” State. Every time an enemy champion is hit by a rock, the rock will break and will stun that enemy for 1 second, dealing 3% / 4% / 5% (+ 1% per 100 AP) of Mua’s max health in physical damage. After the ability has ended, the leftover rocks return to his body and merge with his core, healing him for 1.5% / 2.5% / 3.5% of his max health per rock, reforming his crust depending on how much health he has (percentage of Health=percentage of Heat). Active when Fluid (60% -100% heat): Mua summons a crust of earth from the ground on which he stands that will form a protective shield around him, equal to 25% / 30% / 35% of his max health and will revert him to his solid state for up to 3/3.5/4 seconds, during which his Heat will rapidly decrease with 5%/7.5%/10% every second the shield is active. Any shield still left after 5 seconds will be gained as health.
