I would throw my wallet at the screen if you gave us this skin, Riot. I mean, perhaps the skin concept is too easy (as in, it's an obvious choice for someone like Leona) but it fits her so well. Stuns people by shield bashing? Takes hits to protect the innocent (teammates)? Her ultimate is basically a big stun on the crowd ... like, this would be amazing Riot. Plus, we haven't gotten any additional Riot themes for awhile so starting with her would be awesome.

I'm a patient man, i'm happy to wait and besides- you guys have been providing us great skins as of lately. Keep it up! [slayer-pantheon-thumbs]

Sadly, i simply don't believe they make Riot skins anymore. They're supposted to be "rare and old" or something like that.

At least that's the vibe i'm getting from them.

I though riot skins are gift to the community. They are usually given on events or conventions. Probably they just haven't gone to any convention besides PAX. Also the fact that people were sellign them online had something to do.

By that logic, PAX skins shouldn't be that rare. Selling stuff isn't fine with them but it doesn't increase the quantity of the skins themselves.

Why not? Only around 60K people assist each year to PAX, and riot themselves have limited supply of skins (is not like they print 60k codes). Isn't League Playerbase like 10M, that is without considering all the account that have gone inactive

When things become rare they attain sentimental value to it's owners. It would be a slap in the face, is why, meaning League's "rare" skins in general are at a risk of being just hype material.

Considering old Riven Championship skin code (before the 2016 version) was selling for around $500 on e-bay. I would say that all sentimental value have a price.

They discontinued the project because people were hoarding this codes for profit which beat the original purpose of the skins. Giving away some free IP or RP was probably a better incentive since the value is fixed. I haven't gone to a convention lately so I don't know what they are giving away now.

"Riot" hasn't made these skins since they were bought by "Tencent" because "Riot" is no longer allowed to have an "identity" beyond "LoL" or "Tencent"

Believe me when I say, that I love some of her skins (BBQ Leona, Iron Solarie Leona, Pool Party Leona, ect.) and while they're good skins ... I feel like the Riot Leona skin would top them all because it just clicks so perfectly with her kit & design. I got to Plat two seasons in a row using Leona with over 600k mastery, so this would be so amazing for us both!!

Trust me friend, anyone's rank doesn't disqualify them from having significance or a say about what happens to our beloved game. If you love Leona for what she stands for and have passion for League of Legends, your say is just as valid as mine or Faker's in my opinion. Hell, rank is only meant for those who want to test themselves, let the elitists feel like they're important when it's about what makes the game fun / stand out more, eh? :)

Haha, well we are born of the blood, made men by the blood ... wait wrong game. Jokes aside, I love me some Dark Souls. But that doesn't give me the right to put people down, regardless of skill or experience. We're all human beings, and besides- League and Dark Souls are just games. While I do admire it, that design looks too similar to PROJECT Leona.
