Not really enjoying the "Die in three seconds" in every team fight

Doesn't even matter what role I play, whether i'm a tanky support or an assassin that got the drop on someone- it's always an instant death for both sides. Team fights aren't even worth risking, because the moment someone dies on your side, it's a given loss. Sure there's that "chance" of winning the 4v5, but very unlikely now a days. Every fight is mostly a coin flip, a "who's ganna die first?" with how high damage is all around.

I play League of Legends because I want to have a good 5v5 game where strategy is involved, plans are met, objectives are a key element (I mean they are, but hear me out), and team fights matter on how well your team plays ... not this deathmatch Call of Duty crap that's on Hardcore mode (if anyone's played it, you basically die very fast to any amount of gunfire). I don't feel good when I nuke an enemy, because there's no fun in murdering someone in 2 seconds and being done with it. There's no fun for dying in 2 seconds because there's never really any counter play when you are never given time to properly react.

Overall, please .... I want good team fights again. I want the back and forth fighting that rewarded teams for good play, not this instant deathmatch crap.

3 seconds? Your fights last that much? I can barely make it to 2.

Inb4 pika fox shows up to tell everyone that dying in > three seconds is making the game better. -_-

Also how did you live for three seconds?

Teach me your ways of incredible survival

Yeah there's a lot more burst nowadays. The early game especially seems very fast paced.

Riot's fetish for upfront proc damage has got to go.

Tired of being bursted down so fast? Play anti-assassins. Lulu, Janna, Tahm Kench! It's always nice when you see a cocky Zed go into a 1v5 and you fuzzy him with Lulu.

If you get caught out and focused down by the enemy team with all your cooldowns and summoners up, then you have made several big mistakes and deserve to get ‘blown up,’ whatever role you play. The enemy team then deserves to win any 5v4 that might happen, and to take an objective or more if they’re fast.

They played a cleaner game, caught your throw, and were objective focused. Even if that’s Baron, you should have played safer, since late game is supposed to be tense and volatile unless one side has a huge lead.

Otherwise, people would just run around, get into fights, and then disengage over and over again. Winning would be achieved by forcing the other side to back off or recall, then warding their approach routes.

why do people address this as a S8 problem? I can find boards about people complaining how Syndra R oneshots in S6. I can find people complaining about LB oneshots from S4. Kassadin S3 and so on so forth.

No plan survives first contact with the enemy lol!

I split push a lot and take objectives so my games are usually more strategy focused than the usual blood feast that I hear are most games in low elo (also including some of my games too). Once you learn some nice macro play from high elo players, these blood feasts become slightly easier to manage. They are still crazy and unorganized fights, but they do become easier to win in a 4v5 or other situations where the enemy has numbers advantage, if you know how to take advantage of those situations.

What makes you think you can survive for 3 seconds? usually we die within .2 seconds

Where have you been these last 9 months? :P

(3 seconds to die are like a miracle, btw)

RankOneWakanda9/13/2018, 2:14:19 AM2 votes

3 seconds if your a tank

squishy? 1-2 seconds at most

ask them to remove ruens and masteries and that will make us live for maybe 1 second more

If I play well (even decently) I almost never die that quickly in teamfights and I play adc lol. I can only imagine that happening with a fed enemy champ and at that point..eh its expected. Consequence of feeding lol. Positioning could also play a factor.

League of First to move wins.

Bobloser35559/12/2018, 5:03:39 PM1 votes

play tank trynda like I do then you got about 7-10 seconds if they focus you, more than most tanks

Hollowchazz9/13/2018, 3:58:40 PM1 votes

I don't get it, the game has always been about melting someone first and team fighting off of that. i know because ive been playing since season 2 back when fiora was a new champion.
