It would be nice to know why Shadow Prince Malzahar's skin splash indicate that he has gold coloured abilities. But when you buy it and use it he actually still has purple coloured abilities. It was and still is really annoying to find out that he still had void colours. I know that I should have probably searched it up on Youtube but we shouldn't need to. A background story why this happened the way it is, from a Rioter about this whole weird thing would be nice.

I'd also like to confirm if Riot isn't or is going to do something to fix this inconsistency.

Ty Keep up the good work Rito. Malzahar.

What a Rioter will tell you: "Our splash artists are allowed to take certain liberties with splash arts— some details will not be present on in-game models." Translation: "False advertising is something we not only allow— we embrace it."

There's a slim chance that Shadow Prince Malzahar will get golden particles when Malz gets a VU, but Riot has already mentioned that he's not really a priority for the VU team. I wouldn't count on it, anyway. Riot has a habit of only sticking to skin price tiers when it suits them (see: the card skins and their inconsistent features), and giving Shadow Prince Malzahar new particles would seem like a reason for increasing its price (which Riot seems to have learned not to do after they officially introduced the 1350RP tier and shuffled around a lot of skin prices).
