BACKGROUND Runeterra, a fascinating world of unique flora and fauna. Interesting. The most common inhabitants are of flesh and... do not have an exoskeleton. Strange. They appear to be divided. Combat ensues between them. Combat like unorganized beasts. Perfect. The Void has already begun to make it's impact. The Herald and Nashor have already been put in place. Spectacular. Now all that is left is the full invasion to begin. One of them has guided us to a nest they call Icathia. Wonderful. Malzahar was of great use. His use is fading. The Void will consume all in it's path. Unavoidable. There is much to do. Many. The time of man is soon to end. Soon. All that is left is for the gate to be constructed. Yes. Constructed. The five pillars must be formed. My turn is coming. All will bow before the Void. All. Indeed. All will fall. Now, let us see what this world has in store for me. Curious.

KIT Zag'Rot, the Void Tactician Mage Secondary: Tank Health- 675 (+125 per level) Health Regen.- 15 (+1.5 per level) Mana- 400 (+50 per level) Mana Regen.- 9.5 (+0.95 per level) Armor- 30 (+4 per level) Magic Resist- 32.1 (+1.25 per level) Movement Speed- 325 Attack Damage- 25 (+1 per level) Attack Speed- 0.6 (+0.5% per level) Attack Range- 225 (Melee)

Passive- Void Pillars Innate: Upon starting a match, five pillars will spawn in the jungle. One is at the blue side tribrush. The next is at the red side tribrush. The third is at the enemies red side bush next to the Red Buff camp. The fourth is at the enemies blue side bush next to the Blue Buff camp. The final fifth pillar is in the center of the map in Middle Lane. Each pillar requires Void Matter to create, which Zag'Rot can create by picking up Rune Energy from fallen enemy units and then bringing it to each pillar to convert to Void Matter over 4.5 seconds, channeling during this time. Small enemy minions drop 1 Rune Energy. Large enemy minions drop 3 Rune Energy. Small neutral monsters in your own jungle drop 2 Rune Energy. Large neutral monsters in your own jungle drop 4 Rune Energy. Small neutral monsters in the enemy jungle drop 3 Rune Energy. Large neutral monsters in the enemy jungle drop 5 Rune Energy. Enemy champions drop 4 Rune Energy plus an additional 1 Rune Energy for each kill they have gained in their current life. Enemy structures drop 6 Rune Energy, reduced to 2 Rune Energy for Inhibitors. Once all Void Pillars have been fueled with 40 Void Energy, they will begin to react and create a giant portal in the center of the map around the fifth portal. From this portal, every 3/2.5/2 seconds, a Voidling will spawn that will push down the Middle Lane. These Voidlings have 50% of the current stats of a Melee Minion, but have 100/150/200% increased movement speed. The portal can be closed if the enemy team can destroy one of the portals. Pillars have health equal to 5000/7500/10000% (+100% per 100 AP) of the Void Energy needed to fuel them. Pillars can only be attacked while a portal is currently created. If a pillar is destroyed, all of the Void Energy from each pillar will be depleted and the amount of Void Energy needed to activate them again is increased by 15. Passive Levels: 1/9/18

Ability 1- Void Crusher Passive: Every 16/14.5/13/11.5/10 seconds, Zag'Rot creates a Void Crusher that will follow and defend him by attacking nearby units that damage Zag'Rot or attacking the enemy unit that Zag'Rot is attacking. Two Void Crushers cannot attack the same target. Zag'Rot can only have 1/2/3/4/5 Void Crushers at one time. Void Crushers take 30/35/40/45/50% reduced damage from minions and monsters, and 10/12.5/15/17.5/20% reduced damage from epic monsters. If a Void Crusher has not taken any damage within the last 10 seconds, it begins to recover 20% of it's max health per second. Active: Zag'Rot commands the Void Crusher with the most current health to travel to the target enemy unit and begin attacking it. This Void Crusher deals 10/15/20/25/30% increased damage to the selected enemy unit and gains 20/25/30/35/40% increased movement speed. Once the Void Crusher kills the enemy unit, they will bring it's Rune Energy back to Zag'Rot. A Void Crusher cannot return until it kills it's target or it itself dies. Cost: 30/35/40/45/50 mana Cool Down: 10/8/6/4/2 seconds Range: 4000/6000/8000/10000/12000

Ability 2- Void Infection Active: Zag'Rot telepathically plants a Void infection into the target enemy units brain. After a 5 second delay, they will take 60/95/130/165/200 (+45% AP) true damage and be silenced for 1.5/1.75/2/2.25/2.5 seconds. This damage is increased by 60/70/80/90/100% (+4% per 100 AP) against minions and monsters. If a unit is killed by this, it's Rune Energy is automatically transferred to Zag'Rot and the remaining cool down of this ability is halved. Cost: 60/65/70/75/80 mana Cool Down: 17/16/15/14/13 seconds Range: 750

Ability 3- Void Hive Active: After channeling for 7.5 seconds, the current section of the jungle that Zag'Rot is currently in is transformed into a Void Hive over 10 seconds. While inside a Void Hive, Zag'Rot and his Void Crushers will gain 20/30/40/50/60 flat movement speed and gain 10/15/20/25/30 (+10% AP) flat health regeneration per 5 seconds. Void Pillars in a Void Hive gain 100/125/150/175/200 armor and magic resist. A max of 2 Void Hives can be created at one time. All of the entrances to the section of the jungle that becomes of Void Hive will become impassable terrain to the enemy team after the 10 second creation time. A Void Hive can be destroyed by going to the Void Pillar in the neighboring sections of the jungle and attacking it 3/3/4/4/5 times with basic attacks. Once the pillar has been attacked the set amount of times, the Void Hives in the neighboring sections to the pillar will be destroyed and the pillar cannot be attacked until another Void Hive is created in a neighboring section. Cost: 150/175/200/225/250 mana Cool Down: 160/145/130/115/100 seconds Range: Must be in a jungle section

Ultimate- Dissection Active: Zag'Rot suppresses the target enemy minion or non-epic monster and begins to rip its body apart, dealing 200/325/450 (+75% AP) true damage each second to it until it is killed. Zag'Rot is channeling during this time. Once the unit is killed, it will provide Zag'Rot with information of it's body structure, causing the next Void Crusher that Zag'Rot creates to instead have 50/62.5/75% (+3% per 100 AP) of the killed unit's stats, excluding movement speed which is equal to Zag'Rot's, and be an equivalent size to it. Cost: 100 mana Cool Down: 120/105/90 seconds Range: 250

Void Crusher Stats HEALTH: 325/400/475/550/625 (+5% max health) ARMOR: 10/15/20/25/30 MAGIC RESIST: 30/35/40/45/50 MOVEMENT SPEED: (Equal to Zag'Rot's) ATTACK DAMAGE: 30/37/44/51/58 (+20% AD) (+25% AP) ATTACK SPEED: 1.0/1.1/1.2/1.3/1.4 ATTACK RANGE: 125 (Melee)

NOTES

  • Enemy champions are told in-game how to deal with Void Hives and the Void Pillars (once activated) via the in-game active quest pop up, similar to a Custom Game with Bots "Choose a lane" quest.
  • Void Crushers are target-able as minions.
  • Void Hive walls can be teleported through and dashed over, but cannot be destroyed from the Void Pillar inside the Void Hive. This was done to avoid direct counters to Zag'Rot via mobility.

DESIGN Zag'Rot was created as a non-combat champion overall who instead focuses on beginning the invasion of the Void by creating the Void Pillars. He has his own minions who he can send out to gather supplies for him as well. He can also create large safe havens for his team through Void Hives that can force the enemy team into unfriendly territory to regain their own. Zag'Rot himself is VERY tanky, but lacks direct combat potential, forcing him to rely on his minions and allies to fight in his place. He makes up for this with his insane utility and pushing power however.

If you have any thoughts or ideas on how to improve Zag'Rot, please leave them below!

I came here because I recognized FREAKING ZURVAN!!

I know they aren't the same, but the lore seems a little too similar to Vel'Koz. Vel'Koz is undeniably the smartest of the current void creatures today. I don't think he needs anyone to kick him off of his high-chair.
