Well, aside from the off-meta variety, there aren't really any Demacian assassins. When we finaly get one, how do you expect them to be? AP or AD? Melee or Ranged? Auto attack-based or ability-based? What kinda weapon? What kinda backstory? I'm curious as to your ideas.

That makes sense. TBH I feel that if there was an Assassin-class character, they'd operate in Demacia's shadow, handling all the unsightly dealings.

That's a hella rad idea and falls in line with the opinions of Demacia that certain champions have.

Pick rate doesn't determine what's meta and what isn't; Riot does. And according to Riot, using a dedicated class character a different way than currently intended is considered off-meta. Her insane damage doesn't change the fact that Vayne is an ADC lol Quinn is a different story because of what her kit allows. She was intended to be an ADC but you can also play her as an assassin.
