Something I noticed about Kayle's lore that I hope they actually apply to the update:

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, RIOT

DON'T make Kayle a generic waifu-bait champion with a generic waifu-bait design. You do not have to make a gorgeous champion just to have people interested in her. "She always wears a helmet" does not matter since she has skins where she's unmasked. You can give her a mature look. You can show her battle-worn existence through her expressions. You can give her muscle tone, battle-scars and a strong presence that fits someone who's embroiled in a never-ending war. You can give her heavy quotes that makes us as players think about the conflict within this game that we take for granted as just champ banter. You can make her a semi-unique existence within this game.

If you need a point of reference for what I'm talking about, I GOT YOU, RIOT.

Just please, take a chance. It's worth it.

Would be way better if they ditched to boob plate chest armor for something more believable.

I was sad when Kai'sa got released and she somehow managed to keep a perfect pretty little face with zero damage to any parts of her. Hell yeah, give me that gritty battle angel, full on scars and the thousand yard stare all the way.

More than likely her helmet will be a toggle function on her base skin.

You can give her muscle tone, battle-scars and a strong presence that fits someone who's embroiled in a never-ending war.

This depends on if it is a 'constant war', its entirely possible to keep 'conflicting ideals' thematic without making it 'constant/ drawn out war', just my opinion.

She is likely an Ascended though. And we know Ascended can regenerate massively. Her having scars would mean she saw some scary shit.

Even beside that, I am more in the side Kayle protecting her beauty and letting scared face architype to a new champion. An angel being beautiful beyond human measure is not a rare description. And she currently uses that. Why to make unneccesary, dramatic changes that could backlash really bad?

Kayle, in my opinion, shouldn't lose her pure, unharmed beauty.

Watch her base skin really play up how bad ass her armor is and then her ult she goes golden kayle suit 0 on them or something

You know she can still be beautiful but toned and war worn right?

Just because she doesnt have any outstanding scars wont make her a soft gentle lady all of a sudden.

Tough looking eyes with a determined or somewhat weary expression, would still look nice if the person doing it has a "good" appearance, beauty is like that.

But it would still be very different from a femme fatale play like what MF has got rolling in her little stories, or the almost instinctual seduction Ahri starts pulling when "hungry".

No scars, healthy if not soft pure skin for her image as a "holy" one would still work, the greatest deal would instead lay with how her eyes look and her expression.

No compromise on the armor for the base skin though, or riot ensures.
