New jungle item idea

Only certain tank champions work in the jungle, even then they typically arent to impact till late game. How about a new jungle item smite for tanks. So the item would give you 35 armor, and a thornmail passive to all jungle monsters, then if you smite a enemy champion you get 20 armor and 25 mr for 3 seconds. Thoughts? I used to play a lot of Naut jungle season 5 but he is really bad in the jungle for a while now

In seriousness though? I believe this is basically what Cinderhulk is supposed to accomplish -- consistent damage over time against nearby enemies. It's actually probably more reliable than this would be, since some jungle monsters attack pretty slowly.

May I ask what your issue, if any, with Cinderhulk is? Where does it fail to match up to what you'd expect from a jungle tank item?
