Varus Rework Concept
Just an idea after seeing the music video.
Passive : Eternal Struggle Varus's abilities and kills grant corruption, giving him offensive bonuses at the cost of defense. At full corruption Varus becomes invulnerable for 1 seconds as he transforms into a darkin with high amounts of offensive power. Max : 100 Corruption
Basic Attacks consume one point of corruption to deal magic damage equal to 2% (+1% per 200 AP) of the enemy unit's missing health. Kills grant 10 corruption (Doubled for champion kills or assists) Each point of corruption grants 1% total attack speed but causes Varus to take 1% more damage. Defense reduction capped at 86% (-2% per level). Chain of Corruption grants darkin form.
Darkin Form : Attack speed cap temporarily removed and passive attack speed doubled for 5 seconds, and transforms the on hit damage to maximum health. Consumes 10 corruption per second.
Q : Piercing Arrow Varus charges up a powerful shot that deals physical damage based on how long it was charged. Deals 15% reduced damage (Minimum 10%) for each unit it passes through. Minimum Damage : 10-150 (100% AD) Maximum Damage : 15-225 (150% AD) Range : 925-1625 (Max Range increased by 1% per 2% bonus Atk Spd) Grants 5 Corruption on use and another 5 upon firing
W : Blighted Passive : Basic Attacks consumes an additional point of corruption to apply blight on to enemies for 6 seconds. Spells detonate the blight, each stack of blight deals triple the on hit damage of his passive. Max : 3 Stacks
Active : The Darkin consumes part of Varus, basic attacks add corruption instead of removing it and enemies explode upon blight detonation, applying a stack of blight to all enemies within a radius. Duration : Until Piercing Arrow is casted or Hail of Vengeance is casted Radius : 100 per stack of blight on the enemy
E : Hail of Vengeance Varus calls upon the power of the stronger side to enact vengeance upon their foes. Both parts slow for 25%-45% and apply grievous wounds for 2 seconds.
Below 50% Corruption : Rains a hail of arrows on an area, dealing 75-225 (+50% AD) Physical Damage. Consumes 10 corruption.
Above 50% Corruption : Fires a single arrow that corrupts the ground and rapidly spreads to the nearest unit with blight. Each second of standing in the area causes magic damage equal to his passive and adds blight. Area lasts 4 seconds. Corruption Speed : 300 (+200 per stack of blight on the enemy it is spreading to) Grants 5 corruption each second an enemy is on the corrupted area.
R : Chains of Corruption Fires tendrils of corruption that roots the first enemy champion struck for 2 seconds and spreads on to nearby enemy champions with blight after 2 seconds upon striking the first unit. Affected units also gain 2 stacks of blight per second until max stacks. Each stack of blight will increase the jump range of the tendrils. (Cannot jump to champions that have already been affected by Chains of Corruption) Magic Damage Dealt : 100-250 (+100% AP) Base Tether Range : 500 Unit specific Tether Range : +75 per stack of blight
