@Riot when will Malzahar's shadow prince skin actually represent the splash art?

I mean for crying out loud he has GOLD particles in his splash art but is freaking purple in game, come on that was the reason I even got it, I thought he would be gold, appealed to me that people would drown in a pool of gold.

Is this going to be fixed with his VU or TU or just gonna act like you have never seen this?

That'd be rad, but with the way they've set up their pricing model, if they went back and made the skin with gold particle effects, it'd bump it to at least a 1350 RP skin.

I still want to see it though... drowning enemies in gold pits does sound really enticing.

Kind of unrelated, but I've noticed the same this with Woad Ashe (I know it's a super old, super cheap skin). The splash art and the in game model are entirely different. The splash art is a kind of mix of brown and green, it looks good. When you get in game the model is ENTIRELY brown. Brown pants, brown shirt, brown hair, brown bow, everything is brown.

Honestly, I think people don't really realize how badly malz also needs a VU.

You're not the only one to notice and want this. Other people have asked and not gotten any feedback. Silverwinds posted aboutt it here called @Riot: Malzahar Art Questions. I wrote an discussion and mentioned it as well: Unbalanced Attention Concerning Champion Skins

That skin is back from when only legendary skins had particle changes.
