Next Versus - Skin Lines

Hey Riot, Have you considered for the next Versus event after Cats VS Dogs that it could be one skin line versus the other? We know that certain champ matchups like Darius/Garen are fairly predetermined due to player dynamics and it makes it a no brainer as to who would win, but what about skin lines that have equal measures of popularity?

I'm talking like Star Guardians VS PROJECT or Pool Party VS Blood Moon. Stuff like that. I think it's got great potential for you to introduce smaller additions to those skin lines simultaneously and could lead to some fun things in the game, like SG minions trucking down one side, and PROJECT minions trucking down the other, etc.

Imo your suggestions won't work because the VS skins should be connected to each other

Pool party and Blood moon have nothing to do with each other

There's nothing really set in stone that they must be connected. Plus, it's something unexplored, something they can put together based on their raw data, and it can give them the opportunity to give us like 1-2 PROJECTs or SG, etc, at a time, instead of needing to do full rosters.

Yeah but for teh past 3 years it has always been 1 skin line The yasuo and riven skins were connected The god kings And now Cats vs Dogs

Pool party vs Blood moon or Sg vs Project just seems really dumb to me The only 2 skin lines i could see ina Vs event are K/DA and Pentakill Maybe dark star Vs SG or odyssey and Crime city vs Officers (If we get more officer skins) or Riot skins

Except Dark Star and SG are separate skin lines, so they'd be as valid as SG VS PROJECT.

Plus, SG and PROJECT are two of League's most popular skin lines. I see absolutely no reason why there couldn't be a VS event pitting the two against one another.

K/DA and pentakill are separate skin lines but they're both bands so that could be a thing

And dark star, odyssey and SG are all space related skins kinda so they go together, same with crime city and officers, they would fit together

But SG and Project have NOTHING in common so the event wouldn't really work

K/DA and pentakill are separate skin lines but they're both bands so that could be a thing

Again, you've given no reason WHY the event wouldn't work. They'd be pitting two skin lines against each other that are massively popular with players. There doesn't necessarily has to be lore attached to it, Cats VS Dogs certainly doesn't have lore.

It wouldn't work because it would just look dumb imo 'cause the skins are nowhere near connected or anything like that so it would just look unfitting

That's still not a solid enough reason to dislike the concept. That kind of mindset would have been the end for games like Marvel vs Capcom, Smash Bros, and Kingdom Hearts.

I mean i've literally said in almost all of my comments that these are my opinions And i'm allowed to share my opinions 'cause public forum so idrk what you want

All the VS skins before have had some kind of conceptual connection 'cause the skins were specifically made for the event Imo some preexisting skins would work in a Vs event, but not the ones you've suggested

It would be Dark Star vs. Cosmic, as those are explicitly in the same universe

Oh yeah Cosmic skins exist That could be cool too All of the 3 would be cool but Cosmic would be the most fitting and SG 2nd
