Champion Goals: She is an AOE control mage with immense crowd control and range at the cost of highly delayed abilities that can only be cast at maximum range with high cooldowns. Goal is to heavily focus on crowd control and zoning power. Her skill check will be heavily centered more so than any other mage on her positioning as her position determines the spot her ability will be cast rather than being able to cast abilities anywhere within her maximum range, while also focusing on her timing with said abilities. Her most notable skill check will be landing Q’s to activate her passive and empower her abilities, thus allowing her to circumvent some of her weaknesses if played well.

Passive: Fueled Memento: Emersa fuels her Urn of Shadows by damaging targets with Shade reducing all her cooldowns by 25% excluding her Q and adding 25 points to her Memento bar. When Emersa reaches 100 Memento her next W, E or R costs no mana has no cast time and can be cast from any point within her maximum range. Emersa’s abilities do not benefit from CDR, instead CDR becomes bonus AP with 1% CDR=1 AP.

Q: First Cast: Urn of Shadows: Range: 1000 / Mana Cost: 0 Emersa sends her Urn to the target location. Can only be cast to maximum range. Emersa can reclaim her Urn by walking over it or by walking out of tether range (1000). Second Cast: Shade: Cooldown: 2.5 / Range: 450 / Mana Cost: 25 Casting it again allows her to send a blast of shadow magic from the Urn in a line to target location dealing damage to the first target hit. Shade can only be cast while Urn of Shadows is active. Shade enables her passive. Damage: 25/50/75/100/125 (+80% of AP)

W: Cascading Shadows / Cooldown: 20 [Begins after spell ends] / Mana Cost: 100 / Range: 1000 / Width: 400 Active: Emersa summons a dark blob of shadow magic from her Urn hovering over a target location. After a 2 second delay the shadows cascade, bouncing 2/3/4/5/6 times on the location damaging and knocking up targets within the area of effect. The blob bounces every 1 second. Damage: 50 (+50% of AP) / Knock Up: 0.5 seconds.

E: Rejected Umbrage / Cooldown: 20 / Mana Cost: 50 / Range: 1000 / Width: 400 Active: Emersa releases the darkness inside her Urn after a 2 second delay she blasting forth a wave of shadow magic that pushes back all targets along its path back to the maximum range of the ability. This ability does no damage but lowers all targets magic resist. MR Shred: 5%/10/%/15%/20%/25%

R: Grasping Shadows : / Cooldown: 20 / Mana Cost: 100 / Range: 1000/ Width: Active: Emersa summons forth a pair of shadowy claws from her Urn towards a target location. After a 2 second delay the jaws close pulling everything between them to the center slowing them and dealing a burst of damage. Can only be cast at maximum range however the claws can be rotated to be vertical or horizontal. Basically moving the cursor at the maximum range will spin the width indicator. Is a vector skillshot when empowered by passive. Damage: 100/200/300(+70% AP) Slow: 10%

Lore Ideas/Mixed with just general thoughts:

Emersa loved adventure, exploring the unknown, finding lost treasures in forgotten ruins. Her love for the unknown pushed her to find adventure around every corner. As an ionian she had always learned that balance was everything, unfortunately for her this also meant a balance between play and work. Too much adventure was dangerous. She didn't care. She was the one that always got her friends to take off on crazy quests and put their life's in danger. One of those quests in particular being a exploration of an ancient long forgotten temple. She’d heard from elders of her village that the temple was a dangerous place, that long ago a mysterious cult once cultivated the remains. These were just words to her, all she saw was opportunity and adventure. With her best friend Pirce she set off for adventure.

Little did she know the elders were right. Amongst the ruins of a once dark temple Emersa discovered a strange relic…an Urn that seemed to whisper to her... countless voices trapped within the Urn. Emersa seemed entranced by its aura. Stealing away the Urn from the ruble. Basically long story short she loses her best friend Pirce inside the temple he dies and then his body spontaneously combusts and his ashes are sucked into the urn thus fueling the magic of the Urn. All her pain paired with her love for Pirce empowers the Urn and its shadow magics. She becomes extremely obsessed with the magics that were once practiced at the temple, hoping to find answers to bring back her friend. I see her as completely losing her sanity inside the temple and her lines would be like random an loony the first loony character.

For appearance I see her wearing one of the occultist outfits from the temple that she finds. A tattered version of one. It would be like a very angular outfit. A hood with a pointed tip and tattered cap. The Urn would levitate next to her in game, and there would be like layered voices coming from it etc. I see like black dark brown and dark purples for her color scheme.
