Ico, the Secret in the Freljord

Ico is a ice elemental land dragon that dwells deep north of the Freljord. Slow moving, but massive in scope, so massive that she becomes mistaken as a mountain which is why she remained hidden for so long, that and the unlivable climate of being so north in the Freljord. The Freljordians revealed this secret to the world due to the threat of war breaking out, so to scare others away they let the rumours spread of the dragon living within their homeland.


Ico is a marksman, super immobile, but a complete terror and destroys everything when she gets to her target and the closer she is the more damage she deals while being quite durable to boot.


Attack Range: 725 units Attack Speed: 0.545 +2.5% per level Movement: 310 units per second


Frost Breath (Passive): Range: 725 units; Cone: 60 degrees Ico's basic attacks blast a cone of frost breath, dealing 20% - 90% [based on level] damage to struck enemies that are not the main target.

Ico's Basic Attack: ~ Deals (+15%AD)(+10%AP) magic damage to enemies past 625 range. ~ Deals (+100%AD)(+60%AP) magic damage to enemies between 400 to 625 range. ~ Deals (+200%AD)(+120%AP) magic damage to enemies between 150 to 400 range. ~ Deals (+300%AD)(+180%AP) magic damage to enemies closer than 150 range. ~ Deals true damage against minions. ~ Critical strikes do not deal bonus damage. ~ Critical strikes converts the damage to true damage.

Frozen Scales: Ico converts her Flash into Frozen Scales, granting her damage and displacement immunity for 2.5 seconds instead of its normal cast with the same cooldown.

Freezing Breath (Q): Cooldown: 11 seconds; Cost: 90 mana; Range: 1200 units / 85 degrees Ico breaths sub-zero breath in the target direction, slowing struck enemies down by 5% to 55/65/75/85/95% based on how close the target is for 2 seconds. Enemies closer than 400 range to Ico are stunned for 1.1/1.2/1.3/1.4/1.5 seconds.

Snow Field (W): Cooldown: 20/17/14/11/8 seconds; Cost: 40 mana; Range: 800 units Ico creates a snow field at her current location for 4 seconds. Enemies inside receive 30/35/40/45/50% negative tenacity and deal 15/17.5/20/22.5/25% less damage.

Tough Scales (E): Cooldown: 3 second; Cost: 3/5/7/9/11 mana per champion hit Toggle OFF: Ico's attacks reduce struck enemies' armor and magic resistance by 5/7.5/10/12.5/15% for 2 seconds, stacking up to 3 times.

Toggle ON: Ico grants herself 22/29/36/43/50% damage reduction for 1 second and then converts the armor and magic resistance reduced from Tough Scales as bonus armor and magic resistance. Whenever Ico takes champion damage she consumes mana.

Mighty Stomp (R): Cooldown: 110/90/70 seconds; Cost: 100 mana; Range: 725 units Ico raises her foot and after 0.5 second slams it down to knock all nearby enemies up to 400/525/650 units towards her, this will knock down enemies.


UPDATE NOTES:

Frost Breath - Frozen Scales: Adjusted damage slightly and changed the damage values to a set value when struck within a certain range instead of a gradual difference down to closer to 150 units to Ico. Removed "Can't Move A Mountain" granting a self ground, 75% effective movement speed buffs and displacement immunity. Added "Frozen Scales" which replaces Flash for damage and displacement immunity for 2.5 seconds with the same cooldown as Flash. This allows the ability to add power to Ico by removing the ability to instant blink.

Freezing Breath: Cost changed to 90 from 70/80/90/100/110 mana Minimum slow reduced to 5% from 10/12.5/15/17.5/20% Slow duration decreased to 2 seconds from 3 seconds Stun duration decreased to 1.1/1.2/1.3/1.4/1.5 from 1.5/1.75/2/2.25/2.5 seconds Stun range increased to 400 from 150 units

Snow Field: Reworked and no longer heals. Ability is more interesting and interacts with the rest of the kit, especially Freezing Breath to increase the slow and stun duration. Cooldown increased to 20/17/14/11/8 from 20/16/12/8/4 seconds

Tough Scales: Reworked to be more interesting of a spell. Is now a toggle instead of a duration. Cooldown reduced to 3 from 8 seconds Damage reduction reduced to 22/29/36/43/50% for 1 second from 20/30/40/50/60% for 4 seconds; upon the initial activation of toggling ON Toggle OFF effect reduces armor and magic resistance by a % amount up to 3 times for 2 seconds (duration refreshes with re-applying the effect) Toggle ON, gain bonus armor and magic resistance based on how much you reduced from the toggle OFF effect, whenever you take champion damage then Ico consumes mana while Toggle is ON

You really can't make a champion concept that doesn't have an AP-scaling on-hit heal somewhere in its kit, can you?

Also, 8 - 45% = 4.4. You have 60% damage reduction with a near 100% uptime on a basic ability. As a marksman, Ico has easy access to Essence Reaver, so...

P: Hitting minions does true damage, crits don't deal bonus damage, how does that work Also 300% AD on an auto, every auto. Sure, melee with no dash and can't crit, but true damage. True > Phys when Armor > 150 after IE. 300% AD scaling means with just two or three items you're probably going to be able to kill anything bar feast-fed Cho'Gath or Dr. Mundo in the span of moments. This is ignoring the fact that 200% AP is also ridiculous and further begs a Rageblade.

immune to displacements

This is still completely 100% unacceptable an effect and completely unchanged in badness.

Q: it's a huge slow, on a marksman. in a really wide cone. yeah, no damage, but that would let them get closer to range for instant-kill autos.

W: huge ap scaling per auto healing. i guess that's nice? when you say 800 range does that mean that the field is an 800 radius field ala trundle's frozen domain, or that the cast range is 800 and the field is smaller (if so how large is field)

E: perpetual alistar ultimate after you get 40% CDR, nearly no way she'd fail to survive long enough to get in melee

R: and just in case you can't get in melee let's make the entire enemy team get nearly in melee

literally R -> Q -> auto, playing with a Sona or DIana or Jarvan or... anybody with large AoE CCs, even slows, and you autowin teamfights?

What does Infinity Edge do for your passive?

Every champion that has an abnormal critical function has it scale with Infinity Edge in some way.
