I feel like RIOT just gave her the Project treatment of making her sound mechanical instead of actually making her sound evil or otherworldly. I don't understand this decision other than the fact they get to say "new voice effects".
Well, it does drive home that she's not human.
I agree. The current voice is muffled in a weird way. It sounds robotic, sans a metallic echo effect. They should just have made the voice darker instead. I guess it has to do with how rapidly the pitch is chaning. It sounds really awkward, and not demonic in any way I have ever heard in a movie or a game.
