Sharlott The Shopkeeper!!!

Something me and a friend thought up. We thought that since there are champions that can restore health, and there used to be champs that could restore mana, thus weakening the need to recall, that it would be cool to have a champ that kinda acts like a mobile shop.

PASSIVE: Scharlott's portable shop contains all items available in normal shop that are below 800 gold in its original cost (this means that a champ could not build into higher cost items like Black Cleaver etc). Once she has been out of combat for five seconds she can activate her passive (by clicking on it) to set up shop. Her shop has 7 stacks and a stack is depleted every time a champion purchases from her. Stacks are replenished upon visiting shop (the one at fountain). She gains gold equal to 1/3 of the price of the items purchased from her. Additionally, her portable shop takes up one inventory space.

Q: She hurls a sack of gold (skill shot) which does damage upon impact with an enemy champion. Also upon impact, the sack of gold bounces off of the target and lands a short distance in front of it. Champions can run over these sacks to collect gold (amount of gold scales with level of ability). If the sack of gold does not hit an enemy, the sack is lost in the grass (the sack disappears).

W: She posts a contract on target enemy champion. If the champion is slain before the contract expires (maybe like, 5 seconds?) his/her slayer will gain additional gold (scales with ability level). She herself cannot benefit from this ability.

E: Every time an epic monster or enemy minion or champion is slain they have a chance of dropping materials that can be scavenged. Only she can scavenge these materials (by walking over them). Once scavenged, these materials provide a random buff to allies near her depending on the last item purchased. (health items provide health regen, armor items provide armor, damage provide damage and etc. If the last item bought has multiple different stats, it picks one randomly to use as a buff).

R: Scharlott digs into her inventory to pick out an item. Once an item is chosen, all allies in her radius get that item in their inventory in addition to their other items. (Hold R, an icon appears above her head indicating which item is selected, keep holding R to keep searching and change the selected item, after 5 seconds, the highlighted item is forced to be chosen).

This seems very interesting for a champion concept... Seems like a support to me, once I read the description for her W ability. ADC's wouldn't have to recall in order to buy build components, and could instead buy from her, which would also benefit her (win/win situation!). Only one problem I can see, and that is her Q ability. Free gold for champions? Seems too broken in my opinion. Maybe have just the damage, and not the gold benefit, or have the gold benefit not be very large (Not to mention you also said just "champions", does this include enemies? She could help her enemies? I mean, you ARE throwing it at them for the damage)

The concept is fresh and innovative, i really like it. The abilities tho, not entirely convinced. But keep developing the idea, cause it's really nice.

(While writing this, I realize I'm changing the champion a bit. It's just my suggestion and you're welcome to use it if you'd like, or change it a little bit to what you would like. Again, these are just suggestions! TL;DR below, even though to get it you might have to read a little bit of the paragraph lol.)

She would be fun for about 2-4 weeks before either becoming used by all or completely irrelevant. Her Q and ult are totally broken (free gold? free item, even for a short time?) Her W seems like a good idea if the contract is longer, but I would change it to a passive like Azir's, make the contract last maybe 3 minutes and have a 5 minute cooldown (could be worked out but you get what I mean) and it would be cool if the E was kind of a mix of Draven passive and Sion W (the health one, I don't play Sion so I don't remember) where she picks up medium amounts of gold on champion kills/assists and epic monsters and small amounts of gold on enemy minions and small monsters. Activating her E can give a selected ally all the gold she has farmed up, but can't give herself this gold. Q could allow HER to be the only one able to pick up the gold and add to her E passive, while still doing damage. W could be an ability that you tag onto yourself or an ally (like Zilean bomb) that gives small amounts of gold and health for each enemy hit (gives the gold to the person tagged, or if it is an enemy or minion, gives gold to the closest ally.) I would change the ult a bit, maybe to do global damage to enemies and give global gold to her allies (maybe a little more than the amount a turret gives?) This could make her VERY strong as a support jungler. She wouldn't have very good gank potential but she can come to lanes and just shower allies with gold. She would be a support who could poke and give gold to allies easily, making the ADC very fed with gold, changing the game.

TL;DR: Change Q (maybe just take away the gold, or make it add on to the E passive I described), make W the passive and make a new W ability that damages, heals, and gives gold, tweak the E a bit, and change the R to make a champion that could be very successful in the current meta.

It's a good champion concept, but you forgot lore, artwork, and a passive. Keep working on it though, and I hope you take some of my ideas into consideration! I'm not going to upvote or downvote it, but if you make a new forum page you can add/message me in league or just reply to my comments and I'll be sure to take a look! Thanks for reading if you did haha

Scarlott The Shopkeeper: A New Perspective!

Appearance: Scharlott is a champ based VERY loosely on a girl that I has a huge crash on years ago that worked at a gas station. Because of this, I imagine Scharlott as an tall, attractive female with shoulder length straight black hair and tattoos covering her arms and bosom area. She would probably also carry a large backpack or maybe drag around a mining cart full of her shop items.

Story: Scharlott was born of gypsy parents but orphaned at a young age (maybe a tie in to twisted fate?). Young and alone, she quickly learned that money was the most powerful resource in the world and thus committed herself into obtaining as much of it as possible. She town-hopped around Bilgewater sometimes stealing and other times selling, but always making a profit. Now that she is all grown up, she realized that she simply doesn't enjoy being just a shopkeeper anymore. Using her contacts in the shopkeepers guild and her riches she was able to convince the summoners to allow her to participate in the League of Legends.

PASSIVE: Scharlott spawns with the portable shop item in her inventory. Scharlott's portable shop contains all items available in normal shop that are below 600 gold in its original cost (this means that a champ could not build into higher cost items like Black Cleaver etc). This amount increase by 100 every-time she levels up her R. Once she has been out of combat for five seconds she can activate her item to set up shop. Her shop has 5 stacks and a stack is depleted every time a champion purchases from her. Stacks are replenished upon visiting shop (the one at fountain) and her max number of stacks are also increased by one every-time she levels up her R. She gains gold equal to 1/3 of the price of the items purchased from her.

*Instead of mana or energy, or just cooldown, Scharlott uses her gold as her "resource" meaning that each ability would consume some of her gold

Q: She hurls a sack of gold that lures enemy champs to it (think like Arhi's charm, only this is a skill shot with an AOE). If an enemy champion reaches the gold, the sack will explode dealing damage to those around it

W: Scharlott spends gold in order to resupply her shop, replenishing one supply stack.

E: Every time an epic monster or enemy minion or champion is slain they have a chance of dropping materials that can be scavenged. Only she can scavenge these materials (by walking over them and standing still, kinda like Rek-sai's tunnels). She finds gold for each second spent scavenging (number of seconds possible scales with ability level) if she completely finishes scavenging she replenishes a supply stack. She can activate this ability to grant a nearby allied champion gold.

R: Scharlott uses her connections with the shopkeeper's guild in order to place a special contract on target enemy. If the enemy is slain before the contract expires its slayer will get a free item purchase the next time they visit shop. This buff expires upon death.

So hear me out, this mechanic might allow for more flexibility in the kit while adding a fun dynamic. What if Sharlott's portable shop feature was an item only (it could provide her some stats and be upgradable if necessary to compensate) and not tied to her passive. Her passive could be something like this (combo passive):

Interest/Embezzlement-

Interest- Sharlott passively gains 2 gold per 10 seconds.

Embezzlement- Sharlott misappropriates money from minions, monsters, and enemy champions with each auto-attack (1 coin for minions and small monsters, 3 coins from bigger monsters, and 5 coins from enemy champions). This launderied money cannot be spent on items. However, it can be used by her abilities.

Coins are not Gold so, you're not stealing from the enemies gold supply. Minions and monsters eat travelers so they can have coins XD (this was so she can have a jungler tie in). Here's the fun part, her abilities could potentially operate off of gold to some extent (making "Interest" important).

Q: Keep it as is, but make it charge so it deals more damage and potentially slows with more charge. It would cost X gold increasing with charge length of which the cost can be reduced by Y% by using Z Coins you have stored (X and Z are always flat amounts). If the gold on pick-up is a small flat amount it's fine to keep.

W: Could rename this Contract/Black Market Exchange: here's why. The ability is pretty solid as is. Here's where it can be fun. Since she is using gold on Q, gaining gold somehow would fair. Make this a dual ability. On enemy cast you get the contract. On self-cast you exchange X% of your Coins into the black market where you receive in exchange Y% (a very small percentage) back as gold! ;)

E: This ability is currently being reworked yet? Consider some CC here and/or some fun interplay with the Coin system if you like it. One idea is a trap that charms enemy champs if they get close. Sharlott could place a sack of money on the ground using Gold/Coins mix that lures in a champion (charm effect playing off of greed/love of money) if a champ gets close?

R: Really neat idea, but unfortunately hard to balance. I don't think it's feasible, but maybe you can prove me wrong? ;) I suggest a full rework on this ability. Quick idea here is to offer up all of your Coins for a different effect depending on how many were used? Could open up options.

Phew! TL;DR over lol. I really like this fresh idea :) If you appreciate any of my ideas and feel like it, I'd love to know what you think about two of my champs.

only one Summoner's opinion you don't have to read you know. in other words, how I would expand on your idea. you may go where ever you like w/ this.

Positive-I Like the idea about the passive. I loved your ideas for scavenging and the passive shop w/ the limited supplies. how about combining them together having it so you have to scavenge to use your passive shop? just a word for thought.

Negative- the whole messing w/ gold thing seems too much to me being able to handing gold to allies/enemies. yes, I get where you're going with the q a whole risk reward. The trolls man they just have Aniva and are going home with that wall.

ability thoughts passive- item in your inventory as a shop is fine. q- liner skill shot is fine but the dropping gold i'm not thrilled for. w- I could see this w/ the method I listed above and it being random. e- I don't see giving gold to allies is the best option for balanced. the passive is fine again w/ the method I listed above. r- i like the idea for targeting an enemy for death for free gold as an ult.

What I propose is an inventory system for your character getting the common basic materials from monster and minion drops (similar to thresh souls) specifically for her shop. Could it be scavenging for materials for bigger items like ruby crystal, cloth armor, and long swords w/ a much rare chance, about one or so every 10-20 mins., of getting those big items like B.F. sword or needlessly large rod. and keeping the max gold cost the same for combining items. of course, they should be a cap to a shop's inventory and she should be allowed empty out said inventory at the fountain gaining her some gold based on the items found. the items in her shop inventory shouldn't affect her stats though for she may have more space in there than her active inventory.

passive- Finders Keepers has a chance to find basic items off of fallen foes very rarely finding any item above certain gold amount that scales w/ level. all items found this way go into a pouch (that takes up an inventory slot) that when activated shows the current items scavenged. (which cannot be used anyway other than by selling for ~1/3 of their price or by use in Open for business)

q- Butter Fingers drops a gold pouch that does damage based on skill lvl (scales off ap?) if it strikes an enemy it has a chance to drop a scavengeable good more likely to happen against enemy champions(note: does not cause players to drop bought items). type}single target(targeted or skill shot). Cooldown} ~2-5 seconds. Cost} ~50-100 gold

w- Open for business she sets up shop providing a small regen buff to herself (scales off ap?) also she gains all the gold form any purchased goods at the cost of the purchased good coming from her shop inventory. She isn't any good at combining things so, she can only build things in to second tier no more and it takes her time. Restrictions} can't be activated in battle. Can't combined anything that has been combined beforehand and takes a few seconds ~2-4. Type} toggle. Cooldown} ~5-20 seconds ~2-5 seconds to turn off. Cost} ~5-10 gold per second. (sounds expensive that's the cost for running a shop)

e- Bribe she bribes the shopkeeper to give her an item for a discount item. Restrictions} can only be activated at fountain. Type} instant Cooldown} ~30-40 seconds. Cost} ~100-200 gold

r- Bounty doubles the bounty of a targeted champion up to a max of 1000 gold (max bounty in games is 500 to my knowledge) for several seconds ~10-30. Type} global targeted. Cooldown} ~60-180 Cost} ~250 Gold

what do you think? again, this is only my input off of all your ideas.
