It's never going to happen, but animations on several champions needs to be slowed waaayyyy down.

Ever had it where an enemy pops out of nowhere and suddenly you are looking at a grey screen? You look at the damage report (which ALSO needs to be bug fixed lol) and that is when you see that in that split second, you took a Q, E, W, auto attack, item active, and another auto attack. That needs to stop.

If we can't even tell that we are being hit by multiple abilities until we consult after death damage report than how does Riot expect us to react TO those abilities? The answer is that we can't unless we know the champion we are getting melted by and know the exact combo he is going to do before he even does it. That a little difficult with 100+ champions.

Each ability needs to have it's own animation and it's own counter-play

EDIT: I am glad to see that at least the majority of the discussion has remained civilized and been void of any childish name-calling or attempts to just insult eachother over nothing. We are all passionate about this game!

No, each CHAMPION needs to have it's own counterplay. You don't need all 4 spells on a champ to be counterable. But the champ composed by these ablities needs to be counterable.

Can confirm. Been killed in 0.22 seconds according to a death report, completely within the range of average human reaction according to 200+ years of collective design experience.

And that's not even factoring in things like latency, frame refresh rates and input lag that come with playing any online game regardless of how good your hardware is.

and some need to be sped up, like warwick's basic attacks.

There are a couple problems with this that would require the mechanics of the game as a whole to be looked at and make the game feel a bit worse to play.

For one thing this would be a huge buff to ground target mobility. If I can't instagib Ezreal as soon as he gets in range that means he will always be able to E away.

Essentially what you are asking for is more end lag on spells, and having laggier moves feels worse unless they have a larger payoff. If every move in the game was slower it would turn off a lot of people that like games that are mechanically deep.

If this change was made you would have to make escaping from fights harder in some way like adding a bunch of long lasting slows to kits that don't have them and such. Of course, it is hard to know without testing but those would be my immediate concerns.

Some are to fast - some or to slow, tho there's also the 3rd option... "canceled animations" which actually increases the attack speed. And this is done on the player part:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e-3erbIP0Ng

Technically it's an exploit (since this champions were not intended/designed to work like that in the first), tho - for some reason it's endorsed by Riot (some would argue that this champions are more fun to play this way) - or a double standard...

https://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/gameplay-balance/2E5OR05E-as-a-riven-main-i-dont-understand-why-animation-cancelling-is-allowed-to-exist

https://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/gameplay-balance/1Lluz7cn-animation-cancel-double-standard

That being said... being good at using this exploits - is actually acknowledged as being more skilled at playing the game. Which again, is endorsed by Riot - it's even a core part of high Elo and the pro scenery. An unintended feature" as some would put it. Tho, that unintended speed boost - makes some of this champions close to impossible to counter (or react to...).

Yes! Animation canceling needs to be removed. Either that or all spells including Veigar stunwall, Sion Q, cho knockup need to be instant cast.

Average human visual reaction time is anywhere from .1 to .025 seconds To be anywhere Plat and above Riot wants you at .18 seconds
